I visited the Rose Garden of for Myers and was given a tour by Rochelle. She was extremely helpful and spent a great amount of time with me. Her knowledge of the Assisted Living process seemed very comforting. The beautiful studio apartment is the perfect size with a walk in shower. I highly recommend this community for anyone looking to place a loved one in the hands of caring people. I was impressed!

My older sister has been living here for a few months now. She's doing great! One of many reasons I chose this place for my sister to live in, is because of the meeting I had with Rochelle. She's an amazing person with a heart of gold for older people & will go out of her way to make sure "her residents" are happily taken care of! My sister loves her for that! The facility is clean, oder free & private rooms, which is a must where my sister is concerned at least. With the outbreak of Covid recently within the facility, they took every precaution necessary to ensure the residents were as safe as possible. I'm sure it was quite the undertaking & did the best they could & I'm truly greatful for it! Also have to give a big thanks to Nurse Linda. She's got a good heart too & takes her job very seriously to help those residents make sure they are taken care of! Thank you Rose Garden for making my sister feel welcomed & secure!

I've had a series of unfortunate events that just seem to continue. In the mist of all that going on, I was having serious trouble finding a memory care unit for my dad because of his age and not currently with Medicaid. My dad has late stage dementia/Alzheimer's and is completely incapable of caring for himself at 59yrs old. I had been working with Giselle, an assisted living locator agent who was helping me find someone to care for my dad. After a lengthy hospital stay due to covid, Giselle got me in touch with Rochelle. Rochelle worked with the hospital and me to get my dad transported to their amazing facility. I met with Rochelle, whose official title is “Director of Marketing and Sales”. She personally guided me on a tour of the building, went over all the specific amenities offered and answered any questions I had. She showed me everything they'd be doing with my dad and for my dad. She has been literally a text message away and ALWAYS immediately replies. My dad would not be safe without her help. Rose Gardens is a newly modeled facility with a locked memory care unit (and separate assisted living unit). Rochelle has been literally my saving grace for the last 4 months that my Dad has been in their care. Linda the nurse on duty is also a gem. She truly cares and doesn't put up with anything less than the best care. Cassandra at the front desk is always pleasant and calls me if she has questions or needs to inform me of something. People with dementia can be challenging, to find their ticks, ways to calm them and deal with Sun Downers everyday. It's NOT an easy job. But truth be told, I can actually sleep (literally) now knowing my dad is safe and well cared for. He's put on some weight since he's been there which I'm super happy about. He is clean, shaven, always has brushed hair and clean clothes when I see him. My dad wouldn't be safe and secure without Rochelle. There aren't enough words to express my gratitude to her and the staff of Rose Gardens.

About a month ago my brother and I decided to put our 89 year old dad into assisted living. After researching and touring other facilities, we decided on the Rose Garden. The Rose Garden is a beautiful newer building. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the spacious upscale lobby, the cleanliness of the hallways and the welcoming pleasant staff. I met with Rochelle, whose official title is “Director of Marketing and Sales”. She gave me a tour of the building, went over all the specific amenities offered and answered any questions I might have in regards to my Dad who suffers a bit from dementia. I felt really comfortable with Rochelle and after further discussion, I decided to move my Dad into the Rose Garden. It’s now been one month since he has been in there. He has a private room with his own bathroom. With dementia comes many challenges but the staff is excellent! Not only do they clean his room and do his laundry, they make sure he gets fed every day by knocking on his door to let him know that the dining room is open. If he is sleeping and doesn’t get there, they make sure a tray is sent to his room. If an event is going on, the staff will let him know that as well. So far he has seen The Calendar Girls, some movies, played games, bingo, visited with the dogs, gone to church and even attended Friday Happy Hour. My Dad loves it there. Sometimes he gets a little lost finding his room but since he wears a pendant around his neck issued by the facility, he is never lost for long and there always seems to be a friendly face to help him find his way. He no longer refers to his sleeping quarters as his “room” anymore. He now calls it his “home”. As for Rochelle, I can’t say enough good things about her. She involves herself with each and every resident. If I have have a question or concern about anything, she always checks on it for me and calls me back promptly. My Dad often refers to her as “my friend who helps me a lot” I personally would like to thank everyone at the Rose Garden for taking such great care of my dad.

In my opinion one of the best place for senior citizens. Very clean and staff is caring. Memory care is one of the best in Orlando as we had looked at several in central Florida.

These are my observations from an hour-long tour last week with the Exec Director Leigh Turner. The Rose Garden is a good affordable alternative compared to other facilities costing $5,000+ for Memory Care. Rose Garden is conveniently located near Route 41Tamiami TrailCleveland Avenue just south of the downtown area and 1.5 miles from Lee Memorial Hospital where the on-call doctor has privileges. There is a nurse practitioner on call and onsite two days per week. Rose Garden appears to be the only assisted living facility in Ft. Myers that accepts Medicaid. They have memory care in a secure environment, including a nice spacious open-air courtyard. I observed about two dozen well-groomed and content residents. The facility was clean and attractive. Added bonus for me is it is also close to a major regional airport, Regional Southwest Airport (RSW) in Ft. Myers, Florida. Didnt give full give stars only because my aunt hasnt moved in yet and I dont have real experience with the care level yet.

I have worked at the Rose Garden ALF and MC for well over a year as the Charge nurse who supervises all clinical staff. I have worked at multiple ALFs throughout Lee county and can honestly say this is the ONLY company that thinks about residents first. I truely love working here and treat every single resident like family. Our management team works very hard to ensure that our residents are our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. Our Executive Director spent a whole day explaining in great detail the ins and outs of our reception desk to the young lady who wrote such a blasphemous review of her work experience, after she stated that she was unsure of any of our processes. Our Business Office Manager stayed to cover the receptionist desk when the same young lady no showed to her shift without any explanation. Our Director of Dietary services can still be found in the kitchen at 10pm washing dishes and cleaning tables to ensure our residents have the best dining experience possible. Our residents happiness and wellbeing is our ultimate goal. Yes it is true we have new faces working at our community, working with the elderly is a passion and a commitment that some people are not ready to accept. I invite everyone to come in and experience our wonderful family oriented atmosphere where residents come first.

Kevisha Harris is a disgruntled ex employee who demanded an unrealistic work schedule. When her demands were not met, she quit her job and retaliated by writing a false review about members of the management team and the community. I invite everyone to come tour our community and see the many amenities and family atmosphere our residents and families enjoy here at The Rose Garden of Fort Myers.

My mother is a resident of The Rose Garden and as a family member who often visits the building, I can tell you first hand that since Tracy Noger started as the new Executive Director, the quality of care has gone through the roof, and exceeds our expectation. She is constantly seen out of her office, often in scrubs leading by example with the staff. She has rid the community of problematic employees who didnt provide the care that we expected and are paying for. I can only surmise that Kevisha Harris is one of those disgruntled employees. Also, Mark joined The Rose Garden leading activities with enthusiasm and new ideas and programs, my mother has become quite the social butterfly interacting with other residents at the many events. I highly recommend this very clean and beautiful community and encourage everyone to go by and see for themselves should you be looking for a home for your loved one.

I worked at the Rose Garden and was there during the hurricane this year. Tracy the executive director was on site with a lot of us staff. She pulled long hours and when she is not working can be called to help with a problem. Unfortunately no the staff do not last a long time there but that is because Tracy expects people to give their all and treat the residents the same way they would their own family members. I left to go back to my old job as a server not because of Tracy or anybody. And yes I would put my own mother there if I needed to.
