The facility and patients are clean and the staff are very hard working and caring. My Mom has been here for two years and is happy and loves the staff. They are always keeping me updated and really show they care.

The staff and administrators at this healthcare facility have gone above and beyond to help my mother recover from a major stroke. The Therapy Department has an outstanding team who have fluidly worked together to create a comprehensive treatment for her recovery. The everyday care in any Healthcare facility will always have its challenges and any concerns we have raised along the way have always been addressed by the staff. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking therapy treatment.

I had a low potassium issue that required hospitalization. After 4 days in icu, I still had problems walking so I requested rehab upon discharge. I chose The Gardens and I had a very good experience. The nursing staff was extremely attentive, positive and kind. Always there when you needed them. Tha aides where helpful with a smile. Most importantly, the PT and OT team was the best!!! They helped me build my leg and arm muscles so I could function when I got home. The entire personnel was happy to witness my daily improvement. I couldn't have done it without them. Thank you all !!! I highly recommend The Gardens in Daytona Beach.

This is a friendly reminder for the haters of The Gardens Health and Rehab especially to Mildred and the remaining people who have posted ridiculous accusations. Nurses are humans and not an emotional punching bags for you or anyone else to take their frustrations out on them for your family members health problems. Those health problems and their current needs, and your guilt happened way before coming to The Gardens Health & Rehab. I would encourage you Mildred, your sister and the rest of the haters to seek someone to talk to. I hope you may find peace in the guilt you are feeling, that you feel the need to publicly humiliate these Nurses,The Gardens Health & Rehab and every family member like myself who has a family member in the facility receiving excellent care. The staff are not your psychologist, your escape goat for what you can not provide for your loved one. I'm so blessed to have them so I can continue on living my life, sleeping at night, and allowing the care of professionals including Dr. Kwong MD, Kathy Erickson ARNP, Dr. Shah MD, Lori the Wound Care Nurse and the rest of the whole team working towards the best outcome for my mother. Joe the administrator and Tasha The Director of Nursing have always listened and took care of what I've asked of them. Carletta & Jessica are one of my mothers caring and compassionate nurses. Many of the CNA's, housekeeping, maintained, dietary staff make my mother smile. In the end I am Thankful for The Gardens Health and Rehab as well as you should be too. In reading these past reviews it truly sounds as many of you are mad, frustrated and have your own guilt. It is not acceptable to place the blame game on others in a public platform because of your own behaviors please try some Gratefulness & Kindness. Thank you The Gardens Health & Rehab for doing the very best for all you take care of and making my family blessed.

After listening to recommendations and visiting a few, I chose The Gardens for: Mostly private rooms, clean and bright facility, and professional and friendly staff. I was not disappointed. I strongly recommend The Gardens.

After an 8 day stay in the Halifax ICU as a result of a motorcycle accident, I was transferred to the Gardens. Upon arrival it was noted my bed would not accommodate both my arms in casts, and a wider bed was supplied to make me much more comfortable. Therapy started immediately, on a Sunday! Denise, Viviana, Jessica, Ryan, Gerri, Shannon and Team Leader Cherish were fantastic. Every member of the team is empathetic, professional, efficient, a good listener and a joy to be around. They encouraged me, set achievable goals and addressed every concern. My progress with them was well beyond my expectation. Ginger juggled schedules to arrange transportation and make doctor appointments. Laurie, the Wound Care Nurse, took excellent care of my many wounds and road rash daily. She provided follow-up as the wounds were healing. The Aides on the South Wing were excellent. I must commend Latrice (7a-3p), Michelle (3p-11p) & Judy (11p-7a). They took care of all my needs efficiently and promptly. They were kind, gentle, professional and cheerful. Laura at the Front Desk, Kathy Erickson ARPN, Trish a driver and every other member of the staff treated both me and my many visitors with respect and kindness. The Gardens excels because of the dedicated people who provide the services. I hope you and yours never need their skills, but if necessary, The Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center, is a wise choice.

I want to thank everybody at the Gardens , the care I received was excellent, Lori the wound nurse was exceptional taking care of my foot and questions answered, and Marie my CNA whom I had alot and all the other ladies was wonderful PT and OT included

Excessive un controlled noise from aids and tvs run all night

My 90 year old dad was In The hospital for 2 weeks then was transferred to The Gardens. He was there for about a month and 1/2 . The rehab manager Cherris was so amazing. They worked with him to strengthen his body. The APRN Kathy Erickson listened to his concerns and she worked really had to stabilize him and get to the point to discharge safely. The transportation department was also amazing with almost no warning.they were able to get him to a specialist which I was able to get him a next day appointment. He really enjoyed the food even gained a few pounds. His CNA was the best she always showed him respect and took amazing care of him. Social services was also so helpful!, Betty and Cheryl were so helpful. I can't speak more highly of the care and compassion he received. Thank you to everyone for your hard work , I will strongly recommend to anyone needing a GREAT skilled nursing and rehab!
