South Port is a beautiful campus with amazing staff in all areas including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and the rehab!

I came to South Port Square after having my 7th major lumbar spine surgery. It was my first time being sent to rehab after surgery. To say the least, I came in here with a terrible attitude just not wanting to have to do rehab! The staff at South Port VERY quickly changed my mind! What an amazingly caring, loving and positive staff!! I have been here about a week. Today is discharge day and I am very happy to be going home. But I am also a bit sad! That is a HUGE testiment to the people I have met and come to truly care about here at South Port!! I would recommend them to absolutely anyone as long as I knew whoever I was recommending was realistic and would treat the staff with respect!! 10 out of 5 stars without question!!

South Port is truly a blessing to my family, the staff is truly caring and provides great care! I am thankful to have my parents in a safe, nurturing assisted living that feels like home for them!

I feel so blessed to have had my parents stay at South Port Square. The staff became like family to me. I was in Ohio and could only get there twice a year. When my dad was dying they treated him like a king and made his passing as peaceful as possible. I highly recommend it! It was a God send for me to know how well cared for my parents were.

My 93 year old father has has been living at Southport for 5+ years. He started in independent living , then assisted living and has now moved to Memory Care. I had sent this note to the directors of the center and am posting it here. I just want to let you all know how grateful we are for the wonderful care and attention Rho in memory care is providing our father. We were so worried about his transition to downstairs and after seeing the unit and meeting Rho we are satisfied he is in the right place. Rho has been texting us and providing us with pictures and video so we can see how he is doing on a regular basis. We asked Rho to try to do a birthday celebration for him and she got a beautiful cake, balloons and sent us the video of everyone singing happy birthday to him. Rho is a treasure and we just wanted to share our experience with her. Such a wonderful person, caring, kind and professional.

Best decision we ever made to move here. The social life is fantastic, especially events organized by Smita Shinde the SPA & Fitness Center Campus Director. A wonderful lady with a brilliant mind. She is an expert with new computer technology's and can help you in many ways. The residents are wonderful people too.

I am starting my 16th year at South Port Square. The staff have all been caring, personal and wonderful. We definitely are the Ritz Carlton of the industry. Yes, we still complain! But we are OLD!!

My dad was in the rehab center for a short amount of time. The care and concern of the staff were fabulous and there were plenty of activities for him to enjoy.

My Mom has lived in an Independent Living apartment for the last couple of years. As her health began to decline, we were able to add an array of personalized living options so she could stay in her same place. Now that she's decided to move over to the Assisted Living building, they can better coordinate her healthcare, and she can even bring her cat to the new apartment. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are great. I couldn't say more about all of us having peace of mind living so far away. I would definitely recommend SPS for your loved ones.

My father has has a very positive experience in the ALF portion of South Port. As a family member, I can report being contacted promptly when any concerns have arisen. My sister and I looked at facilities available in the Punta Gorda area when we were trying to find the best situation for our dad, and nothing compared to South Port.

My father in law is a resident-we love visiting!! Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff, superb dining...haven't met a resident yet who doesn't love it there! We believe it is built on the Fountain of Youth as everyone is so active!!
