I showed up on a Saturday without an appointment, Michael the owner offered to give me a tour immediately. I was so impressed, the place was spotless the staff treated the residents with love, they treated them like family. The music therapy during the week and music for entertainment on the weekends was awesome some danced and others clapped hands and some sang. My mother was very happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend Mi Casa.

Placing my mom in Hospice was a very hard decision but finding a senior care facility that I approved of was even more difficult. Travelling from Virginia to south Florida made the extensive search even more overwhelming. Then I found Mi Casa. The owner, Mr. Rosenberg answered all my questions and made my mom’s transition from living in her home to Mi Casa easy and safe. The staff were compassionate, caring and professional who always kept in touch with me. I wish I could have placed my mother in Mi Casa sooner. My mom recently passed away at age 98 but I’m thankful to the staff for providing great care throughout her stay. I highly recommend Mi Casa to any family going through similar difficult times.

My parents have been residing at MiCasa Senior Living for almost 3 years. They have been married for 66 years and Mom has late stage Parkinson’s and Dementia so she needs Memory Care. Dad just needs assisted living care. He has a weak heart and uses a wheelchair. I found MiCasa Senior Living has been able to care for them both and they are sharing a room with 2 hospital beds. I have been able to keep them together and they have been receiving very compassionate care from the caregivers. They are always clean personally and the facility is clean and beautiful. I am thankful to the staff that have been able to care for my parents and they are happy there!

My husband has been at La Casa for about nine months. Although I’ve had some challenges, the staff has been super supportive. Recently after changes were made in administrative staff I was a little concerned because I didn’t know what to expect. Billy Gibson, the manager meet with me and assured me that the best interest of the residents was always first. She has been a God sent, Working in every capacity to keep things running smoothly. I have been very pleased with the care my husband is receiving. The communication is great and the cooperative between Billy and the agency staff that come to the facility to provide patient care is excellent.

For anyone who is looking for an ALF but will not be local to South Florida, MiCasa is an excellent choice. The staff provides consistently good care. They have a few techniques that are different from what I saw with other comparable ALFs, but these all contribute to a better care environment. I was always able to get in contact with the care staff quickly, and they provided prompt answers to any questions that I had. Selecting a facility can be an overwhelming process, but you can trust Mike, Claudia, and Cristina to provide care and grace for your loved one.

The nurses and their assistants are very attentive. Several staff speak Spanish and English. They always put their residents first. The owners are hands on and make sure everything is done correctly. I’m a home health RN and I’ve been coming to Mi Casa Senior Living ALF for several years to see many residents. I truly can say this facility is genuine with their care. The staff is caring and are knowledgeable about how to deal with different situations.The Administrator, Claudia and Care Coordinator, Cristina are amazing. They are attentive and caring. Even when they’re off work, they answer calls to any issues and reply to resident family for whatever their needs. The Founder/Owners, Mike and Rachel are present every day, involved in every aspect of the facility. It’s like a well knit family. I enjoy visiting and caring for the residents there, mainly because of the support and assistance of the staff.

My family & I really tried our best to appreciate this Senior living Center. It wowed us with its sleek modern & clean interior. Solid construction, location and emergency generator were key to us. Since this is the most important decision any family has to make, most everything must check the boxes, right? Unfortunately, in the very short time, 4 months, that my father was there he was rushed to the hospital 3 times. We understand that he was 96 years old but he was aware & had minimal health issues. Here is our take; Mi Casa is short of staff; language barrier was an issue, communication with staff was very frustrating, There is 0 physical activity i.e. standing, walking. Minimal attention when he asked MULTIPLE times to go to the restroom. We were told its just a sensation . We bought a reclining wheelchair so he can at least be stretched out. Which was never done. We had family members & paid aides visiting on a daily basis to make sure he was up and out of his wheelchair to circulate his legs. We did bathroom runs, requested they change his dirty clothing. Asked for q-tips to clean his ears. The few ladies that made a difference (maybe only 2) showed attention and seemed sincere. The rest of the staff were definitely not qualified to work there. They push for you to switch primary doctors and leave your insurance company. Lastly, my father was rushed to the hospital with an severe urinary infection & a huge testicular infection. This was the result of sitting in a wet depend all day. Unfortunately, he never left the hospital. He passed away on July 9th. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Please pay lots of attention with your decision. I understand that not every place will take care of our parents as we would love them to. The above details that I mentioned are our personal negative experience with Mi Casa.

My mother has been a resident at MiCasa Senior Living since Nov. 1st of last year. I went with MiCasa for a number of reasons. First of all, Nir (Director, Placement and Family Relations) was the 1st representative of an ALF who reached out to me when I commenced my search into placing my mother. He spent almost an hour on the phone and provided so much information. I truly had a positive vibe after speaking with him. I have to admit that I was desperate, had little to no idea about ALFs, and had to get my mother into an ALF urgently. Nir's father (Michael) gave me tour of the facility on Fri., Oct. 28th. When I asked him if there was availability and if so, how soon could I take my mother. Michael replied, "Is Monday, the 31st, early enough?" What a relief! The first thing that got my attention was how clean the facility was. It did not remind me of a rehabilitation center, hospital setting, or even other ALFs (side note: my deceased father was in an ALF that was not the most desirable place). In addition, MiCasa does not have that "sterile" smell or foul odor. Taking into consideration that MiCasa is a memory care facility, I liked the fact that it is quite secure so that everyone has to be granted access not only to enter but also exit. I have to admit that I heard so many negative stories about ALFs, and I was quite nervous and skeptical as to how my mother would settle in or if she would all out reject the place and be miserable. However, that was not the case at all. She has made much progress both physically and mentally. She has adjusted well. We are both quite grateful to all everyone at MiCasa (owners, assistants, caretakers, nurses, doctor, front desk staff, and kitchen employees) because they truly go out of their way to help both the families and residents. Everyone is so caring and patient with the residents. I count my blessings everyday that Nir had called me. MiCasa has been a godsend. Eternally grateful!

I am so happy with MiCasa Senior Living. It's immaculately clean, the staff is competent and friendly and the ownership, Mike and Nir, are engaged, caring, and professional. My father has Parkinson's Disease and Parkinsonian Dementia. It's a rough disease but the team at MiCasa are on top of his medications, issues and overall happiness. The kitchen is clean and the facility is welcoming. I'm so thankful that we found MiCasa. I highly recommend them.

This facility is very pretty but behind those doors is all madness, the OWNER [Name Removed] PAINTS a very Damm good picture so he can get residents so he can talk down to them just like how he talks to his staffs. This guy is not fit to run an organization that cares for the Elderly. [Name Removed] has NO respect for HUMANS because he owns the facility, and he says he can do anything he WANTS because FLORIDA is a NO FAULT STATE. I'm so glad my aunt is no longer at his facility. [Name Removed] employs dumb people off the streets with no Qualifications so he can pay them peanuts in which result to mistreatment of the elderly Residents. My aunt told me that Taylor is very DISRISPECTFUL person and talk like she's from the streets. [Name Removed] is a man with NO KNOWLEDGE how to run and conducts a A.L.F. Before my aunt went to sleep in heaven, she also said that the food is nasty, and she would not feed it to no one, it's very bland no taste at all, her clothes always be missing, as far as I can see Hes all about the MONEY and NO CARING for the residents that puts the money in his pocket. We are extremely pleased with the care that MiCasa Senior Living is giving to our mother. It is family owned and operated. Mike and Nir (father and son) are involved in the every day workings of this facility. Both Mike and Nir are always available via phone call, text or email and we always get a quick response. There is a full time nurse who is excellent. When we send an email to her, it's answered almost immediately. There is a doctor that visits on a weekly basis who is also quick to respond to questions or concerns. The facility is spotlessly clean and the staff really have a heart for helping the elderly. Compassionate and professional hospice care The hardest most emotional and confusing thing we had to do was place our mom in hospice. When you make the the decision to look for an assisted living facility for a loved one there is a long list of requirements that need to be met before a facility is good enough to be "the one" you look for a great staff, the level of care ...ultimately you look for that perfect place for your loved one. I feel we have found that with MiCasa. It has been a positive experience since the first visit. All of the staff are amazing, kind, caring, knowledgeable and always available to talk and keep you updated. There are so many little things that they take care of to make sure their residents are comfortable and happy. The facility is top notch, secure, clean, bright and safe. Wait i almost forgot about "chef" and the great meals that are prepared fresh daily....my Grandmother loves good food!
