Exactly one week ago, I called and spoke to a representative of this company at 'Savia Health LLC DBA Brightstar Care of Coral Gables', was completely forthcoming with my llimited experience, just having obtained my CNA license/certification several months ago. They had me to fill out the incredibly lengthly application (46 different documents), then the next day sent me an email that they required a physical within the last 6 months, when the physical I received in December 2023 is valid through 2025, signed by the Medical Doctor. The day after that, upon me calling the office to resolve the concern they brough forth via email about the Physical and TB Shot (not to mention), the staff told me they are 'only accepting applicants with a year of experience', assuring me that everyone working and being hired has the required one year of experience and that they have my application on file and will call me if any position becomes available. Additionally, I'm black so there's that. Ha! Or perhaps not the best fit for them, at the time. We'll see if they do in fact call me back, and I'll update this review accordingly, and accurately. And I'll keep an ear out if what the staff member stated is actually veridical (the truth beyond imagining it so). However, the person I spoke to each time was polite. The good thing is that I have an opportunity to help any person online via a health app called Fitbudd, and am currently working on the site, and should be ready to launch my training portal shortly! This is the second Brightstar I have applied to, with the first being the North Miami/Miami Beach location, even went to an interview, on supposedly, the 'wrong day', which was not exactly correct; I even called back as the hiring manager requested, leaving a voicemail, to finally complete interview, and still did not receive an answer/phone call from the hiring manager. I hope they are doing well and wish them the best. Is this simply an ambiguous situation? Also I hope I wasn't being too impatient. To be fair, I cannot comment on how it is to work for them nor can I comment on the care provided by and of their the providers.

Hands down an amazing agency for home healthcare. On numerous occasions the staff have been by my daughter's side to provide pristine care in both typical daily settings and emergency intervention settings. Brightstar has been providing home healthcare for my daughter for over 3 years, and I'm glad to say I have never been let down. My daughter is extremely medically fragile, and requires constant assistance. Though apprehensive at first to bring in nurses, I'm glad Brightstar was the agency who showed up and showed out!! The love and care my 8 year old receives resonates throughout my entire household. The staff sees my daughter as more than just another case. From administration staff to nursing staff, all have been readily available. Even in times when I was medically ill, and unable to care for my child, all hands were on deck to ensure my daughter's care didn't miss a beat! This agency is truly a blessing!

SONIA IS PHENOMENALLY-WONDERFUL PERSON!!!! IT TAKES ONE ACT OF KINDNESS AND THE DIFFERENCE IS MADE IMMEDIATELY. SHE AND BRIGHTSTAR CARE HELPED ME SO MUCH!!!! I REALLY APPRECIATE THEM FOR EVERYTHING THEY DO!!! LULU AND NURSE ODALYS THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! THIS IS ONE OF THE BETTER AGENCIES TO BE EMPLOYED BY. I LIKE THEY GET PAID WEEKLY. We began using BrightStar Care of Coral Gables about 3 years ago to assist with my wife who suffers from dementia/Alzheimer's. They provided an outstanding caregiver, Johane Adrien, whose combination of compassion and work ethic was extraordinary. She became part of the family. As our needs increased, other qualified caregivers assisted until recently when my wife entered a residential memory care program. BrightStar was able to meet unexpected needs promptly, and the quality of Care was outstanding. I recommend BrightStar to anyone in need of home care assistance.

A caregiver, Yelenys Perez, was assigned to come and help me as I had surgery and could not put any weight on one leg for six seven weeks. She made me feel very comfortable, and went way up and beyond what I expected. She had to bathe me which under normal circumstances would have made me a bit uncomfortable but she maintained her professionalism along with her kindness and put me at ease. I am extremely happy with this service! Along with bathing me she did some things around my house that I could no longer do like washing my sheets washing the dishes making me lunch. During my father's home hospice care, I found this agency to be truly caring. I could always reach them when. necessary & they immediately tended to the needs of my father. Odayls, in particular visited him herself on several occasions even though she is the owner/manager - she made time. Also; she bent over backwards to find aides for him that he liked. He was treated as if he was her only client. She always responded to any issues no matter the time or day. She is truly a kind & caring person, & I will forever be grateful to her for helping my father in the last of his days.
