Grand Villas of NPR has been a true godsend for me and my family. My mother in-law was diagnosed with cancer about 6 months ago and we needed to bring her down to Florida for treatment and to be close to family. We were lost! We had no idea what to do, where to go, or how we would manage! I started looking online. The Blessing started with A Place for Mom. They recommended GV so I went for a tour with Jamie the head nurse on the memory side who happened to be on call that Saturday……my tour with her solidified that I wanted them and for her to move there. The question was how? I then made contact with Jeff and then Tiffany and now mom is safely residing at GV in a nice little studio. GV is heads above any other ALF I have come in contact with on our journey. It has unlimited activities, good food, a great hair salon, and even in-house Mass weekly. I did tour quite a few but GV was the one! When you walk in the door it just feels like home and home is where we wanted mom. Thank You GV 🙂

Beautiful like a fine hotel! Even a mini fridge in every room! My brother was treated like royalty when he arrived and his room is beautiful. Staff is all kind and friendly, though sometimes hard to track down for services. Biggest drawback is no phones in rooms so it's difficult to reach him. We are very pleased with Grand Villa of New Port Richey. Our mother has been a resident there for over a year. The staff is superb and friendly. It is clean and we feel Mom is very well taken care of. If we have a special request, the facility tries its best to accommodate. The activities are well organized and seasonally appropriate. The activities director is very enthusiastic and is encouraging to the residents. She attempts to get all residents involved and excited in the activities. This is very important as to the socialization and well being of the residents. The nursing staff is attentive to the resident's health and technicians that administer the resident's medication and other individual and personal duties do an excellent job. I would recommend anyone that is looking to place their loved one in an ALF to consider Grand Villa.

A little concerned about the patient lock down. Our friend was getting a bit upset because he lost human contact with others, the food was cold, didn't taste as eating in the dining room. I think the loss of the human contact is crucial in the welfare and good health of the residents. If masks are optional tha have everyone wear masks.

Upon entering Grand Villa New Port Richey, we were impressed with how bright and open it felt. My mother-in-law has been at this facility for several years now. She selected this facility when she decided it was time to move into assisted living. She now is in memory care. The rooms are very large for each of the residents. The facility is so clean and fresh smelling. Many activities are available for the residents to participate in and encouraged to join. Meals were wonderful and each of the residents were asked in the memory unit, what they would like to eat of the meals that were available. Since we live out in California we have worked with the Director Misty many, many times. She is wonderful to work with. She has on many occasions been our mom's best advocate. We can't thank her enough for all she has done. So if you have a loved one that needs assisted living or memory care I would recommend you check Grand Villa New Port Richey. They treat their residents with respect and dignity.

My Mom moved to Grand Villa a number of years ago when she could no longer live independently. Grand Villa has done a wonderful job of caring for her and increasing her care level as she gradually needed more assistance in her day-to-day care. She is now a resident at their memory care unit and quite happy there ... and I can understand why given how dedicated, patient and caring every staff member is in attending to her and her coresidents. ... it's way above and beyond. From my point of view, Grand Villa needs to change their sign that they have outside their entrance. Instead of saying "Heros Work Here", it really should say "Saints Work Here". Again, thank you for all you do in taking such great care of Mom!

I had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. Jeff Beckman (the leasing coordinator) for Grand Villa Today. I had no idea what I was in for as this is my first experience trying to find adequate housing within an assisted living community for a friend. I had a misconception about these types of facilities because like so many other things, we tend to listen to others as well as the media. I walked into such an amazing place that I must tell others about it for their family members as well as for themselves. This place was like going to a Disney resort hotel (I have been to those) . the place was bustling with tenants everywhere, but not overwhelming. Upon entering in the foyer sat a lovely lady with her cotton hair sitting with a family and I was greeted with a smile. My daughter who went with me for support noticed that on a welcoming Easel written was my name underlined by the name of the person for which I inquired for. The receptionist greeted us and took us over to the check in portal which was Top of the line Century technology. The equipment had a Covid interview and then get this the facial recognition and the no touch contraption took our temperatures and we were cleared for our tour. We Sat down and our Host immediately came out with a smile. Let me tell you how amazing he was. He described all the great amenities and features in their community and off-course a sales man always wants to make a sale... Our host Jeff Beckman was right to boast! He was extremely informative , took focuse on the need of my friend and provided me with so much information to guide me that I finally felt like I could face this challenge of finding a good place for my 85 year old friend. After the interview for tenant assessment we discussed price and accommodations and then went on to take our tour. I thought i was going on a walk around a medical /hospital / elderly dark gloomy place but it was the complete opposite. The restaurant on site actually serves 3 meals a day. The Tenants, get to sit in a setting much like a restaurant with Waiters that actually take their order and serve it to them at a table. WOW!! There is a theater room with a popcorn machine. There's a bingo room and tonight there was a game going on when we walked through, and to my surprise there was not one chair empty. There's a 24-hour coffee shop and an outdoor sitting patio with beautiful flowers and the view is great! Lots of beautiful oak trees swaying in the wind and the sound of birds chirping. This Place didn't have the feel of an assisted living. It felt like home. The Studios are just magnificent. It's the kind of place you can downsize into and still have the space and accommodations that make you feel at home. There's not much to think after being in a setting where you know your family member or friend will be well cared for and in safe community with great neighbors and great things to do. I left with the feeling of "THIS IS THE PLACE"! I plan on making this the place for my friend. They care about what they are doing there to make the elderly keep their feeling of being a person that deserves nothing but the best. THANKS, JEFF, FOR THE GRAND TOUR AND FOR ALL YOU DID TODAY TO MAKE US FEEL WELCOMED, I TRULY FELL IN LOVE WITH GRAND VILLA

Loved everything about this "Retirement Community." Great extra curricular activities. First floor, beautiful lobby, main dining room, cafe and outside smoking area. 2nd level is for memory facility (no access without special access), 3rd level is the game room, 4th level is the movie room and library, 5th level has a pool table, shuffle board. Very high tech environment with lots of safety controls including facial recognition, cameras everywhere in common areas, medicine technology with a high degree of accuracy. They have 2 adorable bunnies. There is longevity of caregivers. Staff knows every resident. Have a generator in the event power goes out. They are in a flood zone but if necessary, they evacuate all residents to another community owned by same organization. They have happy hour 2x's / month (beer and wine only). Roberta (Executive Director) showed us around. She was a delight!!!! Her assistant, Naz, was so outgoing. The receptionist, Kathy (?) was extremely helpful and pleasant. Wade, maintenance director, very young, friendly and very outgoing! Great team!! Residents were all happy and friendly which was a key component for us in making a decision. We visited 5 facilities and this was our #1 choice.

Im very happy to have my mom living here.. the building is filled with Good vibes, great staff and happy residents. My mom came from another assisted living that was beautiful but the staff was overworked underpaid and didnt care and that reflected on my moms care... So Im extremely happy to have her here.. the staff is also great with giving medication and overall care for the residents!! The residents are always busy with fun activities and great meals.. and the bunnies... The bunnies are one of my moms favorites.. they love to be held and the residents love holding them ❤❤❤

We were helping my father with dealing with this whole process from out of state and Roberta was right on top of all of our questions and concerns. My mother, Marge has been at Grand Villa of New Port Richey for a little over 2 years now. Her husband was unable to care for her in her beginning stages of dementia, so her health was starting to diminish due to the fact that she wasnt taking her meds consistently and was constantly cooped up inside - not getting fresh air and sunshine, and not socializing at all. Shortly after moving in to the Villa, I starting seeing a remarkable change in her. She looked better, was feeling better and was coming back to the smiling, social person I always knew her to be. She has made many friends, and loves the people that work there (always joking with them). I also have to gave the facility a BIG hand for the spectacular job they have done through this whole pandemic!! When other nursing and long care facilities were in the news with record numbers of cases (and deaths), Grand Villa of NPR had none for months, and since then has only had 2 (one being a new resident that was only there a day before he was whisked away to a medical facility). Plus, all the facetime calls theyve been doing so we can stay in touch during this pandemic have been wonderful!! Thank you so much, you are all AWESOME!!! Donna

I have read some of the negative reviews and was surprised. My mother lived at the grand villa for over a year and my experience had been very positive. My mom was not in the memory care section so I cant comment on memory care. However, my mom did require a lot of help and attention. She spent her last days at grand villa where hospice was brought in. The staff at grand villa was so caring, helpful and compassionate. I cant say enough about the care she received from everyone at the grand villa. They were the best. Hospice was a nightmare. The staff not only did everything they could to make my mom as comfortable as possible but made sure I ate and had whatever we needed. God bless the staff at grand villa. Before my mother become critical, I visited minimum of five days a week and spent quite some time during each visit. I was never disappointed in the care and the dedication of the majority of the workers. If I had any issues, they were immediately addressed and rectified. My mom enjoyed the activities and food was good

I just love this place. Both my Grandma and great Aunt live here. I always enjoy my visits. This home is kept clean, the staff is super awesome and the residents are always happy. Oh and the food is great too. There is always something fun going on, someone to meet or talk too and I am so happy both my family members have such a great caring place to live in . From activities to pets this is one great assisted living! They have been especially diligent during covid-19. I was even able to do facetime with them , Thanks Susan!!! Great job to all!

My mother has been residing at this apartment for over 3 years and my mother, my family, and I have all been very pleased with the care they provide for my mother. They are very clean at all times. Very comfortable and upscale atmosphere. My mother enjoys the many activities provided throughout the day and everyday. Staff is extremely helpful and readily available. I enjoy my mother staying there and have no worries for her ever!

I took a tour today and was impressed by how happy the residents were and how caring the staff was. Everything was clean and the rooms are bright with plenty of storage. There is a generator that runs the whole building in case of a power outage. The memory Care unit looks very safe and there were plenty of staff everywhere in the building. Nice activity menu also. Plenty of choices.

We moved Mom here 4 months ago, she has Alzheimer's and is on the memory care floor. We couldn't be happier and she is happy also. So many activities for her to participate in- words games, bingo, physical exercises, sing along, outings. She is a social person, so it is a perfect fit. Grand Villa is always open for family and friends to visit, eat with residents, take them out. All the staff is wonderful, but I have to mention Rob the super memory care program specialist- always cheerful , responsive and gets everyone involved!

We visited Grand Villa of New Port Richey for Assisted Living for my dad. The representative, Barbara, was wonderful and very thorough. . Staff was friendly and , welcoming wherever we were in the facility. Activities snd recreational amenities were great. The food was very good. We talked to some of the residents. They were very happy. Price is reasonable. This facility is definitely on top of our list for consideration.

It was a very difficult decision for me to put my 100 year- old mother in an assisted living facility. I searched and searched and luckily found the grand villa of new port Richey. I have nothing but praise for the staff. They are caring, attentive and compassionate. Meals are very good. I’m there at least three to four times a week and the place amazes me. They have a variety of activities, such as bingo, movies, cards, jewelry making, outings, to name just a few. I am so pleased and grateful in knowing that my mother is receiving excellent and compassionate care.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Grand Villa. The cleaning staff run by Sammie Cushman is always there when you need them. The nursing staff and techs are always smiling and go above and beyond to help out. Eric is one that stands out ! Winnie is another worker (not sure of her title) that always seems to be helping my dad. Kevin the maintenance man is another one my father speaks highly of. So happy we chose Grand Villa for my father's care.

I am not sure where to begin my review because I have nothing but high praise for Grand Villa and the entire staff, they are fabulous. In February of 2019 we made the hard decision to move my 93 year old mom to assisted living. My wife and I visited many facilities and felt that Grand Villa was the best long term fit. Although mom was not happy about the move she quickly got accustom to her new home. She made friends, participated in activities and most importantly was safe. Within a few days every staff member knew her name and were so friendly and caring to her. In April she had a medical set back, she spent several days in the hospital and a few weeks in a skilled nursing facility. During her time away from Grand Villa the director and senior staff took the time to visit her and advocated for her return. Upon returning to Grand Villa the staff worked hard to help her fully recover. Given her cognitive challenges the staff help me make the harder decision to move her to the memory care floor. It has been several weeks now and just as the staff had assured me my mom is doing much better. She is receiving the appropriate care that has resulted in a higher quality of life. Our family rests easy each day knowing that our mom is being cared for by compassionate loving people and that she is living the final chapter of her life with dignity.

To anyone making a list of places to see for your loved one please put the grand villa at the top of your list! I did visit some but from the minute I walked into the grand villa I just knew it was the right place for mom. Such a warm and homey place. I have nothing but praise for every staff member. Amanda made it so easy to get mom set up! She is warm kind and most of all caring. I just love the dining room and the food is out of this world. I have never seen so many choices. So many activities going on all the time. Also love the hair salon. There is so much more I could say but you should really go see for yourself. You will definitely not be disappointed.
