I am so very happy we found Seagrass Village in Fleming Island for my sister. I see her almost every day and upon entering the building everything is always so clean and fresh. The employees are always cheerful and friendly. My sister especially loves the food. They have an awesome chef and my sister and I call him "Top Chef". The dinning room always looks beautiful and inviting. Our compliments to all the staff. I would like to add that we had a very pleasant experience when signing my sister up to make Seagrass her new home. You are all doing at fantastic job.

I Decided to go to the memory care unit to see what it was about. I was impressed with how engaged the resident were with the activities they were involved in. I loved how involved the caregivers were with the residents! It was a delight to hear laughing and conversations that were happening around me. A lot has changed in the past 3 months. The residents were all relaxed and comfortable with the staff.

Pros: beautiful facility, lots of activities available, good care. Cons: dining is not quite what they advertise. The food is good, when you finally get it, but they often run out of items & take away items that they previously carried ( keep cutting back on many residents' favorites). On weekends residents can wait up to over an hour for their food. Also on weekends staffing is limited so especially in the evenings residents will have to wait a while while others emergencies are being attended to. It seems that their budget doesn't quite match their advertised quality in all areas.

I recently toured at this beautiful facility with my grandmother, as she will be ready for assisted living with in the next few months. Seagrass was our 3rd stop and was our final. The managers, and staff were so warm and welcoming. I know my grandmother will be very well taken care of here. I was able to speak to other residents during my tour and they gave such positive feedback really making me confident of my decision ~Blessings

I just moved my Sister into the Memory Care Center at Seagrass Village on Fleming Island — and I can’t express how thankful I am that she is finally in a safe, learning and loving environment. If you have ever visited a typical memory care facility, you will immediately appreciate why Seagrass is one of the best in the business. I was so impressed by the calm, pleasant environment, the level/quality of memory care staffing, the 24-hour access, and the overall quality and competence of the Seagrass management team (Robin and Micki) and Memory Care staff (Kennedy). Moving a loved one with dementia out of the home environment and into a memory care facility is not just a major decision, it is a painful and extremely stressful decision — that is followed by an mountain of paperwork, medical issues and problems to be solved. That’s where Robin came to our rescue. From my first phone call with her, I was so impressed with her patience, her knowledge, her can-do attitude, and her true concern for my sister. Robin worked with me every step of the way and, as a team, we arranged for a wonderful new home at Seagrass — in a few short weeks. As a leader at Seagrass, Robin is innovating in a number of ways in the memory care program — and I am just so glad that we are reaping the benefits of this love and concern for our family member with dementia. When a family has to make a decision about putting a loved one into memory care — it’s not just about buildings, amenities, cost, physical environment, food — it’s ALL about the people who serve your loved ones! From Robin (and Micki) in leadership and management — to Kennedy in Memory Care — the very competent and caring staff were the primary reason I chose Seagrass Village. It’s the best I’ve seen in Memory Care in the Northern Florida area — and my family could not be more confident in my sister’s future care and well being there!

They have made our entire family feel as though we are now part of their family. Linda was extremely helpful in helping my mom get a room that suited her needs. Every person who works there from the chef (who makes incredible meals!!), to the Activity Director Kristi who asked my mom what groups/activities she is interested in to the maintenance team we are truly so thankful!

Very nice senior home. My mother-in-law moved in almost four years ago. and she has enjoyed the living situation, the dining and the activities since. The staff seems to care. The only downsides have been the lack of outside trips (but that is partly due to most residents not being interested, and COVID more recently), the lack of a diabetic/healthy daily meal special (but they can always order off the menu if they would like), a movie room where the lights can't be turned down and a mediocre fitness room. The many pluses include the residents themselves, the great staff, the well-attended happy hour, the dining and the other facilities.

Seagrass Village of Fleming Island is an amazing place. I have recently moved my grandparents into the community. The social atmosphere, the food, the cleanliness, the fabulous care, it all makes for such a fabulous place for everyone who lives there. The team is sincere and truly cares about the residents and the families. Seagrass has the best warm welcoming that made my grandparents feel right at home!

My mother moved here 2 months ago and is very happy with her decision. It is set up to allow seniors to live independently without having to deal with daily hassles of living alone. The amenities are top notch from housekeeping, many social activities and excellent dining. Residents can be as involved or private as they want to be. The opportunities for socializing are a nice perk as many older people feel isolated. The apartments are very well appointed and comfortable. It is like having an apartment in an all inclusive resort. One of my favorite times to drop by for a visit is during happy hour and enjoy a glass of wine with Mom. The place is new and there arent any cliques and groups causing discord. The staff is unbelievably nice and seem to genuinely want everyone to be happy. This is not a nursing home (although there is a separate assisted living community) it is a way to live out later years in comfort and freedom. Also nice is the monthly fee covers everything - rent, dining, housekeeping, cable, internet, utilities - everything! It is month to month so you dont have to commit their life savings to move in.
