Updated Post: In the past this place has had a big problem with night shift supervision, assistance and communication. The day staff has mostly been good. Also, the phone messaging system is a joke and there is no way to get a hold of anyone at night. My Dad has been here a few years now. Previous issues seemed to have improved…… I think. I haven't tried to call them at night in a while. I do know that during the day it is still hard to get a hold of people. Be aware that if you visit in the evening you have to enter via the side entrance. There are some nice, good people here, but in the past it has been poorly managed and grossly understaffed, especially in the off hours. I hope things are improving. The prices have been good and they work with you. I hope that part doesn't change.

My dad stayed here and we're hoping to return here soon! The care you receive is top notch. The Director is hands on and so caring for each of the residents. The nurses and CN's actually care. The rehab team is wonderful and on point! My dad also enjoyed the food so that's a plus too. 🙂 I'd definitely recommend a loved one staying here!

I wanted to share our experience with Savannah Court of Maitland. Our mother is 90 years old and suffers some memory loss. We, the family, were looking for a place that mom would be safe and well cared for, although she still has a very strong sense of independence. The team at Savannah court suggested that we bring mom for the day to see if she likes it and for the staff to get to know her. Things went very well and mom made friends very easily. It was after this we started discussing her getting an apartment. To our surprise she liked the idea very much. When she first moved into her new apartment, I had checked mom out for the weekend and was returning her late Sunday evening. Mom was telling me that she did not like being checked on by the staff in the late evening, she felt she did not need to be watched over as she was not sick. Once mom was settled in her room, I found the Med-tech working that evening. I would eventually meet Ken, my mother's Med-tech. Ken and I spoke and I shared my mother dim view on being watched over, although she needs to be, and asked if Ken would play the part of security guard checking on my mother to ensure her safety. Ken did not blink an eye and agreed that if my mother was more comfortable with him being security that it was the best course of action. Ken went on to explain to my mother that as her security guard it was his job to keep her safe, ensure she took her medication, and keep an eye on her. I have come to know Ken a little better and have a great amount of respect for the man. Not only is he dedicated and devoted to his patients, he is a dad working two jobs, and he is my mother's nighttime security guard on the weekends. We need more Kens in the world! Thank you for taking such good care of my mother. Savannah Court is staffed with outstanding care providers, hopefully you will have the opportunity to meet Ken as well.

The staff is professional, diligent, and caring. My dad moved last week and has adapted well. He enjoys talking with the residents, lounging at the porch, getting assisted by the staff, and eating at the dining room area. They are constantly cleaning and sanitizing the facility. Gabby the sales manager always takes time to connect with dad and even have his favorite coffee at her office to make him feel at ease. The day he arrived she received him at the front entrance. Carol the director and Gabby the manager are wonderful people! They also have daily activities and weekly outings because they want to enhance the residents lifestyle.

If you're looking for a great place for your loved one, I would highly recommend Savannah Court of Maitland. Very welcoming, personable and friendly staff. Outstanding services all around, from accommodations, meals, and outings. They treat residents as a whole. My dad seems happy every time I go visit. Overall I am very satisfied with this facility and the way Gabi has eased any apprehension I may have had about placing my dad at an Assisted Living facility.

My family member recently completed a four-week stay at the rehabilitation center, and while there were positive aspects, there were also notable shortcomings that affected our overall experience. Rehab Nursing Staff: 5/5 stars The rehabilitation nursing staff deserves commendation for their excellent care and dedication. Their expertise and compassion significantly contributed to my family member's positive rehabilitation experience. DON was very attentive, kind, professional, and helpful. Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy: 5/5 stars The physical and occupational therapy teams were outstanding, providing personalized and effective rehabilitation exercises. Their commitment to the recovery process earned them a well-deserved 5-star rating. Communication with Nursing: 3/5 stars Regrettably, the communication with the nursing team was subpar, earning a 3-star rating. It was challenging to engage with them, and it often felt like our concerns were not being fully heard. Improved communication could have greatly enhanced our overall satisfaction with the care provided. Interprofessional Collaboration: 2/5 stars Interprofessional collaboration was disappointingly lacking during the four-week stay. Despite the importance of a holistic approach to rehabilitation, there was only one interprofessional meeting, and it did not include nursing or care managers. This lack of collaboration detracted from the overall quality of care. Care Management Team: 1/5 stars The care management team's performance was a significant drawback in our experience. Getting in touch with them was an arduous task, and when we finally did, the interaction was marked by rudeness and unhelpfulness. A 1-star rating reflects the poor service provided by this crucial component of the rehabilitation process.

came to Savannah Cove from a hospital release whet a right side of my body weak from a Stroke , And two weeks later . i am leaving Savannah to go home walking as a normal person . I recommend this facility 100% the nursing staff and therapy staff treat you as a family member and all the staff are so good. Thank you Savannah for getting me to where I am today. Stronger and positive. Always telling me I could do it and I did.

Guess this place really turned around recently. I see some of the negative reviews, but we've had nothing but positive experiences with our mother there. She tells us the staff is helpful, kind, and attentive. She even comments about how good her dinner was on some visits. Definitely worth checking out if you have a loved one in need of some TLC.

I visited a neighbor for the first time and was so pleasantly surprised by both the friendliness of the staff and her room. I mentioned that I might be in need for my mother a place in the future and a very nice, lovely lady named Meg? or Margo? sorry I can't quite remember. She was kind enough to take me around , explained all of the features and benefits and even offered to come in on her day off, who does that now days !!! (I explained I might come in Sunday)to give another tour with my wife. My friend is both so lucky and blessed to be in such a wonderful place !!! KUDOS to Meg and facility staff!!!!

My husband was in the skilled nursing facility at Savanah Cove the nurses and therapist were Excellent. The physical therapy was Awesome Kevin and Ashley were Great!!! We were very pleased!!!!

savannah cove is a great place to go for rehab. The staff were very attentive and caring! the food was excellent! Clean and a very comfortable atmosphere. They gave my dad such wonderful care!
