I have been living at Five Star Premier Residence of Pompano for the past 5 years and my experience here has been incredible. There are many things that make this place my home but most importantly the relationships that I've built over the years. The staff here goes above and beyond to make sure all my needs are met. Rocsana is our Executive Director, but she is much more than that. Over the pass 5 years that my wife and I have lived here she has successfully helped us through any and everything that I needed. I am very active within our community helping to make sure not only myself but everyone that is living here feels welcome.

I became Food Committee chairman in June 2022 I believe my background in Food Services guided some of the positive changes we have made in our dining room. My wife and I enjoy living here and attending the entertainment. There are a lot of wonderful activities to choose. We enjoy our dining experience. We looked at many different places but nothing compared to Five Star. We have no problem recommending Five Star Premier Residence of Pompano Beach. Nothing is perfect. It’s all how you respond to the situation.

My wife and I have lived in Five Star Premier Residence of Pompano Beach for almost 5 years. Our experience has been Five Star all the way with the exception of a 10 plus month failed experiment with Compass, an outside contract dining service. Notwithstanding, a resent resident’s very low rating based on a single meal is both not accurate and frankly unfair. Overall our community provides gracious, safe, clean and comfortable living of the first order. Our professional, responsive and caring staff is unmatched. Now that Compass is phasing out the dining room is showing improvement daily. I can’t imagine a better place for us to reside. Don Ingram

I have been living at Five Star for over four years and I must say it is an outstanding senior community. I enjoy walking around and seeing everyone’s smiling faces. All of the staff members are very kind and helpful. I’m so in love with my view from my balcony. I enjoy sitting out on my balcony with a cup of coffee looking out at the ocean to the east and the waterway to the west. My son often calls me to lookout at the waterway as he is sealing by on his yacht.

I have lived in Florida since 1963. Married for 10 years, then worked for an orthopedic surgeon for 18 years. Needing a change was offered a summer job managing an Inn on Cape Cod for seven summers. After seven summers decided to stay home and another orthopedic surgeon needed help and asked if I would manage his office. That’s when I first heard about 5 Star, bringing many a patient home after an appointment and never an unkind word was spoken, everyone quite happy with there home. Twenty years later after I had been retired and having no immediate family left, I started researching different retirement communities. None of them measured up to 5 Star. More expensive, NO beautiful ocean views, NO balconies off each unit, NO wonderful dining room with an ocean view, NO physical therapy and food was good except for Covid hitting the country, making many items scarce from time to time giving our chef’s and on going challenge. I’m now here 2 years, still no complaints and will probably be here until God takes me home.

My father lived at Five Star Premier Residences of Pompano Beach until he passed away at the age of 95 in December, 2019. My family could not have wished for a better place for him to be for his last remaining time. He was surrounded by an awesome staff who were kind, compassionate and competent people you would want a loved one to be with.Five Star is a top quality operation. Clean and efficient is their trademark and if you are looking for a place to care for a loved one, I would highly recommend Five Star Premier of Pompano Beach. Truly a first rate establishment.

My father lived at Five Star in Pompano Beach for three years until he passed away at the age of 98 in March. I couldnt have wished for a better place for him to be! He was surrounded by the kindest, most compassionate people you would ever want a loved one to be around. He enjoyed living there so much that after his first year, his cousin moved in to the building!The food is delicious, and theres always something to do - activities both in the building as well as off campus. The staff is exceptional and takes an interest in every one of the residents. And their families! I was always greeted warmly whenever I visited, and Im happy to be able to continue to see everyone when I visit my cousin. Its an amazing place, and Im so happy I found it! We looked at a great many facilities, and this one was far and away the best!

My father in law lived here for three years, up until the day he passed. We could not have chosen a better place for his final years! Five Star met every expectation with the quality of food, cleanliness of the building, professionalism of the management, and compassion of the staff. He always felt as if his opinion mattered, and we were convinced Five Star not only added to his quality of life, but extended it as well. It is in a fabulous location, with spectacular views from most apartments, and certainly from the dining room. We, as family, always felt welcome, and would highly recommend Five Star to anyone.
