My brother was admitted for post hospital management and treatment for dementia. The staff was knowledgeable, interested, responsive and caring. Members immediately responded to questions as we live 1200 miles from Sarasota and mostly communicated by phone and email. Special thanks to Desiree, Melissa and the attentive nursing staff.

Our 96 year old Father has been here for almost 2 weeks! After several other rehab places we strongly recommend Sarasota Point Rehab ! Nurse Mario and the entire staff have been incredible! Clean , professional, caring employees and management. At this point I wish I could give 10 stars !

My father in law has been at SRQ point for over a year now. We are extremely pleased with the staff, especially Caryn who has gone above and beyond in caring for my Father in law. Michelle the activities director cares for the residence as though they were family. The recent updates to the facility has been lovely. All areas are always clean. There has been some staff turnover throughout the year, but we feel as though they've always had the right people in positions. Highly recommend SRQ point.

Yesterday, we helped our friend, who has been in another skilled nursing facility for the past 20 years, move into Sarasota Point Rehabilitation Center and so far we have nothing but good things to say about this place. The administrator was beyond helpful when it comes to making this move happen. She made it smooth and easy and was always available if we had any questions or concerns. She also kept us constantly updated. The rest of the staff, that we have met so far, have been very nice. The facility itself is clean and it doesn't smell like a lot of nursing homes do, which is a wonderful change.

Great experience. I had the pleasure of meeting with a great lady here for therapy today. She had potential to move to an ALF. She is choosing to stay at Sarasota Point long term. She told me she likes the food and gets great care from the staff. Our loss but wonderful to see her so happy and feeling great that she found the right place to live with the care she needs as she ages.

I can't say enough about Sarasota Point Rehab Center. It's all about the people, the kind, caring people who took the time to show tenderness and kindness to my husband and to me. There are so many people I would like to acknowledge but I will say that there are a few standouts for me. Maggie, the director of nursing / this is her passion, this facility is her pride and joy, to say she goes the extra mile for her residents and family and staff would be an understatement. Linda, the CNA, what a dynamo, a force, knew just the right mix of encouragement and push to get my husband to do what he should have been doing, will never forget you. And nurses Debbie and Eduardo, such special people - thank you. Vanessa, the social worker, so careful and professional and so very good at the job of helping us sort through just about everything we had to deal with. Vanessa helped bring the overwhelming into manageable. A facility isn't the building, it's the people who run it, and you will not be disappointed at Sarasota Point. We will never forget you, so much appreciation...Mary and Joe Licata

I selected Sarasota point as a short term rehab for my 89 year old uncle after researching on the web due to being out of state and when I arrived to visit the facility before transferring him from the hospital I was very impressed from my first step into the facility. Everyone was so welcoming! The facility was bright and clean. The private rooms were excellent. I had recently gone through this with my 89 year old mother in Sarasota and unfortunately she had a double room and that was very uncomfortable at times to the point that I had to ask for her to be moved. I don't remember all the names of the folks but they were all very caring and sweet to my Uncle. I want to especially that Venessa in social services who was very responsive to my requests and made the transition for my uncle to his new assisted living facility very seamless !! Again thanks to the entire Sarasota Point team ... highly recommend this facility for your family members sincerely Craig

April 2024
My 81 year old father with dementia was admitted to Sarasota Point recently for about three weeks and we had a very positive experience. All of the staff I interacted with were outstanding. I would check in most days with the PT /OT / Speech Therapy team and they would provide an update on his progress. While at Sarasota Point, he made significant improvements in his strength and movement. They got him back on his feet - literally. The nursing staff were all very attentive to him. Most days he ate in his room but they have a nice dining room with outdoor pavilion and there were many activities during the day going on - musicians, games etc. On several days there was Big Band music playing in the hallways which Dad loves. Vanessa and Melissa were extremely helpful explaining how everything works during intake and discharge and answering any questions during his stay. The front desk team members were always there to greet you and were very helpful. The facility is very clean and organized inside and the outside is nice with several little gazebos. I would wheel Dad around the property or sit in the gazebo and look at the scenery. Everyone who works there was very professional.

Since new management of Laura Haraburda and her team have taken over, this place has transformed. The hallways and floors are clean, patients and staff are calm and content, interaction with staff is pleasant. It was a joy meeting with this team today I would recommend them as a SNF!

This facility has been a god send for my father and my family. After a traumatic event, my father needed assistance getting back to health and this facility and their staff have been everything I could have asked for. I cannot thank them enough.

I have been at this location for a week now and I want to say that I have never been treated so nice.... EVER!! They have the nicest staff who really go out of their way to take care of you. When you turn your light on for help they come immediately. In the mornings and evenings when the meals are delivered they even know how I want my coffee and fix it for me. The food is very good also. Nothing more I can say except if I ever need PT or any care again you betcha I'll be here. I'll miss everyone! Can't thank you enough!

There are always 2 sides to every story. The most recent review with "my Dad living here since June 1st" is one side of the story. This is from a daughter that lives in California and NEVER ONCE set foot into Sarasota Point to visit her Father. I am the son and POA and live locally. No facility is perfect. But we are VERY happy with Dad's level of care. Dad in the "Lido" section and we love his primary Caryn and all the staff that looks after Dad. Stacy Norkin was our first point of contact and she answered all of our questions/concerns before we moved Dad into this location. Between my wife and I we are fortunate that we can visit Dad several times a week to pop in and make sure he is well cared for. Dad is a Dementia FALL RISK and the staff is constantly monitoring him and giving us updates. It takes a "village" to care for Dad and WHEN Dad had his heart attack in July and went to Sarasota Hospital they made SURE he was comfortable and able to recover fully upon his return. This "Sister" has been invited to join Dad's next Care plan meeting to get all of her questions answered from the staff via Zoom in 2 weeks.... Thank you Sarasota Point for working WITH us......

After my sister barely survived devastating hurricane Ian after falling alone in the dark on her flooded floor, unable to get up from weakness without her oxygen, her medications wet while her blood sugar levels skyrocketed she was found, transported to the Sarasota hospital, received surgery for a wound and soon needing skilled nursing care. After researching a list of possible skilled nursing facilities, Sarasota Point Rehabilitation Center was contacted. Amber quickly responded, answering questions and completing the arrangements for admission. She continues to provide excellent ongoing sound, professional, family-friendly and caring communication, while ensuring smoothly coordinated services to meet needs through nursing staff and the business office, where Lori has taken on my sister's complicated insurance paperwork with amazing skill. Lori's knowledge navigating through the process necessary to finally meet my sister's multiple medical, physical, nursing and financial challenges is remarkable. My sister enjoys her meals and is making terrific progress. She praises care from several of her nurses and Mario, whom she notes as being compassionate and very helpful while adding a happy smile to her day. Indeed, Sarasota Point's quality team exemplifies excellence in meeting my sister's needs. I'm certain this team's care, assistance and compassion creates great days for all who are in their skillful hands and for family members like myself. On behalf of my sister, we are grateful, appreciative, and thank each and every team member working together at Sarasota Point Rehabilitation Center: an excellent choice we recommend!

I want to publicly thank the many healthcare providers and administrative staff at Sarasota Point for the care that David received while there over two years. I credit a lot of his recovery and well being today to the consistent care he received and importantly the willingness of the staff to listen and assist as needed. While not the newest facility, most of the rooms are large and all are on the ground floor with 99% having large windows. During Covid when access was limited, being able to see and speak with David through his window became very important. We sincerely appreciate all the staff who worked to help David with his recovery.

As a Health Care Professional for the past 25-years in the State of Florida I was extremely impressed with this beautiful Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. I found the staff professional, kind and knowledgeable. This Center is clean with beautiful private suites. If you are searching for a 5-Star Quality Rehab and Nursing Care Center for your Senior family member or friend I highly recommend this Center. The new Administrator, Director of Nursing, Director of Admissions and other Team Members are amazing!!
