My father was placed in Aston Garden's memory care unit over a year ago and I couldn't be more pleased. This was an emotional decision for our family and the staff walked us through it step by step. Tina, the director literally held my hand and encouraged me that Dad was in the right place and would settle in quickly. She was absolutely right. Tina has become a dear friend to our family and we trust her completely with Dad's care. She knows everyone by name as well as their extended family members. I've spent a great deal of time in the facility visiting my father and he is well taken care of. The residents are out in the living area together and multiple activities occur each day. They eat all their meals together and have plenty of opportunity to socialize. It is a beautiful community and extends to all family members as well. We have met the most amazing people and I will always be grateful to Aston Garden's for creating a space for our family to care for Dad. I would highly recommend it. The Patient/Care Giver ratio is lower than any others in Naples and it shows. Tina runs a tight ship and the help is beyond attentive. We love it there!!! I read the most recent review and have had the complete opposite experience. My dad fell while at home and broke his hip as well. After he went through rehab, they accepted him with no hesitation. Thanks Tina and Aston Gardens Care Givers. The Walton Family is Grateful!!! Crista Walton

I can't say enough good things about Aston Gardens Inn and Memory Care. My mother was in the Inn (Assisted Living) for a couple years and is now in Memory Care there. The staff is very helpful, nice, and attentive to all residents. Each and every day they make it fun and safe for all residents, and always have smiles on their face making it feel like home. You can really tell that the staff is passionate about caring for the residents. It is a huge weight lifted off of the families shoulders knowing that they are properly cared for here. I know it isn't easy managing these types of communities, but the managing staff here is incredible. They really do care, going above and beyond for the residents and families here. My wife and I searched many communities when we first needed to place my mother and by far I would recommend Aston Gardens for your loved ones.

My husband has resided in Memory Care at The Inn for the past fourteen months and we continue to be pleased with the facility, nursing administration, nursing care staff, and most of all, the attentive, professional care he is receiving. He is well cared for, safe in his surroundings and content with his daily activities. He recently celebrated his 83rd birthday and the staff was so accommodating in helping with the party and including the other residents in his celebration. It is very difficult to see a loved one continue to decline in their cognitively and physically ability but it IS comforting to know he is well cared for and in a safe environment.

Everything was beautiful, very good place, the people are very kind

Within this community, there are three distinct parts: Independent Living, which I recommend, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, which I cannot recommend. My mom resided in the community for 7 years, spending 2 years in Independent Living, which was very nice. Recently, all the apartments, clubhouses, and dining rooms have been beautifully renovated. However, managing the community has been challenging, with 4 executive directors in 7 years, though the current one has been in place since Covid. The Assisted Living building, known as the 'Inn' (also housing Memory Care), is chaotic. The care my mom received there was extremely poor, and holding anyone accountable or even reaching management was nearly impossible, especially during weekends and nights. Despite being vigilant about my mom's care, it felt like a constant struggle. While there were a few long-term caregivers who were kind, the turnover, management, and organization were dreadful. After my mom fell and broke her hip, they claimed they couldn't take her back into Memory Care and never followed up to assist us in finding a suitable place for her. No one from Aston Gardens ever reached out when she passed away a month later, which was incredibly disheartening. Really one of the saddest things in my life. Amazingly, Bayshore Memory Care, where my mom spent only a month, showed more compassion and care. Despite my friendly relationship with the assisted living director and wellness director over the years at Aston Gardens, no one acknowledged her passing. No card, phone call, nothing. Only a woman from the front desk and a caregiver reached out. So so disappointing. For those needing memory care, I highly recommend Bayshore Memory Care. Aston Gardens Independent Living is nice. However, I cannot recommend Assisted Living or Memory Care at Aston Gardens due to the disorganization, lack of responsiveness, unprofessionalism, and overall uncaring management. In addition, the revolving door of Activities Directors often led to weeks and months without any activities at all. Residents were left to themselves much of the time and on weekends. The only reason for 2 stars versus 1 is because independent Living is nice and their restaurant is nice. . Very sad and disappointing.

My mother stayed in assisted living for over four years at Ashton Gardens. The food is good, they give you a choice of three options for each meal and the service staff were lovely. The reception staff were also helpful and would help out with tasks. There are a lot of activities for residents like bingo. It is a cost-effective facility compared to a lot that we reviewed. The standard of cleaning was not very good, my mother's dressing tables were covered in dust and she had cash stolen and stuff stolen from her room when she was in the hospital. I frequently had to dust and clean the bathroom when I went round. If you have relatives going there remove cash, credit cards and jewelry or have a draw that can be locked. We chose this facility as there were resident nursing staff. Whenever I passed the nurses' station they were chatting or looking at their phones and seemed to do the minimum. My mother was discharged from the hospital back to Ashton Gardens when she had pneumonia. My sister went to visit and found my mother could hardly talk, was in distress wheezing and her lungs were full of water. She called a doctor and then my mother was taken by ambulance to the hospital and had a stroke the day after. My sister talked to the nurse who claimed to have checked in on my mother one hour earlier, but we suspect that this was a cursory check-up, if it happened at all. Other residents have told me about ringing the emergency button and no staff came and one blind resident had to crawl along the floor till she reached my mother's room. When you give feedback to management, they are slow to respond and it appears that not much is done.

I visited Aston Gardens about 2 weeks ago looking for a place for my mother and really enjoyed my tour. Alyssa Monning was my guide and was an absolute joy to work with. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, & overall great to work with. I visited 7 facilities that week and she really knows her stuff. After all my visits she was the one who followed up the most and really reached out to help me with my decision for my mom. Aston Gardens and Alyssa Monning really have there stuff together. I highly recommend you visit there and make up your own mind.

My aunt has really enjoyed her time at Aston Gardens and generally management has been quite good, but while dropping off some food recently there were three separate residents walking the halls of her independent living building without wearing masks and not properly social distancing. Given the demographics of Aston Gardens, this was so disappointing to see. I am now even more worried about her health given the potential for exposure to careless and inconsiderate neighbors. Management needs to do more before there is an outbreak. If given the choice today, we wouldn't move her into AG until after the pandemic is over.

We love Aston Gardens. The staff, atmosphere and food cant be beat. We recommend this senior living community to anyone contemplating a move to an all inclusive facility.Tom & Marianne Middlemiss

We LOVE Aston Gardens. The staff is attentive and available; the food is delicious and plentiful; and there are more opportunities for fun & education than we have time to enjoy. We have lived here for nearly two years, and it is the most perfect setting. Besides, its a RENTAL with no huge downpayment. We could not ask for more.

Have now lived here 13 months and consider it outstanding. I have one of the 16 Villas. Most of the residents here were high powered managers and chief execs (or their spouses). DInner is like in a high quality country club and very social.

Ann, has been so amazing to our family as we have had to make a difficult decision for our grandmother to be moved into assisted living. She has been so helpful with the transition. The entire staff have made her transition seemless. We even stay some weekend s with her to visit and they have become family too. We can not say enough great things about the environment and staff.
