My sister relocated from NY and moved into 5 Star Premier in Dec of 2021. She loves her apartment and adjusted very quickly. Living alone in NY was quite lonely for her. In her new environment she gets live entertainment 4-5 times per week, plays bingo, does excercise with physical therapists in addition to daily chair classes. She is sometimes too busy to talk on the phone. Her life has changed for the better at 5 Star and I highly recommend.

Five Star Senior Living of Hollywood certainly holds true to its name as it is just like a 5-star resort. The amenities and its surroundings are beautiful, they offer a lot of activities, the staff is friendly and attentive, the residents look happy in fact, we heard just that from a few. Our visit took place during their Halloween celebration held in the pool area, we could see everyone having fun in their costumes, enjoying music, dancing or simply observing with delight. It had the feel of a real community of friends enjoying time together!The apartments at this facility are spacious, nice and quite clean. Our exceptional sales counselor, Darline Osser is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and reassuring. After visiting several places we decided to sign a lease with Five Star of Hollywood for our mom and look forward to a wonderful living experience.

My parents celebrated their 49th anniversary on April 15th 2021. They are residents at Five Star Premier Residences of Hollywood. Darlene Osser, Maura Bernarding, Lisa Calvet, and Jill Aaron, organized a wonderful dinner table for my parents. The table was decorated with balloons, confetti, and a remarkable frame of my parents wedding photo! Who does that! Amazing! That moment had me tear up a bit. Thank you all for the incredible experience bestowed onto my parents. Thank for the staff that welcome them daily, especially Ellen. My parents communicate in American Sign Language. Five Star has created an amiable and comfortable environment for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing couple. Thank you.

Almost four years ago, just shy of 96th birthday, our mother moved from her condo in Boca Raton to an independent living apartment at Five Star Premier Residences of Hollywood. Since her arrival, everyone there in every capacity has been friendly, caring and supportive. We are grateful that she continues to strive and loves living there, is well looked after and feels safe. My name is Sheila Gordon, a 91 year old independent woman. I am following in the footsteps of my older sister and older brother who both lived in Five Star facilities. Living here at Five Star Hollywood for 2 years, I am happy, feeling safe and cared for. We have lots of good food and entertainment. The people who work here are dedicated and also seem to be genuinely happy to be doing their jobs! They are friendly and act professionally from the concierge desk, the dining room and kitchen staff, entertainment coordinators, housekeeping, nurses office and the van drivers. God bless our beloved directors, Rene and Jill, who follow the State Health Department rules to keep us safe!

My mother has been a resident of the Assisted Living wing of 5 Star for 3.5 years and our family is most grateful for the care shes been given . Would she rather have stayed in her own home ? Yes , certainly ! She was an active and accomplished woman , but given her deteriorating health and mobility , this seemed the best option and indeed it has been ! The facility is clean and beautifully kept , you are greeted with a smile and staff who really get to know and care for the residents . My mother has received so much support , love on an ongoing basis from her own nurses and CNAs , to the attentive dining room staff , lovely manicurist , maintenance staff , drivers and more . They always cheer her on and encourage her to be as independent as possible . I always say its like living on a cruise ship -you can choose to stay in your room , or there are lots of stimulating activities to choose from -exercise , painting , Crafts and horticulture classes , a choir , lectures on art , politics , books and current events , very good food and live entertainment , ( she especially loves Dean Richards ) movies , religious services , BINGO and more. They have festive activities and celebrations on every holiday where staffs from every dept. join in the fun. Many thanks to the entire team who work so hard to make this challenging stage of her ( and all the residents ) life as healthy , pleasant and safe as possible .

My mom has lived in living since the community opened. My favorite team is the current team; they are always available, loving and nurturing to my mom. My mom recently moved from assisted living to memory care and this was such a smooth transition. The timing was everything, they knew the best location for my mom to very little disruption, she loves the smaller environment and she continues to live her life as large as she did in assisted living. Caydance keep loving your residents and my mom!

This is a wonderful place all around. My parents spent five years living in an apartment in the independent living wing and recently moved to the assisted living wing, and both experiences have been wonderful. The staff, the nursing, the administration, the environment, the food, the apartments, the activities, and the demonstrated commitment to a resident-centered culture at Premiere Five Star has transformed my parents in the highest and best ways. Every employee puts the resident first! This culture of caring is so infectious that, from what my parents have experienced as fairly new residents, all the residents mirror back that same caring and kindness. My parents have been here now for almost 2 months. They call me daily to report on the delicious meals they’ve had, the activities and events they’ve participated in, and the kindness and caring they have received from administration, nursing, staff, and residents alike. Wow! There is no greater joy than to know your aging parents are thriving and safe, even when their bodies and minds are aging.

I have 32 years in Law Enforcement, so when looking for a assisted living facility for my 94 (92 at the time) mother I left no stone unturned. I cant not say enough about Five Star Premier Residences and the staff. My Mother has lived their for over two years and has thrived in the positive, energetic and safe atmosphere. The activities, events and outings keep her active and her mind sharp. The food is excellent and the staff is top shelf! Ive never worried about her safety or health when she has been sick.... Health and Safety are a 5 star priority! 5 Star is a place where you can live independently and as you need more assistance, its available. My Mom has a 1BR apartment and feels like she is in a high class hotel. Dont take my word for it, go in and check it out for yourself...Tell them Barbara and Ernie sent you!

I first came to this community in 2006, when it was called Classic Residence by Hyatt. I had no idea that 12 years later I'd be living in the same community that I used to visit a dear friend of mine. Here I am today, happy, relaxed, well taken care of, with new friends in Five Star Premier Residences of Hollywood. I play the piano twice a week for my fellow neighbors, play bingo and enjoy delicious meals at a luxurious dining room with great service and professional attention, like you would at a five star restaurant. I have my own garden where I keep my hobby going cultivating orchids. Here we have activities every day, exercises, a heated swimming pool, transportation to shopping malls and doctor's offices. Thank you Five Star Hollywood!

From the moment we walked into Five Star Premier Residences of Hollywood and met with the terrific sales staff - Lisa, Alice and Darline - we knew we were on the right path to choosing the best place to care for my father who has Alzheimer's. They made the process we had to go through as easy as possible. His evaluation to determine the level of care he would need was done by their nurse, Karla, who is the Director of the Assisted Living Unit, and she handled it with much patience and in a caring manner. During his current stay here she has made sure to continue to assess the progression of his disease and make valuable recomendations to our family for the best way to handle his future well being while living here. A very nice touch in the AL Unit is that Karla has a well-trained therapy dog named Ellie who she brings to work with her. Ellie is very sweet and gentle and is always ready to give any of the residents as much unconditional love and companionship as they might need at any particular time. The staff in the memory care section of the AL Unit are very adept at their jobs. Cliff, who is the supervisor of the unit, knows each and every resident's special needs and always has a smile on his face and a hug ready for anyone who might need it. Patrick, who does the day-to-day activities is excellent in engaging the residents with enthusiasm, a great sense of humor and much respect. Angela, one of the nurses who has the responsibility of administering the medications always figures out the best approach in getting even the most stubborn person to take their medicine. All of the CNAs who take care of the people in this special unit are dedicated and handle the residents with much understanding and care. We appreciate everyone who works in this unit and at Five Star. Our family knows that my father is in good hands and that we made an excellent decision in having him live here.

My mother has been a resident for nearly four years now having started in independent living and now residing in assisted living. She has been well cared for and is very happy at Five Star. She appreciates the atmosphere, the choice of activities and the caring attitude of the entire staff. My brother and I live out of town and Five Star has made it possible for my mother to stay in South Florida near her sister and friends. While they have always been great, we appreciate the efforts during Hurricane Irma when dedicated staff stayed at the facility (which lost power) to keep the residents safe and sound through that difficult period. They had a back up generator and detailed plans for the emergency. This challenge was a chance for them to shine.

Incredible customer service and living experience. My mother in law recently moved in to this community. From the first time I spoke with a sales associate on the phone I was amazed with the level of customer service in comparison to other Hollywood senior living centers. The sales team took time to listen to our and my mother in laws needs. They gave suggestions on steps we could take to help her mentally, physically and with navigation insurance and medicare. Then, when it was time to visit, they sat down with us and listened again. Never once did we feel rushed or not cared for. On our tour, a resident came up to us and told us how much she loved living there. It was completely unsolicited, and I could see the resident was genuine. The property is secure as well which also gives us peace of mind. Within the first week of living there, all the supervisors and key employees visited my mother in law to see how her move was going and to offer assistance. We are lucky enough to live nearby but if you are moving a parent or family member to this facility and you are from out of town, you can rest freely knowing they are in excellent hands!

I cannot say enough about the outstanding care at Five Star Premier Residences of Hollywood. My mom, Jessica, moved into Five Star in 2012, soon after my dad passed away, and has felt at home since day 1. She started in independent living and has since moved to assisted living. I cant thank the management and staff at Five Star enough for all that they do for the residents. From the management and sales teams to the nurses, aids, receptionists, and other support staff… everyone has been amazing. Have to mention the food staff as well… the food and service are top notch. My mom is so happy and very comfortable there... in her aging years. It is so nice, especially with her health and memory issues, not to have to worry about her during the day. I should also mention that the best care was given to the residents during Hurricane Irma. Their preparations and backup plans… and onsite dedication of the staff and management during the storm… were amazing. Constant communications between Five Star and the resident families eliminated a lot of the concerns we had before and during the storm. In fact, when we saw my mom the day after the storm, she acted as if nothing happened… lol! The residents were well cared for. The residents at Five Star are always treated with respect and love. We know my mom is always in good hands. My family and I really appreciate it. Thank you Five Star!!

IT HAS BEEN RATED AS ONE OF THE FIVE TOP HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS IN THE UNITED STATES. I HAVE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE SYSTEM FOR TWENTY YEARS AND SOME OF THE FINEST DOCTORS IN THE COUNTRY ARE ON THEIR STAFF. THE MAINTENANCE STAFF UNDER PEDRO AND DENISE FOR ANSWERING ALL OF OUR NEEDS TO MAKE OUR APARTMENT BEAUTIFUL. ALL STAFF MEMBERS HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLE IN ACCOMODATING OUR EVERY NEED. OUR APARTMENT IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL THANKS TO THEIR ASSISTANCE, WITH AN OFFICE, A FISHING ROOM, BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN AND WELL DECORATED LIVING ROOM THANKS TO MY TALENTED DAUGHTERS! THE AMAZING RESTAURANT WITH MOST TABLES HAVING A WATER OR SCENIC VIEW, WITH THE NEVER RESTING DINING ROOM SUPERVISOR, CHRISTINE BENITEZ AND COUNTLESS OUTSTANDING WAITERS AND WAITRESSES. THE GOURMET MENUS PRESENTED DAILY HAVE FIVE OR SIX SELETED ITEMS WITH A REGULAR GROUP OF ALWAYS READY TO ORDER ITEMS. I HAVE MET VERY FEW PEOPLE WITH HER PEOPLE SKILLS AND SHE IS A WONDERFUL STAFF MEMBER WHO HAS SOLVED COUNTLESS PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE COME UP DURING MY ADJUSTMENT IN LIFE AT FIVE STAR! I DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DONE WITHOUT HER WISEDOM AND GUIDING HAND IN MY ADJUSTMENT PROCESS. DURING OUR THREE MONTH RECOVERY PROCESS WE WERE INTRODUCED TO ANOTHER INCREDIBLE PERSON, LAURA MOHAMMED, DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION AT AEGILITY, AND HER AMAZING STAFF AT AGILITY. LAURA IS THAT RARE COMBINATION OF PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL DIRECTOR THAT LEADS BY EXAMPLE AND TREATS ALL STAFF MEMBER AS THEY SHOULD BE TREATED, AS EQUAL MEMBER OF HER TEAM WITH INDIVIDUAL SKILL SETS THAT ALLOW HER TEAM TO BE AS GOOD A PHYSICAL THERAPY GROUP THAT EXISTS IN THE SOUTH FLORIDA AREA. It will be a year in December that I moved into Five Star Premier. I was very fretful, confused and quite frankly a little nuts. But from the moment I moved in I became a new woman. Everyone that helped me get settled was so positive and so eager, from the front desk, the office ladies, the dining room staff, the maintenance men and cleaning ladies. I couldnt ask for anything more. I love my apartment with my terrace. I sit on it every night before my dinner with my gin and tonic. I was placed at a table for my first dinner in the beautiful dining room with 3 ladies. I was told if they werent to my liking I could change tables. I am still sitting with the same 3 ladies! Lucky me! Everyone at Five Star is very friendly making it a happy home. Im 88 years young. This is my last phase of my life and I appreciate the fact that I can spend the next many years in this beautiful place called Five Star Premier.
