Super friendly,clean and organized. Nice rooms and amenities for residents and guests. Feels happy when you walk in. The menu included great meal choices as well. The tour was informative and did not feel rushed at all.

We recently moved my mom into Grand Villa for a 30 day respite stay and they have been great! The staff has been very helpful getting her settled in and making sure she has everything she needs. The lines of communication are outstanding - someone is always available to answer questions and help you navigate through the process.UPDATE:I would like to highly recommend Grand Villa Senior Assisted Living to anyone in need of a facility for a loved one. My mom just finished a 30 day respite stay...I found myself in need of such service when my mother recently fell and suffered a fractured wrist, broken jaw, bruised ribs, and injured knees. Upon Mom’s release from rehab, Grand Villa Senior Assisted Living stepped in to help her transition from inpatient care to home. We could not have had a better experience. The staff at Grand Villa is friendly, attentive, and most important of all, knowledgeable. Their nursing staff is beyond great. My mom came to Grand Villa in a difficult situation with her jaw wired shut, unable to eat or even communicate easily. Everyone there was super sweet to her. They were very attentive, always checking to see if there was anything extra they could do to make her more comfortable.All in all, Grand Villa Senior Assisted Living made a tough time a little easier for my mom and for our family. Thank you so much!

My father has been in memory care for 1 year this month. June 2021. I think the remodeling done over the past year has made it look new and fresh. It has been a very caring unit. He has been very happy. I feel the standard of care is above average. I love the windows and inner garden you view from hallway. My father is a walker and loves to be outside. Some of the employees took dad outside to walk which was wonderful. When he was in downstairs room, he loved going in garden. Since Covid has improved there has been lots more activities. A few draw backs have been the many changes in personnel. Bennett is great and easy to work with. There have been 4 new executive directors since June 2020. Also 3 or 4 new memory care director -managers. 3 new activities directors. Julie at front desk is super helpful. She has been there the whole year. Ive felt employees are trained to make family feel comfortable while visiting. Also they are good to return my calls. The price did increase after 9 months, when remodel was finished. I was told this was due to cost of gloves, mask and entertainment cost. Ive dealt with several facilities over the years for other family members and this one has been best in my opinion. I do recommend GrandVilla.

What an amazing facility! My mom went in kicking and screaming as its a major life transition. But she had dementia so unfortunately as a family member you need to make these hard choices. It took a little while to make it feel like home but she is loving it. She has a 5th floor unit with a kitchen overlooking downtown Sarasota. But most importantly everyone from the ED to the staff, who I know and have talked with for several years now, really care and are 100% on top of her well being. Including all through Covid. We looked at every place in Sarasota and by far, are happy still 2 years after making the decision to go to Grand Villa.

Things have improved tremendously in Memory Care with the arrival of the new Memory Care Director. She is always available, understanding and often initiates updates. Both of the ladies in charge of activities have done an amazing job keeping everyone active and engaged with so many limitations due to Covid. They keep the residents minds occupied with learning new things, celebrating special moments and getting to know all about them and their past. Looking forward to hearing about everyone getting out to enjoy the beautiful community when it is safe to do so.

My partner has been at Grand Villa Memory Care since November. Bennett, Chalmy, Teri and all the other caretakers are wonderful. Im always kept updated on any changes they see in my partner. He is very happy there. The facility is constantly adding staff and upgrading the residents quality of life. It is a vibrant community.

Since Grand Villa has taken over this community they have and are continuing to make tremendous improvements. My Mom has been in Memory Care there for years and I really felt like no one cared about her until Dawn and her staff took over. Throughout this COVID epidemic they continually keep me informed and all the residents safe. I finally have peace of mind.

My father lives there. We are very pleased that he is there. Everyone is very nice and caring. The dinning room is very nice and the food is good. We love the location as it is easy access to the surrounding area. The rooms are very nice and spacious. He has a one bedroom unit and loves it A hidden jewel of Sarasota for seniors. We highly recommend it!

Ive been here for only 4 months, and I am completely satisfied. The staff is AMAZING! The dining room is also very good. We have many activities, and also bus trips into town. The location is perfect! Its very handy to downtown.

Our Mom was only there for a short time before her passing. Our experience under current leadership was exemplory. The entire staff that we had the pleasure of dealing with showed great compassion and were extremely caring during our Mom's stay and especially during her final days.
