The team at Lake Forest sets the bar for assisted living in Seminole county. I toured so many communities with my grandmother and we fell in love with Lake Forest because of the kind, genuine, and supportive team of professionals who work there. I cannot recommend them enough!

shout out to Vitality. I love the place. I have worked in many nursing homes in 36 yrs and they are not perfect but better than any I've been in. They, most, care about the clients. And the director there has done a great job for Vitality. He has had a tough run with covid, etc going on but my client was better off there than anyplace else. Front door staff, nurses,and med tech are excellent. Dining staff is pretty good too and they do care. So if ur looking for a place I highly recommend them. I'll always say great things about them and I'm surely going to miss the place. Rob you have done a great job.

The moment I walked in it felt like a place I would recommend. Clean spacious and welcoming. Front desk staff great. Listening to the staff communicate they all sounded happy and relaxed. Atria Park of Lake Forest is truly an amazing place. Both of my parents live there - my dad recently passing at 102 years of age. The care that my parents receive there is like no other assisted living facility that I know of. My mother loves living at the atria, now in her latter years, and truly feels it is her home. My husband, James, was placed in this facility in June, 2020 . Originally it looked so nice, clean, and comfortable for a resident with dementia. However, life was not good for James at this facility. He was not given anything to do or redirected when he was antzy and wanted things to do. No involvement with others to watch sports or listen to music. I understand with COVID-19 things are different but no one checked in on him to see how he was doing. He was taking his furniture apart because he was in construction for years and wanted to do something. And the final straw was the Baker Act. Obviously Atria did not want him as a resident anymore. In fact, I was told they did not want him back after his hospital stay in the psychiatric unit. There was not much communication with me either, except when he took something apart. Thankfully, he is in a facility now that truly has staff with experience in care of dementia residents. They keep him involved and he is smiling, laughing, and enjoying life.

Wonderful staff! Everyone is helpful and works to make the resident happy and comfortable. Food is healthy and delicious, has many activities and fun field trips. My family member has only been there a few months but I couldn't find one negative. Def recommend to anyone looking for AL. As with any place thoroughly check it out to be sure its a good fit.

My mother -in-law is a resident at Atria. The care she receives is exceptional. During the recent hurricane, they did all in their power to overcome the odds. Like most other facilities in Sanford and Lake Mary, Atria stood right by their residents, being there for all their needs. They even served meals in each resident's apartment. So very proud of the staff at Atria Park of Lake Forest. Gus is a genuine leader making all the right decisions at all the right times.

We are considering Atria for the wife's parents. Of 5 facilities we considered, Atria is one of two finalists.We were impressed with the look of the facility, the happiness of the residents, the number of staff, and the quality of the care. Everyone was so nice, and everything said was comforting and reassuring.We can only get a one bedroom apartment, so the parents would have to do a lot of downsizing from their two bedroom apartment. We also would have preferred to see alarms (bells/chimes/alerts) on all the doors. Finally, the Atria might be the most expensive of all the choices.

My mom has been at Atria Park at Lake Forest since August. I would say the food is a good restaurant to a home-cooked meal. The rooms are very nice. Everything is within a reasonable distance. She does the exercise, the bingo, the cards, and trips out to lunch. The outdoor grounds are very nice. It has more of a nice hotel feel than a typical assisted living place.

My wife Nan is in The Manor & I am in the Independent building. My wife is getting wonderful care from an incredible staff, who care about the residents and treat them like family. Cannot say enough good things about Ruthie, an electric personality, wonderful people skills and endless energy. The residents love her! The Independent building has a wonderful staff who go out of their way to assist the residents. The dining room staff is so congenial, sweet and caring. The "Star" employee is Bridgett. Nonstop energy, a wonderful heart, so very good at what she does. Besides training the staff, she's got a personality perfectly suited to deal with the residents. As President of the 2015 Resident Council Board, I would like to see Bridgett run against Hilary in 2016.

Atria at Lake Forest was very nice. The only difference was it was a little far for me to drive to go see my loved one. The place was very open and decorated very nicely. The dining room was restaurant-style. They had buses that come and go for different activities, plus they had bingo, arts and crafts, and exercises.

My parents are doing well at Atria Lake Forest. I really like it. The staff is very good. They are always informing us when something is going on, if we need to take care of something, or if they need more medicine. They are always good, and they like my them too. They are in the memory care unit, and they have a small dining room. The place is very clean, and there is no bad smell.

I think Atria at Lake Forest fits the needs of my father. It is a little expensive though. It is more than what we wanted to spend. However my father has unique requirements, and they seem to accept his needs. The staff there does a very good job. They are very helpful and caring. They know when to leave my father alone and when to provide incremental way of assisted care with a 92 year old resident. I also consider their apartments very spacious. Their food is top notch, and it doesn't get any better than that. They have all kinds of activities. My father likes to play bingo and poker from Mondays to Fridays. They have transportation and a movie theater there. They have various outings to various restaurants. There are more things that my father can sign up for and is capable of doing there. The place is also extremely safe. They have emergency buttons in every room. The residents have a personal pendant which they can press if they have any problem, and the staff will know where they are. They will then respond after three minutes. In totality, I am very happy with Atria at Lake Forest.

I have visited the Atria at Lake Forest. I am very familiar with this facility. Actually, I have a relative that lives there. I have nothing but good things to say about it. They are extremely caring and accommodating. They are aware of the rest of the family, and they are always very friendly and welcoming to us. She is in the Alzheimer's portion of the facility, and she has a very nice accommodation. She also likes the food. The dining room has a nice size, and it is very clean. They have an activities room and a TV room. They also bring in entertainment for the residents. She likes to walk a lot, and they have a nice courtyard.

My wife is at The Atria. I visited four other locations besides this location and this one had the best facility from the standpoint of the size of the room and the overall condition of the facility. The place is immaculate, very clean, modern and very up-to-date. The food is spectacular. I've been here for a month and the food is fabulous. It is very good, they bring it out in perfect timing. The dining area is very, very good. They have white tablecloths, cloths napkin and remarkable serving staff. There are more than enough people to take care of the crowd. The staff is unbelievable. They're terrific people. They are extremely accommodating. The people are marvelous. They can't do enough for you. What I like best about this community? It is hard to pick just one thing, but the staff is very excellent. They listen to you, they react right away. My wife got a little problem and they jumped on it immediately. They just can't do enough for you. In terms of activities, they post a monthly schedule in advance and they have activities every hour of the day, from 7:00 a.m. all the way through 7:00 p.m. when they run a new movie every night. They have card games, exercises and bingo. Right now, I'm in the middle of a poker game. We're only here about a month and my wife has very much acclimated already. She has already made several friends. She likes the food and her room. She likes everything about. The people are just so accommodating and so helpful. They came in early morning and they want to know what they can do for you. They help her get dressed and wheel her in her wheelchair over to the dining room. She is quite happy.

Every staff member is wonderful! Very attentive, caring and enthusiastic. Donna, the Engage life director, along with Angelica, Amy and countless others keep everyone involved and informed about all the activities. They are constantly finding new ways to keep up the interest and enthusiasm, often finding off site things to do. All the nurses(Nicole), physical and occupational therapists(Nemisha,Heather,Maria), personal attendants, waiters/waitresses, housekeepers, maintenance guys, are all very patient and caring and truly seem to love their jobs. Their personal attention and genuine empathy are second to none. My mother thrives here, both physically and mentally since they treat her as if she is a member of their own family. She feels loved and well cared for. Thank you to everyone!
