Our mother has stayed at Heritage Waterside for a few years until recently, when she had to be moved to long-term care. We cannot say "thank you" enough for the love and care they provided for mom while she was there. Mom wanted to stay in FL while we were in NC. The distance was challenging but she was happy in the warmer climate. The staff treated her like family. And when we visited, we could see how much they cared for her. We will miss Heritage and all the people there. Thank you!

I was well guided by Desiree Vilanova in choosing Heritage Waterside for my aging parents’ assisted living residence. The facility is very well managed. My questions and requests are answered quickly. The COVID-19 pandemic has been expertly handled, with precautions proactively put in place. The residence is very attractive in a beautiful setting, kept immaculately clean by caring staff. My parents have been pleased with the quality of meals served. I am pleased with the degree of safety assisted living has provided my parents. While they lived independently in their own home well into old age, they became less able to manage activities of daily living. Their decision to move to Heritage Waterside has met their needs and enabled my family to better care for them and enjoy with them this time in their lives.

Heritage Waterside has been a blessing for our family and I can’t recommend them highly enough. When my 96-year-old dad started to fall and need additional help in his day to day activities, a friend recommended the Heritage. Dad was reluctant to move (probably due to a preconceived notion of what assisted living facilities were like decades ago), but once he took the tour and saw his unit, he embraced every aspect of AL. From the staff, who truly care, the meals in the restaurant, and all the activities, they make every resident live a life filled with dignity and independence in a safe environment. We couldn’t be happier!

Heritage Waterside is an amazing family community. The staff members are kind and caring with the residents, they are very pleasant and offer many activities on a daily basis. The staff have great interaction with the residents throughout the day in helping them with what ever their needs might be even if it is reading or sitting quietly with them. The residents always appear happy and content. They enjoy the activities room, art room, movie room and especially the card room. These rooms are where the residents bond as a family and have a great time. When I come to work at Heritage Waterside I have to pinch myself and say am I really working in such a wonderful place. Not only do I get to work here I get to spend my day with the residents pretending we are at Disney every day. The interactions that we have like being able to exercise, dance and even fish on the dock with Frank day is amazing. Wake me up, I am finished dreaming, I really do work at an amazing place. I love each and every one of our resident which we I call family. There is not a day that I wake up that I do not say how blessed I am to work for such a great family oriented organization.

I have had the pleasure of working with Cory Shenk the COO of Heritage Waterside and I wouldnt want my loved one going anywhere else. The quality level of care provided by him and his staff at Heritage Waterside go above and beyond the typical call of duty. If you are considering places to put Mom or Dad, I would strongly urge you to look deeper into Heritage Waterside and strongly consider the option, because it doesnt get better than this!!

I truly love working at Heritage Waterside. Ive never worked at a place where the culture is so important. Our residents and staff members are happy and are engaged in life. You hear laughter in our hallways. We offer amazing care and our staff to resident ratios are the beat around! Come take a tour!

Moved my 97 year old mom in September-October 2020. A great place as the staff goes above and beyond! Especially having to handle the COVID situation! These caring people are wonderful! I know, from dealing with my mom, it can be a frustrating challenge at times. I highly recommend this place. They are assisted living yet do more than I ever expected. A special appreciation thank you to the staff! Cory, the Executive Director, is a warm, caring person. He doesnt stand over the elderly to talk to them. He squats down to make sure hes at their level. Wonderful!

I have only great reviews to share about the experience my family has had with Heritage Waterside. My father was placed here earlier this year amid a variety of both financial and cognitive struggles. Heritage Waterside graciously accepted him and worked diligently to hep us navigate this uncharted territory. He is receiving excellent care and has made many friends - both staff and residents. He enjoys the cafeteria dining and the fun and regularly scheduled calendar of events. I would highly recommend Heritage Waterside!

Heritage waterside I have been a resident since May 2019. My stay here has been most enjoyable, being at two other locations before this really makes a big difference in what we have here. It is great to be a part of this Group especially the activities that they have; we play bingo, we do bowling on the Wii and many other activities. The bus takes us to Walmart, Publix and other activities throughout the community. There are many other things to do here we go for walks in the area, we go out on the dock on the river two or three times a week and we play lawn bowling as well as miniature golf with the activities director. The food is great and housekeeping is excellent all rooms are well-kept. There are many other things that we do here that really make the stay worthwhile. Sonny G

Ive been working in senior care for the last 8 years here in the Daytona Beach area. There are many options available to seniors for assisted living and I recommend seniors and their loved ones visit Heritage Waterside so they can discover a caring community of residents and staff. Many facilities offer a laundry list of similar services, what sets Heritage a part is the opportunity to experience another level of consumer services highlighted by a staff consciousness to perform their duties to that high level all in delightful setting on the Halifax River.

My husband and I were at Heritage Waterside for four months after he had a stroke and until he passed away from a heart attack. The staff and everything about the assisted living facility was wonderful. We could not have had a better or more helpful place to spend our last four months together after being married for 57 years. The other residents were friendly and interesting. The location is wonderful, a quick walk to Daytona Beach and on the Halifax River. The staff is available when needed but not intrusive. The facility is clean and the food and food service is excellent. I highly recommend Heitage Waterside to anyone needing an assisted living facility.

Heritage Waterside is an assisted living facility in the heart of Daytona Beach Shores. The building is situated on the shores of the famous Halifax river and the famous Daytona Beach. I really recommend this place for seniors wanting a luxurious atmosphere and top of the lane assistance.

The best in class award goes to Heritage Waterside! I stopped by for a tour, was greeted by friendly staff, and was escorted through one of the most gorgeous and unique properties senior living has ever offered . This is a place you can feel good about your loved one making there home. River front , excellent food, clinical staff on hand to answer all my questions, and physicians available for house calls as well! The property really does have it all! 5 stars across the board !
