My mother lived at Jane Adams House for over a year until she recently had to transfer to a skilled nursing facility. She was suffering from the early stages of dementia and a number of other medical issues requiring careful monitoring of her medications. The staff took such wonderful care of her and kept her safe, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and my siblings and I are very grateful for everything that they did for her. The modest size of the facility made it feel like much more of a community for Mom and its proximity to the local hospital (next door) was very reassuring for us.

While looking for a place for my loved one I was looking at two locations. I chose this facility because of the value and the single occupancy rooms. The staff team here is also very friendly and accommodating. The administrator here is really on top of things. When I first arrived to look at this place I was greeted by her and she gave me the grand tour of the facility. I am still in contact with her today and she is always involved with everyone. It really gives me a comfortable feeling to know that my loved one will be here and is going to be well taken care of. They keep the property very clean and I believe they do the residents laundry two to three times a week. They also have activities that they routinely post on site to let the residents know what is going on that month. They have separate activities with the assisted living and memory care. The activities would cater more to the needs of the residents on the memory care side versus on the assisted living side they would have the normal card games and such. I do know that they also offer transportation services. There is a hospital a quarter mile away where they have knowledgeable medical staff. Overall I would recommend this facility to others.

My father's stay at the Jane Adams house is going well! The staff are very nice. There are quite a bit of activities for my father to be involved in. Though they are in the process of renovating the facility, it is still well maintained. I would recommend this facility to a friend!

My Father a 94 year old WW2 veteran was admitted into Jane Adams Memory Care unit one week ago. Private rooms only 15 patients and 8 caring and wonderful staff 2 on staff every evening checking hourly on each individual patient to assure they are safe. My father says everyone is so kind and nice and the food is very good. Very clean, full time handyman Steve painted and put together all the furniture we sent in and mounted the TV and picked up the cable box. They provide bathing 3 times per week have a barber shop and really care about their patients. Visitation 24/7 for family members. So relieved and happy that we found this place! Leslie is wonderful to work with and the staff is so kind and gentle with the patients.

I am very happy with the Jane Adams House. They are very caring people. It is the right size for my dad, and I feel like they really care about him as a person. The rooms are very inviting for the people who live there. The porch is beautiful because there are flowers and comfortable seating. They painted my dads room for us, and they did not need to because there was nothing wrong with the paint, but they ask me what color I would like for it, and they did it. They even provided him with a bedspread that they didnt need to do. They put personal touches in the rooms, so it feels like they are living in a home. We are renting some of my dads furniture from them, but it doesnt look institutional. It looks like it came from somebodys home. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. There are mature trees and bushes, and it looks like 2 houses. I think the administrator is the heart of the place. She is a young woman. I am not a young woman, and she puts me at ease and comforts me as the child. She really is special. My dad has been in 2 other places, and I didnt say that about any of the other administrators. She is the real key to the success of the place.
