My mother-in-law moved here about 6 months ago. Today we visited for her birthday and she seems more happy than she has been in a very long time. All of the employees went out of their way to speak to her and to us. For her birthday, the staff set up a special room for our family to have lunch including decorations for the room and came in to sing Happy Birthday to her. The food was really good and we enjoyed the day!

Wickshire is a fantastic living facility, very welcoming and very informative, given my personal circumstances the memory care group was very helpful and made my mothers move in process extremely easy.

I took my mother over there because she felt like a prisoner at Brookdale. She is very happy there. She got a room on the first floor so she can look out the window and see everyone coming and going. The staff was very easy to deal with and seem to take good care of her. Mom is a complainer and the fact that she doesn't and really seems to like place is a good enough reference for me. Her friend Jim is there with her and they are quite happy together.

HORRIBLE STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! FROM THE TOP AT CORPORATE OFFICE TO THE LIVING FACILITIES IS HORRIBLE!!! Once they rope you in and pray on your weakness to find help for your family members and once they get you in, you are unable to get a hold of anybody for anything! The memory care unit is the worst in this facility I walk into see my family member and you see people sitting with no bras on, their pants aren't pulled up all the way, they're sitting in their own urine and fecal matter. This place is horrible. The staff in the memory care unit have such attitudes when you ask them questions about your loved ones. They need to work on communication with family members and show the family members a little respect because it's the family members that are making their paychecks possible!!! The other issue is with the billing department ! They slip extra change onto the bill! They debited my bank account with one amount and then the bill reflects that I didn't pay them the amount they debited out of my account but instead they tell me that I'm wrong and I'm the idiot that doesn't know how to read a bill. They nickel and dime you to death, so pay close attention to your bill!! I have asked them numerous times to give me a call and sit down with them so I can explain my issue and no one calls me and no one wants to hear what I'm trying to explain to them, but they do keep debiting my account to get their money! When an issue arises and you try to call the department heads, no one returns your phone calls. When you get tired of dealing with a lack of communication from the facility itself and you try to call the corporate office, they also let you fall through the cracks and do not return calls either. This place really needs to be turned into the state of Florida regarding their care for patients and their lack of attentiveness to family members and their constant over billing and refusal to correct it. There are so many other issues with this place as well. They overdosed my sister and didn't know how to care for her. They had the tenacity to ask me what they wanted to do. I told them to send her to the hospital. They have no plans in place if there is something detrimental happening to your loved one. The staff seem to go into blame mode instead of focusing on the patient in need!! I took down my original post that actually detailed what happened to her because I promised the executive Director of the Wickshire that I would take it down until another incident evolved. That is why I am making this post. Key points here: 1.They have no respect for your loved ones-they do not care about the dignity of your loved ones!!!! 2. This facility and staff for more eager to blame instead of finding a solution to the problem. 3. The lack of communication runs rapid from the corporate office down to the facility level. 4. They over bill. 5. No one ever calls you back when you reach out to them at the corporate office level or the facility level. There are other places out there please send your loved ones there you would be better off!!!

I visited this community last week and I was very impressed with the staff, they were very friendly and accommodating. This community is very clean and well kept. I've visited several communities in this area and this community supersedes the rest. I would definitely recommend this place.

I can't say enough good things about Wickshire Port St. Lucie. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. The executive director and office staff were professional, compassionate, and accomodating. My father's caregiver in memory care was so kind and gentle with him. I started crying tears of gratitude because they were so wonderful with him. This was the most difficult time for my family, and the staff made the transition seemless with their care and compassion. I highly recommend Wickshire. You and your loved one will feel like family.

This assisted living facility definitely blew me away. You can really tell how much they genuinely care about their residents. They go the extra mile and really thought about ever detail to make living there a wonderful experience. I'm still shocked to see that they have a hair salon there for the convenience of their residents. Nicole is such a pleasure to work with honestly meeting with her didn't feel like work at all but like a conversation between friend.

As a registered nurse I have had the opportunity to care for residents at this facility and the staff was always over the top helpful and I can say from the bottom of my heart they truly care for there residents and the residents are always smiling which makes my heart happy! True senior advocates

My mother and father are moving in here. Glenn and Joann from the start have been nothing but helpful. We were hopeless till we found this place. Hands down this one is the best assisted living facilities that we viewed in the area. They truly want to help families and their loved ones. Benefits, activities, and facility are amazing for my parents. They have allowed my wife and I to breathe again. Wendy is the Director and she absolutely knows what she is doing. They gave us so much hope and we are so happy to of chosen this place. If you go there please use my last name when touring if you ask for Glenn. They will take good care of you and possibly give incentive when signing up!

When I first walked into this place I felt the homiest feeling at this community. Being here truly feels like home. We are one big family. This is stress free living. I would recommend you to come in and experience the good of this community for yourself.

This was our first experience with assisted living, also. My wifes Aunt needed more care than she could give to herself. We wanted her close by. The facility was beautiful. She was diagnosed with Alzheimers, dementia a year or so after moving into the assisted living units. We decided to keep her at this facility. She moved into the memory care unit and lived there for over 5 years. During that time, she was shown love and true care by everyone in the unit, even as her health was diminishing. We found the security to be a bit stringent at times, but considering the consequences, we understood.

A place to call home offering many activities and live entertainment. Very friendly residents and staff

I could not find a better place to call home. Not only are the people wonderful, so are the staff. I have never had any trouble with anyone. There are plenty of activities going on everyday. I am more than impressed with this place and I am so happy to live here.

Beautiful community! The staff was really nice and kind, helped with grandma when she came to visit. This was like an amazing resort but the deficiencies this community had was really disappointing. This place was a lot closer to us but we were concerned of the care she would get.
July 2019
I have personally been able to work with the staff at this facility.... Wendy and her awesome team are always available & attentive to any questions I may have but also to the residence that they care for. Ive been able to tour this facility on several occasions, residents are ways engaging and happy...... If I had to send my loved one somewhere this would definitely be a top choice!

Atria PSL is an awesome place for Mom! It is a very high quality environment when looking for an assisted living, skilled nursing home for your parents. They provide a friendly atmosphere, great food, fun social activities & Wendy, the Administrator, treats each resident like they are her own parents. The Memory Care floor is outstanding & safe. I would highly recommend this facility!
