Pacifica Senior Living was so very kind and good to my Father. He recently passed away and I visited many times. I see what the staff goes through on a daily basis. These folks are a special kind of people to do this job day in and day out. The staff is tenured and kind to the residents. It’s very hard to find help that genuinely cares about these residents and treats them like family. I highly recommend Pacifica. Thank you for easing my mind because it was a difficult decision to put my Father in a home. God Bless the staff because you work so very hard for these residents.

My cousin lived in your facility for 10 months. The care she received in both the assisted living and memory care units was kind and professional. Having lived in a number of other places, Pacifica was the best for her. I only wish we had moved her there a few years before. Care, food and compassion was A+.

My Dad is new to the community but I know we picked the perfect place. The staff cares a lot about the residents. They moved his room immediately to one closer to the activities once they saw his ambulatory needs. I highly recommend this community

It’s hard to fine the perfect words to express my family’s extreme appreciation for this kind and wonderful senior living facility, The Pacifica in Sun City Center, Fl. Marcos Cardovez, the facility’s director whom my family had the pleasure of dealing with during a very difficult time was hands on and always available as we made the decision to have my father moved to Pacifica’s Senior Living memory care unit. My dad was being transferred from a rehabilitation center to Pacifica, upon his arrival the medical staff immediately realized he needed emergency care and called 911. How they handled the whole heartbreaking situation was amazing and the care they gave my mom as this emergency was happening was above and beyond. Marcos was in continuous communication with our family. We unfortunately did lose our dad, but their continued support was again I will use the word “amazing”. If you find yourself or a family member in need of senior living care, please take the time to visit Pacifica Senior Living in Sun City Center. The entire staff is caring and very kind and as I said at the beginning of this review it is hard to fine the perfect words to express our deep appreciation for the kindness given to our dad and mom.

I have been with this Community going on six years as the Activities Director and I must say, it truly does feel like home. The longevity of the staff speaks volumes to their dedication of taking care of others loved ones. The depths of the relationships we form with the Residents and their families sets us apart from other Communities. We are in constant contact with distant family members with social media, Facetime and Zoom. We are happy that COVID is almost behind us and happy to be welcoming new Residents daily. All of the staff from dietary, nursing and housekeeping are mindful to take the time out to welcome new and old Residents and it gives all of us pure joy to know that they have chosen Pacifica Sun City Center as their new home. Everyone is eager to be engaged with the families and the Residents and truly does go above and beyond ensuring the highest level of care at all times. It goes without saying that in this Community, we truly do what we love and love what we do on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis! We look forward to welcoming new Residents and enriching the lives of those that live and work there every day! It is truly, our pleasure. 🙂

I would like to give special recognition to the staff of Pacifica Sun City. Their patience and kindness has gone a long way to make my dad, a 3 year resident, happy. Living out of state, and the onset of COVID has been a challenge for everyone, but the staff has kept me well informed and has given my dad the extra attention and loving care he needed while I couldnt be there. This compassionate staff gives me peace of mind and so I highly recommend this facility.

my mom has been here 13 months, we loved the facility until covid hit. There were covid shots offered to the staff and residents, as per Jennifer they had 3 people die of covid from the shot and she is discouraging staff and families from vaccinating there loved ones. ?????This is very concerning as the cdc.gov website says this is wrong. I dont know where to turn to find the right information, but Ill keep looking. Thank you Mitch for reaching out to me and for understanding my concern. For the 14 months mom has been a resident, we her family have been very happy. Covid and the unknown have caused an increase in isolation of all our loved ones. WE look forward to our Sunday Drive 2 weeks after her second shot. Again Thank you staff each and everyone wears a halo. We found Pacifica Sun City Senior Living on the internet before COVID hit in February 2020. We met with the director and was able to walk around facility and get a good look at the place with one of the sales folks. We knew we didnt need to look any further after visiting Pacifica. It was just what dad needed. We brought dad down from New York to Pacifica in August 2020 and it made a world of difference. He loves his room (2BD, 2BA).The outside vendors (PT, OT, PCP, Podiatrist, Lab Retriever and RX) have been tremendously helpful. Pacifica has been able to help look after dad and get him the necessary care without him leaving the premises, even as he has deteriorated. Unfortunately, dad has declined due to a terminal illness (brain tumor and dementia). Pacifica was one of the first facilities to get their residents COVID shots which is tremendous considering New York has not given any vaccines to the elderly - yet. Dad got his second shot last week.This past week, we took a look at the Memory Care Unit at Pacifica – just in case, as a next step. It is a very bright, clean and inviting environment. When we were there the residents were in a group playing with a beach ball and they were smiling and having fun. It made us feel better about possibly having that as a next step.Mitch, Joann, Marco and Christina have gone above and beyond even under very trying circumstances with COVID. They are the reason the Pacifica community is able to function as well as they are. We cant thank them and all the other staff at Pacifica enough for all they have done and are doing for dad.

I have not regretted coming here. It is a perfect solution for me. Everyone has been exceptionally kind. Soon after I came here I had a healthcare problem and was admitted to the Health Center for 10 days. The staff were so lovely and looked after me in a professional manner. So not for one minute have I regretted coming here. What a great staff we have that look after our needs and our facility.

While visiting Pacifica Sun City today I watched a great group of people from Segrest Farms give the fish aquarium get a compleye make over. The tank came out beautiful and the residents had a great time watching the transformation. The guys answered questions and interacted with everyone, a great time was had by all. If you are looking for a home town friendly atmosphere for your loved one, this is the only stop you need to make. Never stuffy, always feels like home and everyone welcomes you with open arms.

I can't tell you how wonderful everyone has been to my mom and to our family. All personnel take the time to say hi when we visit and they address my mom by her name and always with a smile. We recently had to move my mom to memory care and everyone helped make the transition an easy one. The place is on the older side but it's clean. There are many activities for the residents to enjoy and participate in. It is definitely a place to check out.

Needing Memory Care Assistance for my Mother was challenging. I contacted Sun City Senior Living and was immediately embraced by Sandy. She assisted with the transition process and made a most difficult situation manageable. Sandy and Dawn, the Director, afforded me the opportunity to make the transition with ease and dignity, for my Mother. The staff has been been attentive to my Mother's needs and my requests. The facility is well maintained. I appreciate all of their care and concern.

Some thoughts regarding Pacifica Senior Living after 6 monthsMy wife needed the services of an ALF, and we joined the Pacifica family 6 months ago. We knew the Executive Director, Dawn Grady, from a previous facility. We were delighted to rejoin Dawn, based on an excellent past history with her. urbservations-experiences to dateFacility;Clean, well maintained, bright, easy to navigate for those with significant mobility issues. Rooms are very clean. And, remarkable, I dont think we have ever detected any objectionable odors.Staff;Knowledgeable, very friendly and competent, and conscientious. Very caring and patient with the residents, and really pay attention to the needs of the folks in their care. They really care.Food services;Outstanding. My wife has gained some (much needed) weight since she got here. Due to her disability she has special needs for food preparation, and assistance. The staff really takes her needs to heartManagement Team;Excellent, everyone is available to help and resolve any issues that come upottom line, my wife is delighted to be here, and so am I.

As I do this, I always I encourage them to talk to our Sun City residents and staff. This better enables new prospects to get their unique feel of our community and a better understanding of our residents daily lives and viewpointsThe majority of feedback as they tour is how friendly everyone is, and seeing that the residents are involved with activities, or talking with each other out in our open living areasWith our staff there is an attitude of going above and beyond to help our residents in any way. We all enjoy working here! We care about our residents, colleagues and community. Our Sun City community is extremely clean, well maintained and beautiful. Have never had any reservations opening any closed door to any room or area.On a personal note, my mother is advancing in her dementia, and I will be bringing my own mother to this community to be a resident when the time comes. With almost 30 years in the healthcare industry, I have enough knowledge to know that this is where my mom and her needs both medically and emotionally will be met, and where she can call it her homeI believe wholeheartedly in our Sun City senior living community! It is my responsibility to help families know theyve made the right choice for themselves or a loved one.
