I had my mom in another assisted living place that I was not happy with at all. I had been looking for a new location for my mom and was given a few locations. Just like any son I want to make sure I made the right decision this time. I had checked a few locations but was not comfortable with them. When I walk in the front door of The Peninsula in Hollywood, FL was greeted right away with a smile at the front desk. I explain that I was looking for a place for my mom. She took me down to the sales office. As I was walking to the sales office, I notice that everything was very clean and organized. The sales team greeted me and I explain to them my concerns about the place where my mom was at now. They took me on a tour and showed me where they sleep, eat, play bingo watched movies, sing, get haircuts, etc. I was amazed at how clean the place was and it smelled clean. I went home got my wife and pick up my mom to show them the place and both of them fell in love with the place and the amazing staff. My wife called it a resort. My mom has been there for over two months and she is so happy there. Now when I call her to see if she wants to come to my house to visit I have to work around her busy schedule but I’m happy that she is happy!!! The Staff and sales team are so professional and caring people at The Peninsula in Hollywood, FL. Thanks for everything you do!!

So having spent over a year looking for somewhere to put my sister, between her boyfriend and my self we visited over 60 different facilities that had memory care. I could not be happier, I am a hands on person and prior to COVID I would visit my sister at least once every 60 days. And I live over 1,300 miles away. And I felt that she was in great hands during COVID-19. I have to say that Janice Thomas who has been a great point person in the beginning and has been a Rock Star during the months we have not been there to visit!I never give great reviews but I could not be more satisfied with where we ended up placing my sister...in my life I could never imagine to finding somewhere to have to put my sister. And it is the people who make the place and from the sales process (Barbra) AMD the day in and out care (Janice) make me know we made the right choice!

My father Harry moved in to the Peninsula a few months ago and he is very happy. We worked directly with Barbara Krams who is one of the reasons we chose for him to be there. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the facility, available when I had questions, and took care of the entire process including getting all the medical paperwork in. I am 100% confident in knowing my Dad is being treated as family.

Until recently this was one of the only facilities of this kind with no residents affected by COVID-19. My mother has been a resident for five years. She is still COVID-19 negative. Although I dont like the idea that we cannot visit I understand the reasoning. I hope that in the not too distant future there will be a way for us to visit, but that depends on the Governor and the Broward mayor. Since Meridian took over before the Pandemic there were noticeable update being done to the lobby and other common areas. I hope this continues once we can go to our new normal.

I cant say enough about the staff and the care my mother received. There was a sense of genuine caring and concern for her and her well being. I always felt she was safe and cared for. From the Administrator on down everyone was attentive and kind. This is truly a caring place for your loved ones.

Ive always felt privileged to work at this place. It is a very nice place to work. The management team Susan, Alexa, Hahnen... are nice and co-worker very helpful. Residents receive the most extensive care to be comfortable and safe. Clean room. Delicious food. A lot of fun in the theater...I would highly recommended this assisted living to place your loved ones!

My brother Scott and are very thankful to know that our Mom is receiving such good care. This is a great facility and located very accessible to us as well. We are so appreciative especially of the on-going support we get from Barbara Krams. She is so caring and understanding. It makes a difference when you can count on people to help in such difficult situations.

My dad has been living in the memory care unit at the Peninsula. The staff are all wonderful and take very good care of my dad. What has really made me very happy is that my mom is now moving in to stay with my dad, although she really doesnt need to be in the memory care unit it is so important and nice for them to be able to be together again after 3 years. Barbara has gone above and beyond to make this happy, and has made the entire process so simple. She even put together a little love picture for my dad to sign and give it to my mom tomorrow. I would definitely recommend the Peninsula to anyone who needs memorial care or even the ALF side

Thank you so much! Our Mommy has been here for several years and the Peninsula has been a Godsend. Thank you for the quality of care you provide. She began in a private room and was transferred a few years later to the Memory Care Unit, where she has happily been for about 5 years - and I must point out Janice who runs the the unit - these residents are more challenging to take care of than the rest of The Peninsula - she does it with efficiency and is so caring.....plus she dances to perk the residents up! They love it! Kudos to the Peninsula for having this wonderful soul on your team! And shes always cheerful- really!

Just gotta say, they do a very good job. Place is clean, staff is consistently warm and wants to make sure the family is comfortable. The residents, including my mom, are generally pleased with the culture, the asthetic, but importantly, the staff. RIP mommy and thanks, Peninsula for being a positive part of her passing.

As a first responder, paramedic for 25 years I have responded to hundreds of assisted living facilities in the area. Well, as fate would have it, my elderly mother would need the services of an ALF.After much research we decided on the peninsula and it was a home run. From the executive staff to the maintenance staff they were excellent. They have tons of activities and truly engage the residents. The facility is clean, safe and caring. They provide housekeeping, laundry, medication compliance, three meals a day to name a few.Unfortunately my mother recently passed away and we are now making arrangements for my aging father to move in to the peninsula community.No facility is perfect but I give this facility 5 stars.

My mom has been in the Peninsula for 2 years, and she and our family have been very happy with the care she has received. While not every Facility is going to be Perfect, its important that Residents are treated with kindness and compassion. Whenever I visit, which is quite often, Ive noticed the staff and residents to be engaged with activities, in a clean environment.Administration, Activity, Nursing staff keep up the good work.
