Beautiful facility although lighting in breakfast dining area is dim and makes it difficult to see. Independent living is separate from Assisted Living in all aspects, including dining, so if resident has to move to AL, they have to dine with AL folks, which seems sad to me. Also, rent was raised just 5 months after move-in date. We were not prepared and have to use savings to make the increase work until we find a less expensive place.

My mother-in-law entered assisted living at Addington Place two years ago after a minor stroke prevented her from living independently. The facility is exceptionally well maintained and always clean. The staff is polite and, kind, and caring. Our family has been very satisfied with the level of care that our mom receives there. When issues have arisen, which has been rare, the management works quickly and efficiently to resolve them. My family often has to travel, and when we do we are very comfortable that mom is being well cared for in our absence. Most importantly, mom is very happy there!

My mother has just moved in about 3 months ago she has finally gotten settled. All her furniture has arrived and pictures have been hung. Thank God for the maintenance team who hung ALL of her pictures I could not have done it alone. So far she has made some friends and is enjoying the activities. I have to say the welcome she has received is amazing. She had moved here from California and is in Independent living. The entire team at Addington has been so helpful. The entire place is beautiful and clean. I have spent many months researching communities around the area and I am so happy she chose Addington Place

Addington Place of Stuart has been a great blessing for my mother. Everything about this place just screams home, the staff are wonderful people who you can tell are very well trained. They get to know every resident and their family members on a personal level. Not to mention the management team were so helpful throughout our transition making our move so easy. My mother is in assisted living and after reviewing all the other communities nearby I am very happy with our choice, picking Addington Place as my mother's home. She quickly made friends as they have a great ambassador program.

My 98 yr old Father has been living here alone for almost two years now. I try to visit him every day. I am so grateful for Addington. Mom passed away about 8 yrs ago and Dad has never been the same since then. But, I have to tell you, the friendly nature of the staff here is beyond outstanding. They go out of their way to make him feel at home. They express genuine concern for the residents here. From the Maid service, the Dinning and Kitchen Staff, the Front Desk personnel, to Management, It is so obvious to me that they really do care about doing their best! I often wonder why they chose their name "Addington Place?" It should have been named "Addington Palace," because here, they treat my Dad like Royalty!

I am deeply disappointed and concerned about the practices at Addington Place of Stuart. My experience with this facility has been nothing short of distressing, particularly regarding their policies, financial practices, and management. First and foremost, Addington does not allow residents to age in place, which is contrary to what one would expect from a memory care facility. This policy is not only disruptive but also detrimental to the well-being of the residents who require stability and continuity in their care. Additionally, the facility’s financial practices are shrouded in secrecy. There is a glaring lack of transparency regarding charges, and it is evident that residents and their families are being overcharged. This predatory approach to billing is unacceptable, especially when dealing with vulnerable individuals and their loved ones who are already under significant emotional and financial stress. The leadership at Addington is particularly troubling. The director is not only heartless and insincere but also dishonest. Their facade of compassion quickly dissolves under scrutiny, revealing a person who is more concerned with profit than the welfare of the residents. This disingenuous attitude extends to the staff, who are often treated poorly. It is clear that the toxic management style has a detrimental impact on both staff morale and the quality of care provided. The lack of support for aging in place, opaque and exploitative financial practices, and unethical management all contribute to an environment that is harmful to both residents and staff. I urge potential residents and their families to look elsewhere for a facility that truly values compassion, transparency, and ethical care.

My mother spent the last 2 years of her life here - first in Assisted Living, then Memory Care. The facility itself is clean and well-cared for. The staff is FANTASTIC. They are professional, caring and go out of their way to meet needs and anticipate wants. They are quick to respond and always have the resident as a priority. Maxeme was kind, communicative and treated us all as family. Mom's room in Memory Care was wide open and nothing was ever taken or missing. We were always welcome - day or night. It is understandably difficult to find staff in this industry, but Addington manages to find and train people with great attitudes that are pleasant and happy to be there. This is where I want to be when I reach that stage in my life.

The staff is not well trained, especially in the dinning area. Supervision of Meds is very good as well as that of the nursing staff. Food preparation needs to be improved. However, the accommodations are quite good,and there many activities to enjoy throughout the week.

This facility is awesome. I relocated my parents from an awful facility in Jacksonville that was not caring for them properly (no showers for weeks, out of my moms Parkinsons meds for days, the list goes on.) I re-located both parents to Allegro in Stuart where I live and they have been phenomenal. My mother's in Assisted Living and they make sure she is well cared for all day and all night. They make sure she's eating her meals and, if not, they bring food to her apartment and set it up for her. They take her for walks and play tic-tac-toe with her to get her out of her apartment. They suggest in-house activities to her that she can handle . . . . very, very caring. Heidi heads up this awesome team in the AL but the Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Desk and Kitchen Crew are all exceptional. Very caring, very responsive.

Beautiful facility, fantastic food and activities to rival a cruise ship. There is something for everyone and every ability. The staff is extremely accommodating as well. Could not have found a better place for our mother.
