My past experience has not been favorable to this ALF, and it is mainly due to management. Also the fact that they are changing their license to STANDARD which means less services and care being offered. Before you place loved ones here research the owners and Sinceri management. Kudos to the direct care givers and dining room staff because the were all kind and great, unfortunately working under less than optimal management .

My husband and I have lived here in Calusa Harbour for 5 years now and can't say enough great things about the community! All of our needs as aging seniors are taken care of on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Our physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and recreational needs are met with joy, compassion and thoughtfulness by staff! We are content here and enjoy all friends and staff tremendously! We can't say enough about our choice to come here and thrive!

There are two elevators to serve twenty floors and about 200 residents. When one elevator is out of service, wait times can be excessive and inconvenient.

Moved in June 12th! Love everything about Calusa Harbour downtown Fort Myers including my waterview. All utilities, cable and internet included in rent. Rent covers a lot and includes 2 meals a day in Independent Living. Good food. Rent Includes Housekeeping once a week includes changing and washing sheets. Weekly laundry only 1.00 a pound I put out in hall Wed nite laundry returned wash, folded, hangers if you want. Rent includes Concergie services. Rent includes transportation services. Rent includes maintenance services! Doordash and Walmart deliver groceries and package goods to my door! I pay 25.00 a mo for a reserved parking space. The men and women who work here treat you like family. I am living the life!

I am writing on behalf of my elderly mom who lives here in independent living. The staff are very responsive. The place is clean and well-kept. They did a great job at responding to the needs of their residents during Hurricane Ian by coordinating alternate residences for them. The outcome was an announcement that should another cataclysmic event like Ian occur, residents were going to be on their own to find alternate living accommodations. Understandable from a landlord's perspective. Since first moving into Calusa, the food situation has changed drastically. It is owned by a group that calls itself "Five Star" but the food is not to those standards. Originally, back in 2018, residents had quite a variety of food choices--a great selling point for finicky seniors. However, that changed, first with COVID when the institution had to shift to delivering meals to each room. After COVID, the menu variety never improved. After Ian, things seemed to worsen. Now that occupation and staffing have returned nearly to normal, one would expect a return to the previous high-quality meals and broad choices--but it has not, will likely not return despite large increases in rent. My mother was not the best cook in her day, but when she says that she could do better cooking than the kitchen staff, that says a lot. My wife and I were considering selling and moving to Calusa when we got too old to care for our home, but we have become convinced that we are better looking elsewhere when our time comes. As for Mom, we'll have to search out real options that will not leave her homeless after the next storm.

We moved my grandma in 2 months ago and she can't say enough about how much she loves his new apartment. Great food, fun activities and perfect location. Thank you to the staff for making her feel so welcome and introducing her to new friends.

My brother's welcome was nil to nothing. The transport person brought him to his apartment and dropped him off. I felt the staff(nurses asst.)didn't want to be bothered with questions.

I cant say enough positive things about Calusa Harbour. mom lived here for over 5 years and called it a real home. the staff is beyond caring, respectful, loving, dedicated and competent. she really considered them family. the location is better than most resorts. 5* all the way. the food is excellent, the activities plentiful. the cost is very reasonable! other assisted living facilities (with less services) cost much more. i am so thankful that we found Calusa Harbour when we needed it.

My stepmother started in Skilled Nursing then transitioned to Assisted Living. The community is very welcoming and made the transition seamless for her. I would recommend Calusa Harbor to anyone interested in transition living.

My mom just celebrated her four year anniversary as a resident at Calusa Harbor. She started out in Independent Living and moved to Assisted Living when her health declined and needed more help. She is happy, healthy and safe, in a warm and kind environment. I visit her several times a week. I can say that the staff is really wonderful. The riverside restaurant is always first rate. They have more activities and amenities than she could possibly take advantage of. I could never ever have been able to provide her with better care on my own. I am grateful to all of the people working at Calusa Harbor.
