Miami Jewish Health and the team there have been amazingly helpful for my Dad. He recently completed two weeks at sub acute rehab care there. Jodi and the team in the Toppel South building were incredibly helpful to him and his recovery. Arlynes, Miriam and the entire team at the Hazel Cypen tower have been helpful and supportive through his application process and transition to assisted living. Thank you to all of you.

My experience with Miami Jewish Health Rehabilitation Center has been truly memorable. I am incredibly grateful for the compassionate care and support provided by Jennifer Londono, social worker at Miami Jewish Health, especially in the care of my 91-year-old loved one. It’s the best!!! My stay in rehab has been going so well. Special thanks to My Nurse, Jodi K., RN whose smile lights up a room. She is kind and gracious. She explains everything in terms that I understand and is always there to hold my hand during those tough days. She is one of a kind. My CNA, P. Jenkins is kind and always helpful. KerryAnn Davis Nurse and Judit Guaman CNA, gave me exceptional care. Their caring and friendly bedside manner was exemplary. All staff were awesome in my care and support. Nursing, dietary, Physical and Occupational Therapy departments were really great in their care of and interest in my rehab. On Nov 6 I fell and fractured left hip. My husband rushed me to ER because pain was incredible I couldn't put weight on left side at all. I needed surgery asap. On 11/8 I was transferred in the evening here to Miami Jewish Health for physical therapy and nursing care. I get intensive physical therapy Is the best I ever had. Jodi s usually my day nurse. Shes knowledgeable. Patient, kind or just holds your hand if you need. Mara is here evenings and she is also incredible. , knowledgeable kind.Alex is with me as well. Always smiling, kind knowledgeable making sure I'm comfortable. The aids are wonderful. The staff actually smiles and even stops to chat. The all make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. MePaethrine, Patty are so comforting Incredible. I'm so glad my Dr sent me here.This is medical care with 5 stars in every department. Thank you all for all you are doing for me. I am writing this review to commend everyone at Miami Jewish Health. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Nursing Staff. Jodi, RN always came in with a smile that would light up any room. She is professional and knowledgeable, and caring. She explained everything in terms that I would understand and continues to provide excellent care. She is a ray of sunshine. Alex, LPN is sweet and professional She has great mannerism. The CNA's, M. Felissaint, P. Smith, P. Jenkins, S. Nickle, and P. St Vil. were just a delight. No matter the situation at hand, they came together. The nurses and CNA's communicated well amongst each other. The call lights were answered in a timely manner. The facility was well-maintained. The Rehab department were wonderful. The Therapists took their time with me and were just great. We recently had our mother stay at Miami Jewish Health for rehab after surgery. The quality of clinical care provided by the nursing staff is top-notch. Beyond the medical expertise, the staff's kindness and professionalism stood out. Every staff member, from the CNAs and nurses to the front desk and administration, treated us with respect and dignity. They took the time to listen, address concerns quickly, and keep us informed about her progress. While it's impossible to name everyone, we want to give special thanks to Jodi, Maria, Felissaint, Sharon, Patty Jo, Sheila, Patrina & Genard for their compassion and dedication. I'll start with the notion that if you want your loved ones to be safe and good, you need to actively participate in their care, there is no other way and nothing can substitute love and hope coming from family, even if they are staying in the best facility. Miami Jewish Health IS THE BEST, we learned it hard way when we finally landed there during difficult and nerve-racking 12 weeks recovery of my Grandpa. Facility is beautiful and very clean with no smell. We were in the South Toppel and when we arrived, Grandpa (forget about walking!!) could not even sit down without passing out. Things were so bad that he qualified for hospice care and we did not know when or if we ever be able to take him home, but we said that until he has a will and mind, we will fight and all of the staff from doctors, nurses, aids, physical and occupational therapists to a social workers and case managers jumped on this task with such a remarkable energy and devotion. The staff and a team are above and beyond. They fought with us for an every single inch of the recovery through ups and lows, day after day after day, and they are still helping us once we are home. As a result we have been home for a week now and I watched Grandpa sitting in the restaurant with us, being at the beach, enjoying his home and family. It's difficult to put into words my gratitude, admiration and respect for such a hard and impactful work. You guys gave us a gift of more time, gift of dignity and gift of hope. Few honorable mentions here: Dr. Moghaddam - thank you!! South Toppel Nurses and aids are WOW, Josie and Jodie are the best same as all of the team! Physical and Occupational therapy team are my heroes, all of them are top-notch professionals with a huge hearts, but girl named Raizy stepped up so tall and was a core of grandpa's success, she ensured to visit him multiple times a day (she did not have to) and helped him to keep pushing forward when he thought he can't, he talks of her with such love, same as we all. Social worker Manuela is a warm, beautiful soul and a real asset for the MJH, she not only dealt so well with us and lists on lists with our requests/questions but she navigated all the moving parts super efficient and organized a safe and clear discharge, thank you all of the social work team who were part of it. Yaritza (care navigator) been there with a great advice, amazing attitude, patience and hands-full of resources that are so helpful now. Yvette and Lexie from the Accent care are someone you WANT in your corner when things get tough, I can describe their work and personalities as professionalism marrying compassion. I can go on and on, including the security team, ladies in the coffee place and I apologize if I forgot someone. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done for our family and Grandpa, this great team deserves an acknowledgment and a raise! I can not recommend this place enough. G-d bless you all with all what you need and what your hearts desire that is good for you.

If I could give this place no stars, I definitely would. This place about killed my mother, and she had around $20,000.00 of property stolen. I contacted the state agency that regulates hospitals in nursing homes. They did an unannounced visit and found that they violated rules, policies, and laws. They give my mother aspirin when she’s Allergic to aspirin. They sent her to the hospital, and then, when it’s time for her to come back, they refuse her. Many feel they fake an Illness to get her out of there. She was in a rehab, not long-term care. They made my mother very sick to this day. She’s still trying to recover. I had to call the police on those people, and all they do is lie. They have a male nurse who was very dishonest and gave my mother medication that she should only take when her blood pressure is low, not high. This male nurse had on a fake staff ID saying he was a regular nurse (RN), but the state agency informed me he was a licensed practical nurse (LPN). I was not shocked because his behavior was not that of a Registered nurse(RN). They lost my mother's medication that they had asked to keep because their pharmacy does not carry it. They replaced the lost prescription medication. I included a photo of my mother's blood pressure when the LPN nurse gave her medicines to make the blood pressure go higher when it’s to low but she had high blood pressure. I requested to see the patient's doctor and was often told that the doctor would call me, but never did. Please, I strongly recommend. Do not send your loved ones there; you may never see them again if you do. This is my family's experience. This place is very well-kept and clean from the outside. It can fool you. Nice grass!

Hey so I want to share the experience I had with this amazing place! We had our grandfather in the Aventura hospital, in the ER then ICU then general hospital. The Aventura hospital performed well but last minute told us that we have 24 hours to send him to a rehab. They gave us 3 options - only 1 of which had a rehab with a 4.0/5.0 as to whatever the governmental evaluation is. Horrible place in Aventura. Smelled like pee everywhere, the gym was atrocious, all the equipment was basically broken for BP, sugars, a bunch of other basic equipment. He was there for a week or two and went to physical therapy maybe once for 30 minutes, how do you get better that way?? The nurses at least cared and were nice but the administration allow for each nurse to basically have a whole floor so that’s anywhere between 16-24 patients at a time. It was horrible. Thank god for Miami Jewish Health! Jodie was an amazing nurse who helped us with everything. And the moment he was admitted 4 aids and a nurse- cleaned him, changed him, took all of his vitals including sugar(he’s a diabetic), they made sure they accounted for every bruise and cut on him, and they made him feel as comfortable as he can the whole time he was staying there. Again I want to say JODIE was awesome!! And besides being a huge help and an amazing nurse; she is an amazing human!!! The social worker Emanuella has a huge heart and works ferociously for her patients. Physical therapy is conducted on time and multiple times a week. This awesome physical therapist named Razie went above and beyond to get him up and out of bed. Visiting him even when she doesn’t necessarily have a class with him. She gave him hope and fire and now he’s walking 100 feet at a time!!!! I wish I could give this place 15 stars and that Miami Jewish health knows what Ana amazing team they have and give all the people listed a raise and promotion

I want thank the entire staff at Miami Jewish Health Systems from the bottom of my heart for ALL the LOVE, SUPPORT, PROFESSIONALISM and GREAT CARE of my beautiful dear mother. I knew on day one when I spoke with Brenda in the admissions office, and when I also did the tour, that this place was amazing My mother CAN'T STOP singing their praises— My mother was treated with love, care, and respect by the Rehab staff department (nurses, PT, OT, administration, cafeteria, and everyone)—The Toppel-South staff are remarkable people and individuals — GOD bless you all and thank you again for the great care of my precious mother

My 94 year old father in law has been thriving since being here! Staff is very attentive and a pleasure to deal with. He is getting therapy he needs and shower and shaved. Getting physical therapy helping him to walk. We are very happy. They get him out of bed which is so important!

I don’t understand why this place only get three stars but again I haven’t looked at others. I have been here now four times for hip replacement and knee replacement. Most of the staff are very nice and helpful but there’s always a certain percentage that are just pretty much sleepwalking but some really care and try to do their best and that makes a difference. It’s an older facility but everything is rocksolid, clean, freshly painted, etc. and their food is 10 times better than a Hospital. Everything is homemade, and there homemade desserts are wonderful. It has been here for eight years and that’s pretty impressive. The location is not in the best part of town but it’s a huge compound that used to be called Douglas Gardens and in it’s day, it was beautiful and still has beautiful huge banyan trees on the premise. I choose to come back here each time I change out a part of my body and thank God I’ve had pretty much only very good care. You don’t have to be Jewish to come here.

My dad is presently in their Skilled Nursing facility for Rehabilitation. This is by far the best Rehab place he has ever been to. Very clean, excellent staff, outstanding physical therapists and therapy, nurses, social worker and good care all around. Spacious one-person room. My dad is very picky about the food so I can’t say how good or bad it is because I haven’t seen it but everything else is just great. I highly recommend it. Not in a great neighborhood but once you pass security you are in a very safe and clean place with excellent care. It is very hard finding a place that actually cares for the elderly and it is nice to see one that does.

My elderly mother had been placed here several times after being admitted to the hospital for her rehabilitations to get her strength back. The staff at the facility are all very pleasant and friendly. They always make me feel welcome and go above and beyond caring for my mother. They are Always in contact with me during her stay updating me on her Progress and even set up meetings in person with the different dept staff to keep me in the loop of mom's progress. The rooms are all clean and uniform with beautiful flat screen TVs, and large windows for my mom to look out of and very well kept. I have visited other facilities in Miami and would not even think twice about putting her anywhere else but Miami Jewish. The grounds are protected by a large security staff. The grounds are beautifully maintained. If my mom were to need rehab again I would not even think twice, Miami Jewish is my Top Choice!! No other facility in Miami even comes close to their standards. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

My mother is in the nursing home. The staff is very attentive to her needs. The place is so beautiful.....lots & lots of gardens, open spaces, smoking areas. It also has a beauty salon on the premises & I hope they re-open the store soon....truly feels like a community & not a nursing home. Glad I found this place!
