My mom moved into this community last week, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. From day one, every single employee has gone out of their way to make sure she has everything she needs. From the administration team to housekeeping, everyone has been incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive. The residents have also been wonderful. So many people have stopped to introduce themselves, say hello, and make my mom feel genuinely welcome. It’s clear that this is a warm and caring community. We are incredibly grateful to know our mom is surrounded by such caring people, and we have complete confidence that she is in the best hands. My mother lives at The Summit. The staff is always very welcoming when I come to visit. Especially, Beth, Roy and Ricky. They have a very entertaining Friday night happy hour with dancing and a singer. They provide classes daily which Mother attends. I even join in on water aerobics. It's a quiet comfortable place with very friendly people!

My mom chose The Summit of Fort Myers after several interviews with other independent living resorts in the area, and we are SOOOO glad she did! The Summit has turned out to be so much more than a "Place for Mom". All the people at The Summit have gone out of their way to make my mom feel safe, comfortable and cared for. She has made so many friends and takes advantage of all the interesting and fun activities made available to her. The dining has been outstanding with the feel of a full menu restaurant on premises and all inclusive. When I visit Mom, she is all smiles and excited with each day she has been there. I visited The Summit of Fort Myers to visit a friend who had recently moved there. From the moment I first walked through the door I was impressed not only by what I saw, but also by the way I felt, the peaceful atmosphere. I became more and more impressed as the day went on. Every staff member I met from the management team to the support personnel were all so personable, dignified, helpful and so well mannered, truly showing personal interest in all of the residents. I was able to enjoy lunch as my friend's guest in a beautiful, spacious outside area by the pool. It was a special lunch in that it was an outdoor BBQ event. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The Summit has an executive chef, kitchen staff and nutritionist that plan and prepare all the meals for the residents. There is also a beautiful indoor dining room. I learned during lunch that members of the management staff were actually helping to serve the food and to clean up! Very impressive. Everywhere I went I could see that the facility is well maintained, clean, bright and cheerful. There are also many conveniences and activities available. When I saw my friend's apartment it eclipsed my expectations. It's just beautiful! Spacious, bright, well appointed. I personally met both Adam and Anita from the management team. Adam gave me a tour of the facility as well as the three styles of units available and was just amazed. Later I was able to visit Anita and get more information and a brochure. My time spent with Anita and Adam was truly a pleasure. My visit to The Summit has opened my eyes to how fabulous independent living in such an environment is. If I had the circumstances presently to move there I'd be signing on the dotted line. Honestly, I can't say enough about The Summit of Fort Myers. A totally “feel good" experience!!!! If you or someone you know is looking for an independent living situation don't hesitate to look at The Summit. This is probably the longest review I've written and have done so even though I'm presently not able to move there. It's that impressive.

It is a nice clean place, but I have seen the menu for next year, and the residents are not happy about the radical reduction of choices that are scheduled to begin in January. Such a shame considering how much they improved the quality of life there last year. Apartments are quite comfortable .

My mom lives at The Summit and I visit often which is always a pleasure not only to see my mom, but to interact with the folks/employees of The Summit. From the Administration to the maintenance workers to the restaurant staff, everyone is always happy to help and make my visit positive and pleasurable. My mom loves her apartment for the same reasons and The Summit staff has been instrumental in making her feel safe and at home. I was searching in the area of Fort Myers, FL for a place for my grandparents to stay. Out of many of the places I was visiting and touring nothing compared to the Summit of Fort Myers. The building itself is well kept and clean, and the employees do the most to make sure you are taken care of. The Summit comes with many amenities such as the gorgeous pool located in the center courtyard to events to keep busy on a weekly basis. It was important to me to look into perks such as the fitness and what kinds of meals would be offered to my grandparents. The Summit had enormous variety of meals and activities to keep their residence well fed with a healthy meal and opportunity for exercise. The Summit of Fort Myers as a package was beyond my expectation.

My dad has been living at The Summit of Fort Myers for one year now and could not be any happier! We toured a few other independent living places in the area and this one was by far the nicest. It literally looks like a resort! We were greeted so welcoming by Tammy at the front desk and everyone there really seems so content and happy, from the staff to the residents. He receives two meals a day and brunch on Sunday and the selection and quality of the food is exceptional! They have a cute little country store, beautiful pool and courtyard, putting green, bocce ball, a hair salon and many activities. The apartment has a dishwasher, microwave, stove and washer/dryer and is a perfect size for him. Also, weekly housekeeping is included in the rent! He is one contented guy!!

My mother and father lived here at the Grand Villa/Summit for several years. I found this place to be very welcoming. The staff is kind and attentive to the residents needs. I had the distinct pleasure of staying at the Summit of Ft. Myers as a guest and peer this past week and had a phenomenal time getting to know the staff and residents. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel so welcomed by the staff as well as the residents. It is clear that they all take pride in their community. My Mother lives at the Summit. It is immaculate. There are activities like billiards, yoga, exercise programs and a wellness center. The dining room is really nice and has a bar where residents can get wine and the menu is varied.. on offer this week was glazed duck, salmon and various soups to name a few menu items. Included in the rent are lunch and dinner M-F, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and brunch on Sunday. Weekly housekeeping is also included in the rent.. The apartments are well maintained. There is a hair and nail salon and a small store for basics. It is built around a courtyard with a pool, putting green and bocce court. This is an independent living facility for 65 and over seniors.

We have been so pleased with the proactive way GV has handled the pandemic. Even before authorities said to keep a distance, GV made the recommendation. Been here since December.. Have experienced all the non world stopping complaints of folks adapting to a new life style which,in my case,I chose Settled in satisfactorily discovering a caring group of adults all pretty much on the same page. Than came this unthinkable scourge. Under the guidance of the owners, we were immediately issued safety rules made to prevent the spread of this virus.. Did the regulations interfere with our way of life Of course. Restrictions and change are not the way folks my age choose to live. I listened to the mother of three who as a doctor,has not been able to go home to be with her family and when asked how she felt,said that this was a time of sacrifice and this was her sacrifice.. I willingly submit to whatever is necessary to keep me and my extended family of GrandVilla_ians and the magnificent staff safe Thank you all

I moved in to Grand Villa January, 15, 2019. We looked at 8 Communities before deciding that Grand Villa was home. My family was unanimous in the decision that, hands down, Grand Villa was it! I have made tremendous friends and have not thought twice about my decision. I have my Mah Jongg groups and have become involved in many of the activities and exercise classes. I always recommend Grand Villa to all of my friends outside of Grand Villa.

We smile each and every day because we live in the best place- Grand Villa! We are very involved in various card games and love attending all the dining experiences. Everyone that lives here at Grand Villa are wonderful neighbors to have. Everyone is so friendly and always smiling. All the staff are amazing and such a pleasure to be around. We have lived here now for about 3 years and been through many of the changes of the building which have all been positive changes over the years. Everything just keeps getting better and better!

I have lived at Grand Villa for nearly three years. The staff and residents are wonderful and the activities are great. However, we are still going through some growing pains. All things considered, it is a great place to live. One of the best things about Grand Villa is location. For me it is central to shopping, drug stores, churches, banks, doctors and hospitals. Another plus for Grand Villa is the apartment size and having a washer/dryer in each unit. A one bedroom unit is 785 square feet which is great size and nicely laid out. All things considered,it is a great place to live.

I am very happy that I live in Grand Villa, it makes me happy and gives me joy to be with so many wonderful people. Nice to share knowledge and friendships,all the nice things I enjoy to do. Also, just a great place to be at my age. I live with people who all relate with my needs and appreciation to live as a senior. Really enjoy all the activities that are held and being able to exercise and take part in what interests me and leave out what I'm not interested in. Grand Villa also has a very caring staff that all care about our needs and give it that extra touch of an experience to help all seniors.

What a neat place! A+= A plus all around. I sit with five ladies for every meal I eat. The cooking is really good and every staff member works really hard and everyone does their best to offer options that appeal to everyone or even make half size orders so its not too much. I also really like all the activities they hold in the community. Its really nice to know they offer so much even tho i do not participate I use that as my down time from my friends so I make time to read and watch the news.

Such a unique place to live! Its almost like living in a 5 star hotel! My husband and I just love it here. Everyday it just gets better and better. Lived here now for only 7 months and the we like the people that all live and work here at Grand Villa. They offer so many exercise classes weekly. The community has a nice intimate setting that does not seem to be too big or too small to get around in. The atmosphere on a whole is amazing. The friendliness and capability of the staff is very important. Not to mention the size of the apartments is greater than you will find any other community. Its absolutely the perfect place with having our own washer and dryers inside your apartment and a full size kitchen with all the appliances for needs already there. And we just adore the pool. The appearance of the building makes you feel your in a European villa. We felt so comfortable signing a lease with the agents there because they answer every question and support you! Still feeling warm and welcome.

The community has fantastic people living here as my neighbors. I have so many new friends, its just too many to count! Grand Villa is perfect for me! My apartment was ready from renovations in time and I just love my washer and dryer in my apartment such a benefit to have in the home. I am happy as a lark. Everyone that lives here are so wonderful and friendly its easy to become friends automatically.

The friendliness and upscale Florida casual feel of community is so welcoming and lovely. Appeals to everyone. This community not only is great for older active folks also great for the families. I’m not a big joiner but I am head of the sunshine committee so that has helped keeping me social. Beautiful pool that is heated. We are in active bunch of residence who love to join different activities and do outings and lunch groups and as a previous person from the cruising industry and food industry I love to eat here in the restaurant. The best thing about this location is the weather the weather just seems to be the best here. Moved all the way from Illinois to be at this community and have loved everything.

Undergoing major renovation to include outstanding beauty salon w spa, state of the art theater, general store, business center, fitness room, bar and grill, pool cabana, billiards/game room, wellness clinic, cafe, post office and new landscaping. Outstanding! Truly senior independent living with a staff that is caring and engaged. A must see!!!

It's a fairly quiet place, they have a golf course, a communal pool, and you can cycle all over the neighborhood.
