My parents have called Discovery Village home for the last two years. They have really enjoyed it! Their apartment is beautiful and well maintained. They love the amenities and having cleaning services and delicious meals available to them. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive. They were surprised and pleased with how quickly they made good friends. As their daughter who had her parents come here from out of state, I am grateful that they have a place they love so much. It has exceeded everybody's expectations!

My mother has recently made Inspirations at Town Center home. I looked at many different options for her as she was moving from out of state. The level of comfort and warmth I felt when I first stepped into the lobby and sat down with Isabelle eliminated all other competition. ITC is as beautiful and luxurious as a luxury hotel or luxury apartment building and boasts resort like features (zero entry pool, outdoor fire feature, pickle ball court, putting green, adorable dog park, gorgeous lobby with waterfall, state of the art fitness center, salon, game room with pool table and bar, lovely restaurant like dining room, salon, library with card tables, beautifully designed hallways and common spaces, concierge desk, etc etc!) The apartments themselves are visually stunning and have been thoughtfully constructed with their very purpose in mind- a gorgeous home that takes into account ease of mobility, and resident safety. I selected a wonderful two bedroom apartment with views of the pool area from both the unit and from the spacious balcony. The apartment has both a bath with a tub and another with a walk in shower, a large kitchen with bar counter, built in desk, large island and tons of cabinet space. There is a washer and dryer and a large coat closet. Down the hall there is a storage room where we have a designated space for her holiday decorations, suitcases, etc. The move in process proved simple. All questions are answered, and nothing seems beyond the capability of the staff. My mother was assured that she is the client and to ask for anything she requires assistance with. I accidentally broke a light fixture during the unpacking and it was replaced the following day. The level of confidence and calm delivered by the staff is a comfort to all. The residents of the community have been beyond welcoming. In addition to the Ambassador assigned to assist with my mom's entry into life at ITC, we were personally welcomed by so many delightful people all of whom had wonderful things to say about the facility and were genuinely excited to meet and include my mother. I cannot say enough to accurately express extreme my gratitude to the staff and to the residents, or to accurately convey my excitement over my mother's future. There are so many activities for my mother to get involved in, so many kind people to make friends with, and a team of knowledgeable medical professionals on hand to address needs as they arise. My mom has found her forever home and we are thrilled!

What a little hidden gem in the Deerwood area. I met with Deborah Northrup, Senior Lifestyle Counselor, to take a tour of this facility and what a beautiful place! Deborah was very knowledgeable of the entire process of helping out with placement of our senior loved ones.

We really enjoyed the tour of Discovery Village at Deerwood. Sondra Sharpe was so nice, allowed us to take our time, and answered all our questions. A couple of days later, they hosted my mother and sister for lunch and a tour for my mother. Mom said the food was good and everyone there was very friendly.

It’s very stressful, moving to an independent living or assisted living community as an octogenarian. After having an unpleasant experience at another facility, my mother-in-law opted to move to Discovery At Deerwood. On her move-in date January 3 she was welcomed by the entire Discovery staff.All were very welcoming, including residents , who made an effort to make her feel accepted. That’s very telling of how the occupants feel about their community. Day 1 she felt this was home. Particular mention should be paid to Miranda the lifestyle coordinator who greeted us on arrival, who literally, and figuratively, held my mother-in-law by the hand, and remained with her for the majority of that day. She patiently answered every question regardless of how trivial. Thank you all for your kindness and commitment to the community.Robert Lalli

My wife and I moved into this Senior Living Facility in December and it was the best move we ever made. The entire staff and residents made us feel welcomed from the first day and continues to assure us that we made a wise choice. The dining experience is exceptional and there are many activities that allow you to participate in as often as often as you care to. The apartments are very comfortable and well-equipped with appliances, TV, internet access & DVR included in the rent. If you are looking for a senior living facility I recommend Inspirations at Town Center.

Inspiration @ Town Center is nothing short of absolutely amazing! This place where one considers home is Safe, Secure & Filled with many amenities & entertaining events. The staff is truly extraordinary pulling out all the stops, while doing their best to provide a pleasurable experience for all their residents. Their recent "Havana Nights" event transported their residents & guest back in time to the joyful days of their youth. Absolutely delicious food, upbeat music & dance brought the youth out of the majority of their residents. A wonderfully exquisite place indeed! Stop by & ask for Isabelle for a tour. You'll be glad you did

Though at the moment I'm not in the market to move anywhere, I like to tour new places to see what options are out there. Inspirations is the best on so many levels. After the initial visit where I was shown the entire beautiful facility, I was invited to several of their events, which are open to the public. This place is resort living at its best. It's brand new. The staff is excellent--friendly and efficient. The residents I've spoken to are happy with their decision to live here. Food I've had is excellent. Another plus is the location--it's close to everything. Stores and restaurants, medical facilities are just a few minutes away, while the beach is a short ride. Highly recommend!

The residents are friendly and welcoming to guests, the staff are attentive and professional and the faculty is 5 !!!! I've lived in some pretty amazing places around the world. This is a beautiful place that my mother in law stays in. Id live here if they would let me!! Its like a country club and the people that work here are super nice. Its a Quality facility in a convenient location to anywhere in Jacksonville. Ive had her in another facility and this one is way nicer! I highly recommend it. My mother-in-law has dementia and has been well provided for here....

I was assisting an 89 year old who felt she was not ready to move in to a retirement community. After visiting a few in the area, we came across Inspired Living and WOW! It was a done deal for my older friend. The building is new, gorgeous and the staff is exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable. They cater to individual needs and truly care for the people making this difficult life move. From what Ive witnessed thus far, Im confident my friend made one of the best decisions of her life by moving in to Inspired Living!
