The recent hurricane and my distance from Naples have limited my in- person involvement with the staff at Barrington of Naples but their attention to my wife has been outstanding. I have been kept informed of her condition on a daily basis and at a recent visit saw the staff's personal concern for her well-being.

Very recently my brother and I were faced with the difficult task to place our 96 yr old mother into assisted living, after living independently for her entire life. Barrington Terrace was our place of choice. The warm and friendly staff and bright surroundings provided a comfort of home inviting atmosphere. The marketing and nursing team went over and beyond in welcoming mom to her new home. What we thought to be a difficult transition for mom, has turned out to be the very Best Choice for mom's physical and emotional well-being. Thank you Barrington Terrace of Naples for giving us the reassurance of knowing our mom is being cared for with kindness and dignity by the entire staff!

Staff made it quite easy to seamlessly move my uncle to The Barrington Terrace from The Preserve Of Palm Aire (both Arbor properties). From nurses communicating prior to move to assess needs to medications send psychologist assistance they were super. The staff has been doting on Ted from meals l and exercise classes to reassurances that everything will be ok has helped him transition to this new home. We are all grateful.

From the minute I walked in to tour Barrington Terrace for my Mom, I felt good about the place. The day my Mom checked in I was so pleased to see how kind and welcoming everyone was to her. Mom was very hesitant about going to an assisted living facility. However, her first words once she arrived were ‘this place is beautiful’ and ‘everyone is so nice to me’. She also loves the food. The staff is extremely well trained, competent and professional. Kindness and compassion can be seen in everyone. Thank you!

When the time came to relocate our 94 year old Mother from Pittsburgh we had many choices for a new home and assisted living community. Thank goodness we found and chose Barrington. Ann C was outstanding in providing us the necessary insights on Barrington and assuring us this was the right decision for our Mother. Linda A, the Director of Nursing continued to confirm this decision as she welcomed our family into the community. We recently visited Barrington Terrace in Naples Florida with the purpose of a family member becoming a resident. We were pleasantly surprised by the knowledge, experience and concern the staff displayed for our needs. The facility is clean, bright and full of life. The staff is engaging, knowledgeable and caring. We were treated to some homemade chocolates made by their 5 star head chef. Very satisfying experience and would highly recommend reaching out to Ann Crandell for a personal tour, she was amazing.

My mother has been a resident at Barrington Terrace for several years, and during this time I have visited the facility on a nearly weekly basis. The high level of medical care she has received at Barrington has only been exceeded by the quality of the relationships we have enjoyed with Staff. I am impressed with Barringtons genuine commitment to the care and treatment of the whole person, and I am grateful that my mother has been able to spend these important years of her life in such a nurturing, caring and peaceful place.

We visited Barrington Terrace this week for a tour while looking for a suitable location for a family member. Sommer did an excellent job demonstrating why Barrington is known for the empathetic and dignified care they provide to those who need a little extra help. The facility is warm and friendly, with all of the staff greeting us with a smile. The head of the dining room stopped by to chat and told us all about the dining options, and we saw several activities in action. Several residents stopped to give us unsolicited testimonials. Sommer listened carefully and was empathetic, respectful, but also confident and extremely knowledgeable about everything Barrington Terrace has to offer. Thank you again for a great visit, and for answering our questions as we talk about our next steps!

My mom had a stroke in 2016 and a year later needed to make a decision of where she would go to live for the remainder of her life. Cognitively she is 100%, her deficit is that she loss use of her left side being unable to walk, or use her left arm, she now needed an assisted living with 24-7 nursing and caregiver services. Being a registered nurse myself and have entered most of the facilities in the Collier county area for my job, I knew what I was looking for and what my mom Needed. Honestly, the only facility appointment that was made for my mom to tour was Barrington Terrace, I fell in love with Barrington from the first patient I had to visit there as a hospice nurse, the staff is unparalleled, caring, loving and they really treat residents as family. They had already convinced me now they needed to wow my mom, she is a perfectionist, in her appearance and also how she kept her home so if Barrington passed her test then I knew it was the best. She moved in June 2017 and has been there ever since. Please before choosing an ALF for your family, go to Barrington Terrace and take a tour, I promise, you wont be disappointed and your search will be over, you will have found you mom-dads forever home.

My husband and I have visited Barrington Terrace many times. My husbands mother resided there for a significant time and received exemplary care by all care providers and services. He was extremely appreciative for their care. Ann Crandall and Tammy DeCaro have been extremely helpful in navigating a plan for my mother. They have met and communicated with me many times. Difficult questions have been asked and answered to help me meet my mothers and familys needs. They have been generous with sharing information and offered support during this sensitive time. Im confident of their commitment to providing a caring environment and professional services at Barrington Terrace.

I recently toured Barrington Terrace. What a wonderful experience. The facility is beautiful, clean and inviting. The dining room looked like a five star restaurant, where you order from a menu with many delicious choices, and even has a chef. The director, Sommer, was very gracious and extremely helpful. She spent a great deal of time with me helping me through a painful process. Unfortunately, the family member was unable to reside there due to more failing health problems. I highly recommend Barrington Terrace for an assisted living lifestyle.

It was very difficult to move my mother who is 94 years old to a Nursing Home. I visited several facilities and decided on Barrington Terrace. I am so thankful that I chose Barrington Terrace. My mother is treated wonderfully and so am I. They are very patient with all my questions. The most important thing is that my mother has actually improved. Her attitude and outlook are so much better. I have actually seen her smile and laugh. Before all she did was sit at home and watch TV. Now she gets out and walks the grounds and participates in activities. She even likes the food and she is hard to please. Dementia is a horrible disease but the staff at Barrington handle it very well.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers. After moving mom and dad in this weekend, the staff could not be more accommodating, could not be more friendly, and everything that was done was certainly over and above what could ever be expected. We wholeheartedly recommend Barrington Terrace Fort Myers and every single employee there!! And extra thanks to Brian, Theresa, Shannon and Mindy for the smooth move-in coordination. Barrington Terrace came highly recommended to us but we felt like we won the lottery when we were introduced to Senior Care Specialist Ellen Reilly. She has been our single point of contact throughout Dads transition from home to their facility and we cannot say enough positive things about her which reflects positively on the facility. Shes kind, compassionate, patient, professional and an excellent communicator who has made herself available morning, noon, night and weekends. Barrington Terrace of Naples is and has been clinically expert on every aspect of Dementia Care and Assisted Living milieu. Linda Alvarez memory care director is exceptional in her knowledge and caring for all her residents. Barrington Terrace is so well organized at every level of nursing care and is so very responsive to every residents mental, physical and emotional needs and promoting a state of wellbeing with aging. Barrington Terrace really gets it......its all about nursing care.

Barrington Terrace has a wonderful staff of dedicated, professional and friendly employees. I cant begin to thank everyone individually for all of the care, support, and friendship they have given my uncle. They truly care for the safety and well being of the residents; this was quite evident during the start of and continuance of the COVID crisis. When everyone was quarantined in their apts, the staff went out of their way to keep residents engaged and in communication with their families. My experience is new but most impressive. Barrington was our first choice due to the great floor plan and caring staff. Mom is blind and learning to get around a new home was especially important to her. It has only been six months since Mom has taken up residence. Yet all but her first week, has been during the Covid Pandemic and social distancing has continually been in place. So, our family has not been able to be there in person, to help her acclimate. But our new thoughtful and caring Barrington family has stepped up to help acquaint Mom with her new surroundings. They also assist her in walks outside and have arranged drive-up visits. The Barrington family goes above and beyond every day. I have not had the chance to meet everyone yet. But the ones that I have met have a special place in my heart. Tammy, Sommer, Ellen, Linda, Dana, Kat, JoJo, Phyllis, Julie and Christine are just some who have gone above and beyond. I cannot wait until visitation is open, so I get to know more of our wonderful new family. Thank You Barrington!

There is not enough space to begin to explain what a wonderful facility Barrington Terrace is, my mother has been a resident since 2017 and I can not explain or tell you how wonderful they all are, from Tammy the executive director, Phyllis Don, all the nurses, caregivers, and enrichment department etc, as a nurse myself I had access to all the facilities in Collier county and hands down and without any reservation chose Barrington. I can not give them enough accolades and stress how wonderful a facility it is and if you or your loved one went there you would not be disappointed.

If I could give 100 stars on this review, I would. The staff at Barrington Terrace provided exceptional care for my dad, for over eight years. They have an amazing team of professionals that are some of the most friendly, caring and compassionate people I have ever met. On January 19th, my dad passed away. He was 91. The weeks leading up to his death were extremely tough for our family. Yet, the fabulous nurses, CNAs and other staff members were always checking on him, concerned about his comfort as well as mine. After his passing, the staff shared with me the wonderful memories they had of dad, who they fondly called, Uncle Jack. Hearing the things they remembered about him made my heart so happy. The extraordinary care that the staff provides starts with the management team, lead by Tammy DeCaro. Thank you to the entire Barrington Terrace of Naples staff. I will miss my visits to BT every week, but please know that you will forever be in my heart.

Quite a bit of planning, deliberating, and research went into making the decision for Mom to move into Barrington Terrace. I visited a few assisted living facilities in the Naples area before committing to Barrington. This decision-making process took over a year and a half. No pressure was placed on me to move Mom into the facility, but I'd receive follow-up calls periodically from my contact person there who was checking on Mom, me, and where we were in this process. Barrington Terrace is a lively, active, and caring facility, and one can experience those attributes in all of the staff. The first couple days after Mom moved in, it was tough, but soon Mom was doing all kinds of thingsthere's rarely a dull moment there! After about 2 weeks I actually had a smile on my face; Mom seemed content and happy. I'm still smiling.

Thanks to the sage advice of Bennet Balmer from A Place for Mom, Barrington Terrace was the first facility that I checked. It was perfect! From the open and cheery entrance, to the welcoming and friendly staff, Barrington Terrace was the perfect choice. They put thought into every decision. Dad gets so many visitors because the environment is so pleasant that it is a positive experience. The food is good and is properly prepared. They offer choices at every meal. They come for the residents for each activity. The staff takes the time to get to know not only the residents, but the family. What a relief it is to know that Dad is getting properly cared for. Thank you all!

My dad, Clyde Cameron lives there and has for a year. They are fantastic with him and he is very happy and loves it there. I have had experience with another assisted living that my mother in law was in here in Naples and there is no comparison. Everyone that works there are always so upbeat and seem happy. He is 94 and I honestly feel this has added to his life and my peace of mind.

My Father-in-law was there for 3 years. We were very happy with his care and with all the many activities available. He was not a participator, but was there to see that they were enjoyed by most. They have entertainment all the time, Sunday being the day were able to be a part of of that entertainment. I cannot say enough about the staff. They ALL made him feel at home. Very attentive and helpful. We could not have felt more secure having him there.

Everyone who cared for my mother during the three years she lived at Barrington Terrace exhibited the utmost caring and professionalism. They were always responsive to calls from her family and her welfare was their constant concern. My Mom was very active and happy during the last three years of her life and her family is very grateful for the amazing staff.

Oustanding in every way. They do everything right when it comes to access, communication, customer service, and quality. They make those living under their care and watchful eye, feel safe, secure, and loved. From my very first encounter several years ago when my Dad was transitioned to Barrington Terrace of Naples, there was something unique and amazing about everyone who worked there from the aids, housekeepers, nursing, and the administration. My Dad had failed to thrive in past but with Barrington Terrace of Naples he bounced back and has been doing as well as one can expect with his condition. Compassionate and caring staff make all the difference in the world. My Mom was also cared for by Barrington Terrace of Naples and everything they did to help her transition was perfect. Working in healthcare myself, I see many different expressions of what people consider assisted living and this is hands down the best I have seen.

Our mother lived at Barrington Terrace for about 3 1/2 years. During that time she first lived independently, then transitioned to the memory care unit as her dementia increased. From move-in to the end, the staff at Barrington treated Margie, and we her family, as residents. When Mom's abilities changed the staff worked with us to understand what was happening and how to cope. When Mom was slipping away from us staff was there to comfort. The day Mom passed there was a steady stream of visitors..staff from all levels came to say goodby to a friend. The people at Barrington Terrace made the the last years of our mother's life good for her, and good for us. Thanks.

Choosing an Assisted Living for your parent or loved one is never easy. All the staff at Barrington are so helpful, caring, and accommodating that we never questioned our choice. The accommodations are lovely, food delicious, and everyone went out of their way to make my Mom feel like she was welcome and with friends. I always knew she was safe and well looked after. Whenever someone is looking for assistance the first name out of my mouth is Barrington Terrace.
