My mother used to live at The Five Star Premier.Now my father needs an assisted living ,while I did not know where he was going I knew he was not going to Five Star.The reason is that this place really needs to improve not only basic but important areas. The kitchen, most of the time they will bring what my mother did not order ,that is why they give you menu .The needs to improve. The cleaning ,it was hard to tell if they came to clean. Among other things you need patience to work with older people ,that is why they need to hire train people or train them. Only a few did a good job. At least the tall lady and the young girl that work at the front desk were nice ,cordial and very important they will greet you with a smile, and willing to help.

We have worked along with five star premier residence in plantation for little more than 10 years. This community is one of the BEST facility we treat their residents (we go to several ones). All staff truly care about their residents and they provide the best care. The staff treats their residents as if they were family, They provide dignity and support to them. Can not recommend a place more highly. Take a tour and meet the staff. They are fantastic! The facility is very nice and clean, and very well maintained. Perfect place for your loved one needing additional care.

The management and staff at Five Star Premier Residences are outstanding. Their commitment to the care and safety of all of their residents exceeds expectations. My mother, a resident in indepedent living, cant stop raving about the personal attention she receives, the safely distanced or virtual entertainment theyve provided during this Covid-19 crisis, and the care and concern that is evident daily. We are exceedingly grateful our mom found a home at Five Star.

Amazing Place and Amazing People. Dad loved it here. Its the people that make the difference and I am so glad I found this place. He was here a year before he passed at 84 and was very happy. He loved going downstairs for dinner and loved the team at the front desk, office. Everyone was very helpful. I am grateful that dad had a wonderful environment during his last days.

Our family is greatful to all the staff for the great care our mother has received during these trying Covid months. It has not been easy for anyone, but imagine how delighted we were when someone from dinning realized our mother had only ordered soup 2 nights in a row for dinner. She went to Moms apartment to see if she was ill. We are very confident that we chose the right place for mom and besides , she keeps telling us she loves her life there! Five Star staff are very professional and try their best to be accommodating to residents. The nursing staff is very organized and have helped me with my mothers appt which were a significant time consuming task. They have done a nice job in coordinating the Dr Appt and the care taker needs that my mother has which is very time consuming. The facility staff is also extremely nice, professional and very responsive. When my mother was no longer able to walk the distance from her apt to the lobby - they were very accommodating or we would have had to move her to another apartment- so great job in listening to their residents and the family. If there is a problem in the apt it is fixed immediately- and that is very important and one of the reasons for having my mother there. Maria, Patty and David are all very efficient in managing the facility and when you are leaving your parents - it is nice to know that they are safe. The facilities are clean and very nice. The apartments are cleaned weekly- I cant comment on how good a job they do - however it is an important perk as my mom could not clean the apt herself. A couple of areas for important 1. Lighting in the elevators is very poor. The residents are all over 70 and eyesight is always Diminshed in the majority of patients. Improved lighting in the Hallways and elevator would be a good improvement 2. While the dining room is lovely and white glove service as staff is nice - the residents and my mom have said the food is not appetizing. This is unfortunate as the dinners provide a good opportunity for socializing. 3. Having a Fun Coordinator that gets residents out of their apt would be nice for those residents that are shy. Having a buddy system when someone comes to the facility would make adjustment easier and think this would have been an added benefit for my mom who is shy. I am happy with our decision and know this is an important decision- so being able to reach out and have someone help you - and take care of Mom when you are not able to do so immediately is immensely helpful. Most impressive has been the depth of dedication and and attentiveness demonstrated by each and every staff member. Knowing that staff members truly are in touch with and watching over all residences gave me the ultimate comfort in knowing that my mother was in a safe and caring residence. My mother moved in over a week ago and she is so happy here! She is 82 years old and very active. She is really enjoying socializing and participating in all of the fun activities on the schedule like the biweekly happy hour before dinner, bingo, cards, movies, excursions, yoga, and live singing,dancing. She is also enjoying the breakfast and dinner meals so far. My Mother is so much more social and outgoing! Even though she doesnt speak English She expresses how secure she feels and how much she loves those around her. The STAFF is above what you would ever dream of. Each resident has an individual apartment, and they have someone come by and clean the rooms once a week. It is truly wonderful to know she doesnt have to cook or clean anymore, as she worked very hard all her life. Now is the time to sit back, relax, make new friends, and just enjoy life! We are so happy knowing my mother is in such good hands. This wonderful team deserves 5 STARS!
