My 96 year-old Dad moved into Sonata Viera about 3 months ago. This is never an easy journey, but the the managing staff were so excellent and informative. Dad is a WW2 veteran and this seemed to be the perfect fit. All of the staff have been very helpful in making my Dad feel at home and me and my family feel he is safely cared for. They have called me right away if there were any concerns or issues. Sonata has a very caring atmosphere. The staff readily got to know my Dad and greet him by name. They are very kind and patient with him as they provide care. He enjoys the food very much and the food service is excellent. I can stop by and have meal any time I would like. He is now settled into the routine and we feel much better knowing that he has good nutrition, regular medication, and health care available when needed. There are excellent activities available and it is a safe location during hurricane season. I can't say enough positive about Sonata Viera. Jeff Hoy

My Army veteran father has been at sonata for about 4 years now. Over those years there has been some staff turnover. At first this concerned me, but the facility has been getting better and better. They treat my father well and they all know him on a first name basis. Also the events they have been hosting have been wonderful. The events are getting better and better. My father seems happy here and enjoys the staff.

My father made his decision to move into Sonata Viera after only visiting two other assisted living facilities. He immediately was sure about his decision, and felt right at home after moving in and getting settled.He has made many friends while living there, and has also become very close to staff members that treat him as one of their own family. He has lived there for over two years now, and still knows he made the right decision.I definitely recommend Sonata Viera, as I visit my father regularly and always know he is being taken care of and in the best of hands and safe.

Ive worked as a home health nurse (Home Health Care of Florida, the best!!) at Sonata Viera for over two years, visiting several times a week. It has just gotten better and better with all the renovations but especially because of the staff. Im afraid Ill leave someone out but Jill (ED,) Sara (DON,) Debbie, Nikki, Buffy, Jodi, Tasha, and so many others are all top notch. They continue to make improvements often implemented due to residents suggestions. It is with a very sad heart I leave to work in NC because I will miss being there with all my heart. Thanks for the memories, residents and staff alike!! I recommend them wholeheartedly for your loved one!!!

I have worked at Sonata for a little over a year now. No job is perfect but I genuinely love working for this company. I have become very close to many of the residents here and I feel as if I have 100 adopted grandparents. I work in the activities department and its really cool to see new residents regain a social life again. Ashley is the activities director and makes sure each week is action packed. Due to covid-19 our activities are limited but she still keeps them busy while social distancing. If you are thinking about moving a loved one in we do walk in tours everyday but if you schedule a tour with Tonya (community relations director) you will not be let down!

Great Place for Dad. The staff treats him very well which makes me comfortable knowing that he is well cared for. We speak with him everyday and the facility encourages him to participate with others.I would recommend this ALF primarily because the senior staff makes a major effort to keep the place running smoothly. That is a major exception compared to other ALFs in the area.

My father has been a resident at Sonata, Viera since August 2019.I toured 8 facilities before deciding on Sonata.Tonya was my representative and was the most informative individual I had spoke with in the industry.The facility is immaculate and the entire staff is dedicated to residents needs.I would highly recommend, before you decide on a facility to place your loved one, take a tour, you wont be disappointed.

Sonata Viera is the best place I have ever worked. The staff is hardworking and compassionate and Management genuinely cares for the residents and staff. The care is the greatest and our residents are in amazing hands. We keep our residents very active and engaged in daily activities and events. Sonata Viera is a great place for my mom. We toured a number of assisted living facilities and felt comfortable immediately upon taking a tour. The staff is amazing! They are always very friendly, courteous and responsive to my moms needs. They keep an eye on everything that goes on there and are very proactive in making sure the residents are all comfortable and happy. The amenities and activities are top notch.

We moved my mother with memory issues there in August and the stay has been nothing but accommodating to my mother, her dog and my family. Everyone has made certain that her needs were met and guidance was provided throughout the transition.The facility has been decorated beautifully and has a home like feeling which is what you would hope for when you are placed in this situation with your parents.

My parents moved to Sonata Viera in March. My sister and I visited several different facilities. We both liked Sonata Viera best. The entire staff has been wonderful. My parents both loved it there. My dad just passed away and the staff was caring, comforting and compassionate. We then moved my mother from a 1-bedroom to.a studio. We needed to get it done quickly while my sister was still here from TX. Tonya and Matt worked hard to make that happen. Moving them to Sonata was the best decision we could have made on their behalf. The facility is well-maintained. It looked good to me when they moved there, but they recently renovated for a fresh, new look. Mom loves the food which is very important! Thank you, Sonata, for the care you provide from the dining staff to the aides, nurses and management. We appreciate you!

And while the staff is well-trained in how they care for my mother, Im even more impressed because they care about her as a person.

Senior living with a zest for life!This community has vastly improved since it became Sonata Viera! The new management has made many improvements to not only the building but to the quality of living for the residence. In the last couple of months the morale of the staff and residents has increased tremendously! Sonata has brought in seasoned staff that provide a solid foundation of quality care and fresh new faces that are providing a renewed energy, changing the atmosphere of a previously drab facility. Although my loved one is not quite ready for senior living, Sonata Viera is my first choice when the time comes.If you need senior living for your loved one, with a lively atmosphere, caring staff, where your family member will feel at home, this is it!

Our father needed additional care and spent a month at Sonata. He enjoyed his short time there. The food and care were exceptional.

Came to visit my parents. Some of the workers are angels and provide great care for the residents. However, some days I believe my parents are ignored. On days when they dont go down for meals, Im told they are checked on. Its now 930 am and they have not been checked on at all this morning.
