Recently I went through the painful headache of finding the right forever home for my Mothers in law. We stumbled upon the facility and thought why not give it look. She truly fell in love with it and the staff quickly became like family to her. The facility and staff promote an active lifestyle for her. Recently her and her peers went on a trip to the beach. Needless to say we are happy with this forever home and it seems to be an excellent fit for my Mother in law.

My husband started working at Wentworth about 2 months ago. He has worked at other senior living facilities in this area. He has never been more satisfied with the management and staff. He is the Maintenance Manager and he has the full support of all the other Managers. The training of new employees at this location is very meticulous and includes introductions to all staff. The location has been very well maintained and has a wonderful group of people working in maintenance and housekeeping. All of this leads to excellent care for the residents.

I am one of the Resident Engagement Assistant's and I've only been working at Wentworth for a short while now, but already know this is a place I get and want to call home. I absolutely love what I get to do every day for the residents. I know that I am there to bring them joy, but what they don't know is that they bring me joy every day. And the icing on the cake is that I get to work under an amazing Director of Hospitality, Annette Martin and a great group of colleagues. Every time I visit there it is such a wonderful experience, from the Executive director, to the hospitality director (Annette) and the director of nursing (Raquel) everyone is so nice and caring. Also Wentworth is probably the nicest, cleanest assisted living facility in the area. You can just tell the residents are well taken care of, every time I am there they are always smiling and upbeat. When it comes to an assisted living facility, if the residents are happy, then you know everyone is doing a great job from the management to the employees.

My parents moved into Wentworth on Central about 6 months ago. I couldn't be happier with the decision to have them there. The staff is amazing, friendly, professional and very competent. The facilities are well kept, there are lots of activities and things for the residents to do. The food is excellent. They have a professional chef and kitchen staff to cater to individual's diets, etc. The medical care they receive at Wentworth is also top notch. Raquel, the director of nursing and wellness, and the rest of the medical staff are very caring, well-trained and educated in the caring of elderly people. They also have a PT on the premises, a doctor that comes a few times a week, and specialists also visit. If you are looking for an Assisted Living Facility in Tampa Bay, I'd highly recommend getting in touch with Alice or have a chat with their executive director Rebecca at Wentworth on Central for a tour. You won't be disappointed!

I feel as though Wentworth works very hard to make residents happy. They take the extra step to satisfy our needs. The rooms are very nice. Drew, the bus driver has made some recommendations for area attractions and was super helpful. The Chefs are outstanding and it shows in the meals we eat. I'm glad I chose Wentworth!

Dad resided at Wentworth from 2021 until his recent passing. Choosing an assisted living community is stressful and our family visited quite a few places before deciding on Wentworth. Our first impressions were positive. The directors provided several tours and answered all our questions. The building was clean, maintained, bright, and nicely decorated. The apartments were comfortable. Dad always looked forward to mealtimes – the large and inviting dining room, the food, and the companionship of his table mates. The activities offered to residents were varied and plentiful. All the staff – nursing, caregivers, dining, activities, housekeeping, maintenance, directors – knew Dad and our family. They were kind toward Dad and genuinely shared in our sadness at his passing. Dad called Wentworth his home, and my siblings and I have no doubt that it was the right choice for Dad.

After our mother had a stroke and she could not care for herself completely we researched assisted living places in St. Petersburg. We decided on Wentworth on Central. We cannot say enough great things about this facility…apartment on a monthly basis, residents, staff, care, activities and management. All management and staff are always available for you to communicate with and the care staff are always available to care for our mother. Our mother was not sure about assisted living at first but now loves living there.

We have had a stellar experience with Wentworth. We needed to find a memory care facility for our father as he had a sudden status change with his dementia. Everyone was so helpful, kind, patient, and knowledgeable in helping him to transition to his new home. Even in his confused state they new just how to reassure him and redirect his attention. My father-in-law has lived at Wentworth Central Avenue (formerly Brentwood Senior Living) for almost five years and we have seen a lot of turnover in terms of executive directors and staff. I am so pleased that Tracy Marx joined the community as the executive director last fall. In just a few months, the frequency of communication and transparency about the facility, staff and residents has improved dramatically. A new director of health and wellness/nursing, Raquel Miley joined the team and took the time to call every residents' family to introduce herself and listen to any concerns and requests. Although we have seen many med techs and aides come and go, we are particularly grateful that Ronny Reyes and Chanta Jackson have been with the facility through the ups and downs and for the care they continue to provide my father-in-law.

I have seen my sister's health and welfare improve considerably since being a resident at Wentworth one the past 1 1/3 year, This is due to the amazing care she receives from the Activities Staff that creates games & activities that makes life interesting. From exercise class to jewelery making to learning new games to play (such as Bocce, Farkle, etc), her daily life improved. Barb & Janine make sure she is busy and show interest in her well being. She now assists other residents and feels needed as a member of her community. A winning combination!

The energy in this community can be felt from the front door to the caregiver. The team here were very respectful and attentive. I had the opportunity to spend time with the clinical team and they were so informative and receptive. Every team member from housekeeping, culinary, clinical, etc displayed smiles and were so friendly. So many smiling faces. The residents look happy to be there!!
