6 + years ago, my Mom was looking for a new home. Over 90 at the time, she was spry, clear headed and mobile. We found Angels in Lutz. Beautiful Assisted Living Facility pretty new at the time. It was very close to my home for quick visits (just to change remote batteries some times) but My Mom grew to love her 1-Bedroom at Angels. It was not the room, it was very nice and offered all she needed, but it was the people. From Dana and Nancy, Administrators, to Jo and Maria and the entire staff, I believe they loved each other. My Mom passed away last week. I am heartbroken, but I know that her time at Angels was such a blessing for these last 6-years. It is not just a home, but quickly becomes your extended family. We were lucky enough to find a home for Dad last December at Angels Senior Living at The Lodges of Idewild in Lutz. He was evacuated from his home in Elance' two years ago during the hurricanes that devastated our coast. We moved him three times because of substandard care at local facilities since then and when Angels Senior Living had a vacancy we didn't hesitate to drive 41 miles to visit this facility. Wow. We immediately fell in love with the facility, the vibe, the food, the apartments and most importantly the staff. Everyone embraced our Dad the moment they met him. He felt like he was "home" and surrounded by staff that tended to his every need. His care was consistently excellent in every situation and he was always treated with dignity and respect. He would often say "I love it here" and the staff always told us how much they loved him. Sadly he passed away two weeks ago but he was surrounded by the loving care of the staff and us as a family. Both my wife and I are retired and are living independently at this point but given the care our Dad got at the Lodges of Idewild we wouldn't hesitate to move there if our health needs changed anytime soon. They simply are "the best of the best."

Our grandparents absolutely loved their time at Angel Senior Living at the Lodges. From the very beginning, the staff treated them like family and always made them feel comfortable, cared for, and included. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like home. One thing our family especially appreciates is how much they celebrate the holidays. We always show out for holidays with decorations, family visits, and celebrations, and the staff embraces that energy and helps make every occasion special for the residents. Seeing our grandparents smiling, laughing, and enjoying those moments meant everything to us. The facility is always clean, the communication is great, and you can tell the people working there genuinely care about the residents and their families. Moving my mother into The Angels Living Center was the best decision our family could have made. While the initial move to assisted living was daunting, the staff made the transition seamless. As her needs increased, we transitioned her to their memory care unit, and I can say without hesitation that the care is exceptional. The staff in the memory care unit are not just caretakers; they are patient, loving, and deeply knowledgeable about dementia care. The environment is secure yet warm, clean, and smells wonderful (not like a hospital). They have engaging activities that keep residents active and purposeful rather than sitting in their rooms. The communication between the nursing staff and our family was always proactive and transparent, giving us true peace of mind. A huge thank you to the entire staff for going above and beyond. This is one of the most beautiful breathtaking facilities I have ever seen. I went around to about 10 different assisted living in the area and everything about this one said it was the right home for my grandma. Staffing and management go above and beyond to make sure all your needs and wants are met as much as possible. Everyone in the facility is extremely welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home.

My husband has been at The Lodges for a year and a half. I couldn't be happier. The level of care is superb, as well as all of the amenities. The kind, loving care that he has received is beyond compare. Everything about the facility is A+ comfort and clean. My husband raves about how good the food is! The Angels is fabulous. On a fairly quick request they found a room for my 95 year old mother. From the nurses to the directors they always kept me informed of what is going on. Plenty of activities, bible studies and great food. I will always recommend The Angels at the Lodge at Idlewild.

I cannot recommend The Lodges highly enough. My mother is in their memory care unit, and my father is in assisted living. The level of care they both receive has given our entire family tremendous peace of mind during what could have been a tough transition. What truly sets The Lodges apart is their understanding that care isn't one-size-fits-all. The personalized attention that both my parents receive shows that the staff genuinely takes the time to know each resident as an individual. They've learned my parents' preferences, routines, and needs, making them feel at home rather than just another resident. My parents are more active, and my father is more social than he has been in 10 years. I only wish I had done this sooner. The memory care my mother receives is outstanding. The staff is patient, compassionate, and expertly trained in caring for individuals with memory care needs. They've created a safe and engaging environment where she receives the specialized care she needs. Perhaps what has meant the most to our family is how The Lodges made arrangements to keep my parents close to each other despite their different care needs. Our parents moved in the end of September so have been at the Lodges for almost seven weeks. We could not be more satisfied with the assistance, the advice, the encouragement, and the care for our parents and ourselves. We are new to this and it has been a labyrinth of new experiences, some confusing, some anxious. The management, wellness director, caregivers, food services, and staff have patiently given us great relief and support in this process. We checked many facilities and are so glad we chose the Lodges.

My mom was a resident here for a couple of years till we moved her closer to our home. I can not express enough what a wonderful and welcoming place the Lodge is. The staff and management went out of their ways to accommodate any needs we had from financial, to extra assistance, to making additional check ins on her when requested. When she had a stroke Dana checked in with me daily for any way she could help or just to offer an ear. Pam, Carlos, Dana, Johnny and Nancy go above and beyond for the residents there. There is a whole lot of love and care for everyone living there. Just pop in if your looking for a true home feeling for a loved one . You won't be disappointed

My mom and step dad lived here for 3 years. Facility is clean and well maintained. There are problems with all facilities but they were always willing to discuss any issues and address them with me. The staff is some of the best around. Dana, Janelle, Olivia are wonderful administrators. There are so many care staff that deserve to be recognized - Rick, Carlos, Natalie, all of the Memory care staff, I cannot say how much we appreciated them. Johnny (maintenance) was exceptionally helpful to my mom during the last 2 hurricanes. He did an amazing job with my mom's room and remediated the damage quickly. My mom was very happy living at The Lodges. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing an Assisted Living facility.

My mom has been a resident in Memory Care at Angels Senior Liviing The Lodges at Idlewild in Lutz for a few months and I am very happy with her care. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They treat my mom like family. They have so much compassion and patience. The Executive Director Dana is wonderful! She always has time to answer any questions. You can see Dana really cares about all her residents and familles. Jo, the Wellness Director is very kind and helpful. Olivia, the Memory Care Manager is absolutely AMAZING!! Her compassion, kindness, patience is unmatched. My mom is so lucky to have Olivia!!! She is available 24/7 for anything my mom needs. I am so thankful for all the staff at Angels Senior Living the Lodges at Idlewild.

My parents came to the Lodges of Idlewild over a year ago and the staff take great care of them. When my dad recently passed, they understood that the change would be difficult for my mother so they provided extra support during that difficult time. I cannot thank them enough for the care they have provide over the past year! There is no "perfect" ALF but here they are always striving to be better. They are constantly brainstorming ways to help the residents/families feel at home and part of the community. The staff are fantastic! Many have been there for years and consistency is very important when our loved ones are struggling to remember the people that used to be familiar. To see a familiar face can make all of the difference! I believe that some of the negative reviews are from other facilities with a similar name. The staff and families at Angels Senior Living at the Lodges of Idlewild work hard to maintain a positive, loving, and fun environment. Please come check it out and see for yourselves. I think you will be pleasantly surprised 🙂

My father lived at Angels/Lodges for almost two years. He was always well-taken care of there. The staff are incredible, always attentive and very much understanding that a positive attitude goes a long way to lift the spirits of the residents. While I was nervous about selecting the best place for my father to receive assisted living care, Angels at the Lodges turned out to be the perfect choice, and he was very satisfied and happy with his time there. Thank you to Betty, Nancy, and all the staff who cared for him so well in his time there.

Angels senior visited us in Acropolis New Tampa for lunch and were amazing towards the stuff. I had the please of serving them and everything went great. Everyone was friendly and polite. Rachel and Vanessa did a great job with organising the reservation and were extremely caring with the seniors. Well done keep up the good work.
