I recently moved out of Park Tower after living there for three years. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet. It sits on 73 acres of preserved cedar forest with a beautiful lake. The outdoors is the best part of living here. The lake has a wide variety of life including Peacock Bass, one of my favorite fish. In my time at Park Tower I had to rely on the business office for help and guidance and Heidi Rosario, the business office manager was there to help me every step of the way. I honestly don't know what I would've done without her. The activity director is always coming up with different types of activities for the residence. There is medical staff on site including a well run Physical Therapy office . Everyone of the therapists are excellent at what they do. I want to give a shout out to Carolyne Melendez who my brother's French Bulldog is already missing. I will definitely miss my time at Park Tower and especially Heidi and Carolyne.

The team was incredibly organized and professional from the start. They guided us through the entire tour with care, clearly explaining the services, amenities, and living options so we knew exactly what to expect. Every question we had was answered thoroughly, and nothing felt rushed or confusing. What really impressed me was how smoothly everything was run. The community felt clean, vibrant, and thoughtfully maintained, and the staff genuinely seemed invested in the residents’ comfort and happiness. It gave us a lot of peace of mind. I moved to Independent living at Pacifica Forest Trace, now called Forest Trace, almost six years ago. At that time I wrote a review of reasons why I chose this place after looking at many others. The beautiful extensive grounds, large apartments with washer/dryer, praising Indi & Gladys for help in the transition, and the person who showed me around and answered all my questions. I now know the importance of the qualities of the Executive Director, as it relates to the residents. Brian Scheur, in this position for only a short time, seems to know all of us by name. It isn't just knowing your name, but he wants to talk to you and know who you are. He somehow makes his presence at all activities, often participating. Brian, as he chooses to be called, makes himself available to listen to personal concerns. At resident meetings he listens to all and tries to solve our problems. Anyone looking for a senior living place should realize no place is perfect. It can't be as each of us have different needs & choices. What one person thinks is perfect, another might not like. That is with food, room temperature, activities etc. With that being said, I have seen Brian try to hire more help, make repairs to the building as needed, and always tries to solve our problems with a smile. I admire his patience with some residents who are unhappy with the present delivery delays. I feel lucky to live at Forest Trace with Brian as its Director. I would certainly recommend Forest Trace.

I have been living at Pacifica Forest Trace at the Independent Living building for a year now. If u asked me how my experience has been here during this year i can say that.. without a single doubt in my mind this has been the best choice and decision I have made at this stage of my life. It is everything I was looking for and more because it meets all of my expectations and needs. Not to mention the beautiful and peaceful walk trails that is surrounded by, As well as the tall and mature trees where u can also find a comfortable bench near by seving as a shade where u can enjoy the view of a beautiful lake. One of the Highlights since i have been here, was the visit this month of my daughter that lives out of a state with her husband and my two beautiful granddaughters who are two of the most important people in life and closest to my heart. We had the opportunity not only to showed them around this beautiful place who I might say, is newly renovated and looks like a five start hotel, but also to enjoy the proximity that Forest Trace has to practically everything you need like., great Restaurants. Shopping plazas and only 15-20 minutes away from the famous Sawgrass Mills Mall. As well as a short drive to the beach, where they enjoyed a couple of beautiful days. We also were able to do something that is really important for us as a family and is a tradition of my daughters and, Now my granddaughters, only at a walking distance from here there is a big thrift shop where went to find small treasures. For my 11 year old granddaughter to refered to Forest Trace as a "Cool Place". At the end of her trip and said that she is Happy I am here. Only confirms that I made the right Decision. But... I also have go give credit where it's due. I would Not!! Be enjoying everything this place have to offered if it had not been for the warm, kind, compassionate welcome of Rick Drew. Who is the Director of Sales and Marketing here. Mr Drew, is part of a great team of people that work here. Being him very well like by the residents because his unwavering mission to serve us all, offering his guidance and help to residents here at Pacifica at Forest Trace.

I rarely write reviews but I’ve come to understand how important they have been in helping me make even the tough decisions easier. It was hard to move my mother between assisted living communities but she (and I) could not be happier. I specifically waited a few months since she’s moved to give my honest review/feedback. While bumps will always happen, there are no regrets only wonderful things to say. The food is excellent with plenty of options for everyone, the apartments very spacious (older building) with full size kitchens and laundry unity (unheard of in AL’s) and the landscaping is always well kept. Since it’s an older building maintenance is quite busy but they are always ready to help. We would have not been able to do this without Denise Higgins at sales - professional, kind and always going out of her way to be available even on weekends. A special thank you also to the Executive Diretor Stephen Fornataro for all his help through the transition into the community. And a very special mention and huge thank you to Indie (Community Services) Jewel, Maureen and Jackie (front Desk for their never ending patience) and Vicki (Activities Director) for her support. The nurses and aides are the best too, always always smiling and ready to help at a moments notice. Overall I can say the experience since moving in has been 5 stars! Thank you

I am very happy to be able to leave this review. Let me start this review by saying that Pacifica Senior living Forest Trace is a Wonderful place. We felt very fortunate when we found this Place for my sister Maria. Who had moved here from New York, We knew from the moment we walked in to meet Mr Rick Drew for a tour of the place that this was going to become a home away from home for my sister. This community is in a beautiful setting with big, mature trees and is surrounded by a large lake. It has spacious and breath taking walking paths . the covered Patio makes it posible for residents and their families to enjoy the outdoors almost all the time. The inside of the community is comfortable and home like. This is and Active and Lovely community But, as important as that is . What is even more importanr is the friendly, caring team members that work here. We had the pleasure of visiting with Rick Drew, the leasing agent. Who not only was extremely knowledgeable about his community and senior living but was tremendously kind and caring who for the time my sister has lived there has gone above and beyong to address help with any issues that arise. I know when I refer a family here, they will be treated with the outmost respect and dignity like they have treated my sister Maria. I will highly recommend you stopping by for a visit. All of my Family is very Grateful to have found a community that is the full package.

I was completely unprepared for the possibility of leavings my family and moving to anther state I did not have much desire of participating or taking decisions. I was just lost and missing my grand kids immensely. But I have my sister's support and determination to find MY NEW HOME . The selection was hard from the beginning; the prices, the services, the staff, the building, the location... But, when we came to PACIFICA SENIOR LIVING FOREST TRACE, the staff was cordial and attentive, our interview with the Leasing Agent MR. RICK DREW was professional, empathetic, relaxing. He is present, always, when you need his time. He is a good listener. He is a busy man so you have to be patient. He always returns phone calls. They have many different activities to take part in. They even have a priest and rabbi that comes once a week for religious services. Plenty of food items to choose from. Overall great experience!!!! Definitely recommend this place.

From the resident at the canopy who did an excellent job in telling us how happy she is to be here, to the lady at the reception desk who smiled while she greeted us, and then your Sales Director, who is Creme de la creme, Ms Denise Higgins. Looked and sounded great initially. Looked like a luxury resort. Was so happy to move mom in thinking she should be well looked after here and not have to worry about cooking. Wellthat didn’t last long. Continued complaints about the foodI ended up sending groceries regularly and she ended up cooking for herself a lot. Any discount for not partaking in the meals below. No! They sure want to charge you if you have a guest tho and it’s not cheap! Need something? Forget it. THE WORST. They’re always working on it. We actually used to laugh and makes bets on how many times we were going to hear that. Tried to complain to Steve who is supposedly running the place and couldn’t get him to return my calls. Ran into Indy while I was there and expressed my anger at being ignored. She immediately had Steve call me and he could barely tolerate me. The outside of the facility is disgusting and moldy. Like everything else, they’re working on it. Solar panels,working on it. TERRIBLE internet, working on it. Building security, working on it. The only thing I saw happen was increased pricing. The shining star of the place is Gladys the receptionist. She is an absolute gem. I also liked her apartment. Nice layout and was move in ready. PS. Wait til you hear all the excuses they’ll respond to this review with. Maybe if they spent more time giving the help requested and less time making excuses they wouldn’t have these issues.

Our family is experiencing the same issues as another recent reviewer of this facility. We moved our family member here and since doing so it seems that service and property upkeep have declined at a rapid rate. The building exterior is filthy and mold and mildew is growing by the day. The carpeting on the outside is full of mildew slime, which causes it to be slippery and there are always small pieces of garbage lying around outside. Inside there is a smell of mildew and the elevators are hot and also smell. You can see the dirt and fingerprints in an outside the elevators like they're rarely ever wiped down. The food is mediocre at best and sometimes not even edible. We have contacted all levels of management multiple times, so no need to give us the rundown of who we should reach out to as you did with the previous reviewer. Think twice before moving here or moving your loved ones.

Overall, this place is run by rude, unprofessional management. The staff dining, maintenance, etc. on the other hand are nice for the most part with a few front desk people here who can use attitude adjustments. The prices keep increasing but the services continue to decrease, to include no security at the front gate, less people to attend to residents, fewer menu options in the dining room and less activities just to name a few. Upper management is worse than all, and we are moving our loved ones (there are 2) out of here ASAP. Reviews can be bought, so don’t believe all the good ones. I gave three stars because of the good people here, but overall I would not recommend you move a loved one in here.

It's been six months since we moved my father in to Forest Trace. We had been caring for him in California for many years but his care needs, especially daily activities and medical coordination, became increasingly challenging. We made a family decision to move him into an assisted living facility in Florida where he could establish himself in a community and be closer to his other son, and his grandkids. We looked around several communities in the area and settled on Forest Trace. The most influential aspect was the pleasant grounds and the lake. My dad loves to walk, sit peacefully overlooking something pretty, and ponder life's big questions. We were also keenly interested in finding a place where he could surround himself with his own furnishings and artwork which he has spent a lifetime collecting. Obviously, great care, facilities, safety and security, activities, access to medical resources, and meals are essential parts of the equation as well. Forest Trace seemed to have it all. I can say that the move-in process was seamless. Rick and Indy and the staff were very helpful in facilitating the application and registration process, setting up the billing, preparation of his apartment, helping us find a move coordinator to work with our movers, hanging heavy wall art, and even helped build a platform for his mattress/box springs that reduced the height to a more safe and appropriate height than before. It took dad some time to settle into his new life, but he enjoys his walks, his surroundings and happy hour. He is slow to make new friends but has done so and is now integrating into the Forest Trace family. My brother visits regularly and dad gets to spend time with his grandkids, which he values greatly. I firmly believe he will integrate more fully and embrace the community at Forest Trace. Just as they have embraced him.

The decision to move an elderly parent to an assisted living facility is not an easy one. There are so many things to consider and likely a lot of emotions involved. When my wife and I first connected with Rick Drew via phone we could already tell he was kind and thoughtful. We also learned he was quite patient as we had to deal with some legal issues before the move could happen, which took a couple of months. Once we visited the property, we met Rick and his staff. Rick is a one-of-a-kind-special-man for sure. His warmth and friendliness are contagious. Indi, who is the moving coordinator, is gentle and accommodating. The nursing staff seemed content to be there, they smiled and greeted everyone who passed them by. The grounds at Pacifica at Forest Trace are truly magical. They make you feel like you are in a resort. The trees are mature, there are walking paths, a pool, a theater and many more amenities. During our visit we had the opportunity to speak with many residents who shared that they are happy to live there. It is possible that their 2 hour daily Happy Hour has something to do with their happiness level. 😉 The day we moved my father in, we felt he was welcomed with open arms. He received several visitors (staff) who came by to introduce themselves and who seemed committed to assisting him get settled into a new routine quickly yet smoothly... 88 year olds don't tend to love change. Leaving that day, we experienced a sense of calm, that my dad was in good and capable hands.

This is a very nice facility for elderly people who need extra care that cannot be provided by family members. For a monthly fee they provide two meals per day. They clean the apartment every week and provide entertainment and activities to keep your family member busy and entertained. There’s always someone at the desk to answer your phone call if you can’t get a hold of your family member. The facility is very clean and situated on beautiful grounds with lots of shady trees. Beautiful pool for swimming and keeping active. Lots of activities. If the resident doesn’t drive they have weekly trips to the stores. Overall very nice place for an elderly person to live out the rest of their years without the care of meal preparation or house keeping. If, in time, the resident requires more care to be fed or clothes they have staff to do that as well.

My 95 year old parents moved in to assisted living and have been very happy with everything offered. Diana and Indi made the whole process of moving in very easy and have assisted with all the questions I have had. The grounds are beautiful, private, and quiet. All the facilities are clean, and the staff has been very attentive. There are various activities all day long and dining is like being in a restaurant with several selections. The apartments are spacious and well kept. Overall, Pacifica Forest Trace has been a great choice.

Rick was incredibly helpful. We were in a bind, needed a place quickly for mother in law who was forced out of her home by a sewage leak that was not her fault, Rick was a lifesaver! We took a tour, loved what we saw, and signed on within.a day or 2. Mother in law is so happy, loves meeting new people, loves the ease of the meals, the activities keep her busy all day, it’s all just so great. We are thrilled she’s there and hope we can shift her there permanently instead of going back to her single family home and being alone. When my sister and I arrived at Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace looking for an ALF-Memory Care for our mother, we were feeling overwhelmed & sad. Having to place a loved one in the care of others is always a very hard decision and process. Rick Drew is the sales and community director who met with us and I have to say that he is so kind and was so understanding of our situation. I can't say enough good things about him. He empathized with what we were going through and took the time to listen to us and to what we needed. Pacifica Forest Trace is a beautiful place. The grounds are extensive and beautiful, and the facilities are extremely nice. The rooms/apartments in the memory care area are also very spacious and comfortable. However, what really sold us in making the decision to place our mother there was the care we received from Rick. He made the process so much easier and was always available to answer the tons of questions we had. Our mother has only been there almost a month, but so far we feel that we made the right decision in placing her there. We feel she is well cared for and in a comfortable place where she can feel at home. Even now, whenever we have any questions, we still contact Rick even though he might not be the person in the position to answer, and he happily forwards our request to the correct person and makes sure we get our answers. The staff helping with our mother also seem caring and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend Pacifica Forest Trace if you are looking for an Assisted Living Facility for a loved one.

After 10 years of living at Pacifica Forest Trace, my Mom had just passed away in February. All throughout these years, her family paid her rent with all the yearly increases. During the last 3 to 4 years her apartment had a roach infestation that was hardly addressed. The weekly cleaning service was subpar, overlooking dust and dirt in vents and closets. Now that my Mom passed away, the facility has the audacity to charge her estate for another month of rent.

As a recent retiree and new Floridian, I am excited and thrilled with my decision to move to Pacifica Forest Trace. The buildings and grounds are beautiful. My newly renovated two bedroom apartment is gorgeous. All of the executives and staff are superior. The cuisine is luscious and offers a tremendous selection for the individual palates. Before Covid 19, there were non-stop activiities all day and after dinner. The Health Department is not only conveniently located in my building but the Doctors, Nurses and staff are professional and compassionate. Even though I did not know one person when I moved here, I now have many new friends and meet more people everyday. I am extremely happy here and rate Pacifica Forest Trace 10 Star!!!!

My parents reside in Florida and my brother and I live up north. My brother and I are hoping my parents will relocate to Forest Trace to live in a beautiful community with amazing support. We have toured Forest Trace twice with Michelle. The facilities were clean and beautiful. Michelle arranged for my parents to have a weekend stay to see if the community was a good "fit" for them. They were paired with other members of the community for meals and activities. My mom reported that the residents they met were friendly, helpful and all enjoyed life at Forest Trace. Recently, we decided to move my parents to an Independent living facility. We interviewed and inspected many of the facilities within the area and decided on Pacifica Forest Trace. Interestingly, it was an easy decision. Dealing initially with Michelle and then with Indi, the process couldn't have been smoother. From the moment we first set foot in the facility to the actual move in date, we were impressed every step of the way. Indi, doesn't understand the word "no" and could not have been more accommodating for my parents. She truly went above and beyond every step of the process. My parents call me daily to tell me just how much they enjoy their new residence, how great the food is and just how special every member of the Pacifica team really is. What initially was thought to be a dreaded experience, turned out to be one of the smartest decisions we have made. One word comes to mind when I think about Pacifica Forest Trace and that's "WOW"!

Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace is absolutely a wonderful Senior Living Community for older adults. The Residents of Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace are very friendly and the staff is very caring staff. The Management team and the staff sincerely strive on a daily basis with making sure the Residents are happy. Great food & Entertainment! Beautiful grounds. Terrific accommodations. It is obvious why this Community has been successful for 28 years!

My father had been a resident of your facility for many years and later decided to transfer into the Assisted Living section. My father was always treated with the respect and dignity that he deserved. The members of the staff have been wonderful and caring to my family as well. I am so thankful and grateful to everyone at Pacifica Forest Trace for providing a beautiful, clean, safe, loving and caring environment for our loved ones. Sadly, I lost my father recently and the terrific staff at Forest Trace have kept me strong and faithful during this time of grief. God Bless All of You. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Pacifica Forest Trace is a unique and special community. The residents and their families appreciated the clear communication and fine care they received during the hurricane. The Executive Director Cambell Epes set the tone and his staff followed suit. There was plenty of great food and entertainment throughout. This gorgeous 73 acre gated property is very different - mainly because the residents are happy! You can't fake that. Come and see for yourself

My parents had an excellent experience for the 6 months that they lived at Pacifica Forest Trace. The facility and grounds are very nice, the staff is terrific, and the director, Campbell Epps, went out of his way to accommodate my parents in a variety of challenging situations. It was also well priced in comparison with other comparable facilities. I recommend it without hesitation.
