I searched for a year for the right facility to place my 96 and 97 year old parents. Arbor Terrace is the perfect place. You feel the warmth and friendliness as soon as you walk into the door from both the staff and the residents. The facility is medium size and easily navigated by both my wheelchair bound parents. The food is excellent, the activities are plentiful and diverse, and the field trips are well planned. My 96 year old mother has learned to play dominoes and my father, who I didn't even know he knew how to play, has joined in. Of utmost importance is that there are physicians and nurse practitioners available, nurses there 24/7, lots of aides to assist with activities of daily living, a great cleaning and maintenance staff, and excellent chef and dining room attendants. The administrative staff are always available to chat with family and residents. The facility is spotless and smells good. I highly recommend Arbor Terrace.

Arbor Terrace was like a home away from home for my Aunt Rosalie .You felt welcomed and at home from the minute you walked into the lobby and saw the beautiful seasonal decorations, or sat down to enjoy a cup of cappuccino and a pastry. I recently visited Arbor Terrace for a tour with Musi. I like the fact that it is a small community, with just enough amenities, and I also like the cleanliness. I met and spoke with a few residents, and felt a strong sense of community and contentment among the residents and staff. I also had the pleasure of meeting the head nurse, Jamie. Throughout the tour Musi was able to answer all of my questions and it is apparent Musi understands what our expectations are. I hope to revisit in several months when I come back down to Florida, when mom is ready to make a decision.

We explored Arbor Terrace in Cooper City as a potential assisted living residence for our dad. The two really nice representatives that met with us, Musi and Mary, were excellent in presenting all aspects of this very nice facility. They answered all our questions in detail and were so accommodating. In selecting a facility you're also evaluating the expertise and compassion of the people working at the facility and Musi and Mary gave us great confidence that this facility should be near the top of our list. Ultimately we chose another facility but had our dad been assessed to need more intensive memory care then Arbor Terrace would have been our first choice. We're keeping in touch with Musi and Mary because when the time comes that our dad needs a higher level of memory care then Arbor Terrace will be our top choice.

We came to tour last week, and met with Musi the Sales Director. She was great. We toured the facility. My mom has a walker and it would have been difficult for her to tour the grounds. I am happy to be able to tell other families about my experience with The Sheridan. My dad has Alzheimer's and has been living here since April of 2022. This experience has been amazing for my father. Everyday that I see him he tells me how happy he is and how much he loves living there . The staff are kind , loving , considerate and treat him and our family with respect. He loves his care takers and often verbally expresses it to them. The food is good and is served restaurant style. I find his room and common areas extremely clean. My father is always well groomed and smells nice . Having him living there is taken a burden off my heart. I know that when I can't visit him, he is surrounded by friends that are like family to him. He is much more social with others. This was the best decision our family has made. Don't hesitate!

My mom really enjoyed living there. She had a great apartment and participated in the brain games. She loved playing wordle, chess and scrabble. She also enjoyed the physical activities. Wow! I want to thank the Sheridan at Cooper City staff for going above and beyond to help me move my mom into their beautiful community in record time. I was overwhelmed and apprehensive about moving my mom from a physical therapy rehab to assisted living, but I knew she couldn’t go back to living in her condo alone. Nandy really listened and showcased the amenities of their community, greeting residents, fellow staff and visitors with genuine affection and interest as she gave me a personal tour. Musi kindly gave us a virtual tour via WhatsApp on a Sunday because my mom wasn’t able to tour in person. Mary took the time to explain the whole process and patiently answered all my questions while we reviewed the leasing contract. They generously lent us the respite room for a few days so we had time to move mom’s furniture into her 1 BD apartment. The transition is tough for all of us, but everyone we have met so far has been kind, compassionate, friendly and engaging. I know my mom will be well taken care of and thrive in her new environment. We appreciate all that you've done to welcome my mom to your community.

I just did a recent placement with Nandy who worked the weekend and jumped thru hoops to get my client assessed, did the tour with daughter and a video for the mom to see at rehab. Took a tour of the Sheridan at Cooper City today and I was blown away. I toured another facility the same morning, prior to the Sheridan and I left terrified that I would not be able to find a safe, happy, healthy place for my mother. I couldn't help thinking as I drove that if this was what all memory care was like, I would have to keep her in my home, regardless of its toll on me. Before my tour, I was already impressed by both he visitor protocol, which was very secure, and how the staff and assisted living residence interacted. They were talking about an upcoming bridge game and trying to find another player. Everyone was engaged, friendly, warm and happy. I sat with Nandy, who reviewed not only her questions, but all of the questions on my very extensive check list. She was respectful, earnest, straightforward, and caring. We then toured the memory care (2 of the three 'neighborhoods') where I was able to see the interactions with the various residence, the staff, all of the amenities and planned activities. I saw tomatoes, basil, and butterfly plants growing in the enclosed garden, the spa room with a walk in jacuzzi tub, and one of the apartments. I was lucky enough to meet Sarah, the nurse who was obviously very busy, but took the time to greet me and chat for a moment about my mom. I can not tell you the relief I felt after this experience, to the point that I gave Nandy a hug at the end of the tour. I love my mother and this transition will be very difficult, but I already feel such a warmth and welcome at the Sheridan of Cooper City that I have absolute confidence I am making the right choice. Thank you Nandy, Tamika, and Sarah, who all made my first experience so positive and restored my faith that there is better, happier care for my mother on the horizion.

My parents, both in their 90's and my mom recovering from hip replacement surgery reached a point where living alone in their home of more than 70 years became more than they could manage. What made it worse, it happened in the very beginning of Covid. My sister and I did much research and we chose the Sheridan at Cooper City. Not possible we could have chosen better. Clean, affordable and filled with kind and caring people. The food was great and the activities (led by Paula) were amazing. In mid 2020 my mother fell and had to have a second hip replacement surgery. In February of 2021 my father passed away. The Sheridan staff gave my mother extra special attention and she began participating (after much encouragement from Paula) many of the activities an made new friends. When my mother fell ill with a UTI in December and was hospitalized for 4 weeks before passing away at age 95, Mary Buchanan and her staff reached out to me frequently to check on her and ask how I was doing. They worked with me moving out and with all the little things that had to get done with the kindness and compassion that they showed during their stay. If you have a loved one and are looking for a quality ALF, look no further than The Sheridan at Cooper City. I have no doubt you will love Mary and her Team.

I can't say enough good things about this facility! My mother had lived in two other assisted living places in the area prior to the Sheridan and we were not happy with the service or buildings at either. The Sheridan was a breathe of fresh air. Every time I spoke to my mother she told me how happy she was there. I could also see the difference when visiting or calling for info. When I left a message for the nurses, for example, they actually called me back, something that was not typical at the other places she lived. The building is beautiful and well kept. Her apartment had a surprisingly large amount of closet space, far larger than other facilities we looked at. She was also fortunate to get a lake view. Unfortunately she recently passed away. I'm glad she had a chance to enjoy her last days at the Sheridan.

We have our mother at Sheridan for 1 year now. Mom is in the Memory care unit, and she is not very easy to deal with. I don't know how these care givers have the patience to deal with her and the other residents who live there. The rooms are always clean, food always served colorful and fresh. Every dinner is served with fresh vegetable salad. My mother doesn't like lettuce, so Mary cuts up tomatoes and cucumbers into small pieces for her every day. The dinning room, living room and the gardens are always clean and beautiful. The memory care section, just promoted one of their care gi ers to be assistant to the entertainment manager Her name is Tamika, she is tall pretty and always happy. Every day Tamika organizes games and trivial Pursuit, all the residents attend, and they love her I am very glad I moved mom into Sheridan. Thank you all.

Thank goodness I moved my mom here in February. She was able to get settled in before COVID. When I toured I met Marilyn, their head nurse. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. I was impressed with how clean the place was and mom has also told me how clean everything is. This was a hard decision but one that had to be made. Thank you Marilyn and Ryan for all that you did to make my mom feel at home. My mom had a blast at their Cinco De Mayo party, likes their food and I rest easier at night knowing they are looking out for my mom. I would recommend, and have recommended The Sheridan, to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.

The Sheridan at Cooper City has a wonderful staff and is a fabulous facility. The amenities are second to none. I had the pleasure of staying here during Hurricane Irma and everyone was so nice and attentive to my needs. The staff did a great job at putting everyone at ease and providing the utmost care. The Program Director did a great job of keeping the residents occupied through all of the activities. The food was also very good and the dining room staff did a great job of serving the residents. If you are looking for a state of the art facility, with top notch amenities, a variety of daily activities, and total care, then look no further then the Sheridan at Cooper City.
