I am a physician and I can say with experience that Chris is absolutely outstanding! Im not sure theres a better, more talented person in the country, let alone Florida. Chris knew and helped with every little detail, coordinating and expediting home health aid care so that it could be provided on a couple days notice so that when my father is discharged from the hospital it would all be set up, contacting social workers, physical therapists, on and on. I will not send my family members to anyone else, but CHRIS! Nonpareil!!

Truly LOVED the family feel of First Light Home Care (FLHC) . Chris and Lisa Ruth were always present for both of my parents, especially during the last year of their lives. Married 69+yrs, our parent taught us the true virtues of all things good. They were always with us guiding us down the right paths. My Dad was the Rock of entire family. He coined words like: •Backstop •Giver •Wavelength....Mom was •Fun •Creative •Gourmet Cook. Our families to have such nice incredible role models are and truly blessed...We met the owners of First Light Home Care (FLHC) in the twilight days of my dad and Moms years on this earth.out of town, Chris and Lisa Ruth, owner at (FLHC) became my parent Go To. Example Dad ran out if gas on Federal Hwy on a Sunday...and called Chris. Both stopped everything to help. Chris to help Dad with the carand Lisa sat with Mom until Dad home. My Mom was a worry wart.This was above and beyond. But, we cant forget their staff: Wow- all I can say it was wonderful and always friendly al still is today!Moms main care giver Samantha became family. She took care of my Mom with uch a tender touch.When I walked in the door from the hospital to tell Sam that Dad had passed; it was like telling a sister. We cried together. Sam Sam had become family.You see, we had spent holidays together •Christmass •Thanksgivings •Birthdays or just a simple walk ordrive to the market. Sam was always there for my Parents. She helped Mom with the loss ofDad which so hard. Then Sam was there for Mom- what a rough road. to travel. My wife and I went to FL to visit my Mom in Boca. Once we got there I realized what I had suspected for a while was getting worse and I needed a solution to keep my mom safe. We can only travel to see her so often and its just not enough so I looked into FirstLight. They were able to come up with a strategy that I was happy with and more importantly, my Mother is happy with. She gets the attention she needs and I dont have to constantly worry about her from far away. Win win!

FirstLight is really great to work with. They are attentive caregivers who make sure my father-in-law is doing what he needs to be doing in order to stay healthy at his age. I cant be around all the time as I live far away and even my frequent trips down were not enough to improve his health by developing good habits of exercise and eating right. During the entire process, FirstLight staff kept me updated about his care plan and how the costs broke down. Big stress-reliever!
