Couldn't help noticing ALL the 5 star reviews on website. I have lived at GV, Englewood just over 4 years and I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! Have been in 2 other Assisted Livings (up north) and GV Englewood is "head and shoulders" above them! Why? For ME, the campus set-up (i.e., you leave your room or "apartment" and you are out in the fresh air not a crowded stuffy hallway) and more importantly, THE STAFF!! Staff seems to TRULY CARE about residents...I mean REALLY CARE!!! Staff is outstanding!! Highly recommend GV Englewood to anyone looking for Assisted/Independent Living!

My mother enter Grand Villa of Englewood 3 weeks prior to the COVID-19 with Dementia and recovering from a broken hip. It was devastating for my sister and I not to be able to go in to see her. But Head Director,Lori and the staff kept all the residents families informed what was happening with our love ones. We were encouraged to visit at my moms window. Everyone that works there has bend over backwards to answer our question to keep us informed. Their top priority is to keep the residents safe but they knew how hard its been on the resident mentally. Lori and the PAs and other staff checked in with each one to talk with them and to make sure they understand what is going on. Window visitation was set up for love ones to see and visit. They held drive by parades. Then finally with approval families got to go inside with a lot of well thought out planning and preparation.We just cant say enough how grateful we are for such a wonderful place to care for our mom. Theyre like family. You can see how much they care. Residents can stay busy with many different activities to pick from. When things get back to normal , well be able to schedule a time to have lunch or dinner with mom. We cant wait. But until then ,we know our mom is in the best place.. it truly looks like home and feels like family. Thank-you so much for caring for our mom and for us too. Debbie

Our experience with Lori, Hattie and all the staff at Grand Villa of Englewood has been great. I cant say enough about all they have done! They have been a God send. The staff continues every day to work with and for the residents. They all are very dedicated to the residents and truly look out for them. They are constantly coming up with activities and outings for all to enjoy. Especially during the pandemic – wow, they have gone out of their way to keep our loved ones safe and also provide a balance of activities during a very difficult time period. They have been so creative in keeping communication open and available during the pandemic. Thank you Grand Villa for all you are doing! Keep up the great work!

They have been excellent in terms of communicating and following covid protocols. The administrative staff is helpful and willing to address and-or remedy any questions or concerns from family members in a timely fashion. Grand Villa Englewood has exceptional staff and happy residents<-- two things that should always be considered when choosing an ALF. Salus Physical Therapy is like the cherry on top because they offer the residents Occupational-Physical and Speech therapy services from the top clinicians in Florida. If you are considering an ALF for yourself or a family member, go take a tour and you wont be disappointed; the hospitality from all the Caregivers and Clinicians will blow you away.

My mom is well cared for. She loves the people and the food. Lori the ED is always available for my questions. I have found her working many weekends when I visit. Housekeeping does a good job keeping up with my moms room. She doesn't attend many activities but they do try to get her to go. We are very happy here.

My mother moved in to the Trails of Orono in August of 2015. After visiting facilities in the area and exploring our options, The Trails was a clear winner. The smaller size of the facility is a plus. Mom tells us daily that she loves her "Trails family" and how she is so lucky to live in such a nice place. The facilities are beautiful and the staff is warm and caring. Stacy (director) and Angela (head of nursing) are always accessible and show such care for mom. Her caregivers are top notch, especially Renee and Fannie. The activities staff goes out of their way to include mom. Kudos to Julie, Lori, and Sherilynn. Can't say enough good things about The Trails Of Orono.

I first visited Commonwealth Senior Living Front Royal (CSLFR) about 5-6 years ago with my sister-in-law (now nearly 99 years old) in anticipation of a future home for her. The sense of smell is important and when we walked into the facility, it smelled like home, not an “old-age facility” as I had found in others. I was immediately impressed with the appearance and cleanliness. She was self sufficient at home and still driving until Dec 31, 2017, when she fell and broke her pelvis. Following a short hospital stay, she was taking to CSLFR for physical therapy. She is still using a walker and her home was not conducive to safe use for her with a walker so she decided to stay at CLSFR for many reasons. Safety and security, 24-hr assistance from a caring staff when needed such as showering, excellent management, three excellent meals and three snacks per day, transportation to local appointments, etc. I have visited CSLFR numerous times and have eaten many meals, which have been excellent and very palatable, especially the soups and variety of deserts. I, and others have found CSLFR to be the absolutely best facility of its kind in the area and Front Royal is lucky to have such a facility. Bob Upchurch

I have lived at Grand Villa of Englewood for several months, I never go hungry. If I am still hungry after a meal, the staff is happy to provide me a sandwich or something to snack on. I enjoy the activities, especially our Friday Social Hour in the Bungalow, we have entertainment and even a glass of wine if we want. The staff is very friendly and always willing to chat. I am very happy at Grand Villa!

I am very satisfied with Elk Meadows and their care. They have shown excellent care to their patients. They have a wonderful staff and an activity director who interacts with the residents and plays games also. They have an Exercise program and special events such as bringing in horses and outings. Great medical care and a onsite RN who is excellent. Great physician support and the residents are seen by the physician monthly. I would refer Elk Meadows to all.

Mom has been at Grand Villa assisted living for a several months and is very happy there. Mom has her challenges including being legally blind and has memory loss. I have found that the staff goes above and beyond the call to take care of her and the residents in general. I highly recommend this place. I think it is important that I mention how helpful Lori Clark has been. She is now the director and in charge of Grand Villa. She has more than once gone waaay out of her way to make things comfortable and workable for Mom. I have had several interactions with Lori and have been most impressed.
