Homes get many bad raps, in my days i've seen a few and when that occurs its almost always called for. Needless to say my grandmother was committed to this facility and I was nervous. I was hoping all would go well. It wasn't the easiest on her, even so I couldn't of asked more of the staff. The people who work here are absolutely phenomenal and I hope this establishment stays open for decades if not longer. They bring hope when it comes for the system that cares for the ones we love and care for. They care. They listen. They pay attention. They're people just like us, and they apply those qualities in such a beautiful way. Bravo guys, you have my vote, and ive heard im quite the tough cookie to crack when it comes to family. <3

The staff at The Benton House is amazing. They care for the patients as family and keep the family members of the patients well informed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a facility for your loved one.

I toured 7 places before I found Benton House. As soon as I walked in I knew this was the right place for my LO. The staff is attentive, the facility is clean and comfortable. I really like the layout of the memory care community where everyone gathers in the common area.

We moved my Mom into the assisted living at Benton House at Oakleaf in July of 2018 where she is safe, compassionately cared for and loved. I was amazed at how well she adjusted after a little time and finally became a part of the community. A few days before Covid virus shut everything down, we moved her into the memory care unit at the same location. What a blessing that was because her dementia is progressing and she needs that extra care and help. There are wonderful people working at Benton House....from the front desk, to the administrator, the nurses, to all of the staff that provide room care, clothes washing, and custodial service, as well as the serving staff and chefs in the kitchen! It just touches my heart that they know what my Mom loves to eat and wear. They will even take time to dance with her when the mood hits! They know her by name and accept her hugs readily. There is one special lady in the memory care unit~ Miss Barbara~ who I feel goes above and beyond for my Mom while I cannot be there. I know she loves all of the residents as well. That means the world to me and I will never forget her kindness and the FaceTime calls she makes so I can visit with Momma! Benton House at Oakleaf has worked so hard to maintain a strict, healthy and clean program and Im so thankful for their efforts! Sincerely, Karen Mihalik

This is the very best of the best residential living communities. My mom is in memory care and every minute of every day they go above and beyond for her. From Richard , the director, all the way down. I go thru my days knowing mom is in great hands. Love to all and cant wait to hug every one of the staff. Special shout out to Barb in memory care for her special hands on that she gives.

I was at wits end with my Mother who had Dementia with Lewy Bodies. My husband and I have been caring for her for almost 5 years, 3 of which we lived together. Its hard being a loved one and care taker. We had not had any sleep in weeks and we were completely worn out when I found Benton House. I was on the internet and Lisa Picard from Benton House reached out to me and I can tell ypu, she was a gift from God, not only for me and my husband but ultimately for my mother as well. She was kind and compassionate and understood exactly what we needed. The staff and Lisa helped me through an extremely hard time. They offered respuit care and a 30 day program until we decided to make it her home. The staff treated her with kindness and respect and alot of patience. I want to thank everyone at Benton House for helping myself, my mother and our family with caring for my Mom. I especially want to thank Lisa Picard because she knew exactly what I needed and she was kind and understanding.I also want to do a thank you to Barb as well. She runs the memory care area and she is wonderful with the residents. THANK YOU to all the staff!!!! From the bottom of our hearts. Benton House was truly a blessing for us!!

I am so impressed with the staff at Benton House at Oakleaf. The residents havent even moved in yet, but if you were to visit, you would find yourself immersed with those warm feelings of being an important guest in someones home...the obvious feelings you would like your parents to have when the time comes for them to make their transition to senior living. Kudos to Julia Zoss and her team!
