My darling wife Susan has been at Sonata Coconut Creek for 18 months now and I cannot say enough about the wonderful service they give to the residents, every day. Pradlyne Sistra is the most caring person I have encountered in this type of an environment. Donna, the concierge, is very professional and always makes feel welcome, whether in person or on the phone. There is no doubt that I placed my wife in the proper place. Thank you for all you do for her and keeping my mind at ease!

I recently had the opportunity to work closely on a project with the Environmental Sevice Director, Victor Ramirez and the Senior Reginal Director, Bryce Robinson.Victor and Bryce were extremely professional and personable. My dad has been a resident in the memory unit and overall the personal service for my dads well being has been very good All of his needs has been well attended to and it’s good to know since I am out of state My dad did have a fall early on but it was resolved Hillary who runs the unit has done a great job in keeping me informed of any issues

After touring numerous memory care facilities for my 86 year-old mom I opted for Sonata Senior Living at Coconut Creek, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The staff at the memory care facility, headed up by director Hillary Newell, are compassionate and loving, treating residents as if they were family members. The facility itself is spotlessly clean, sunny, and infused with warmth, light, music, art and laughter. The experience of placing my mother in the facility was made seamless, thanks to the efforts of Robin Hammer and Cora, the nursing director, who evaluated mom at home to ensure she would be a good fit. The pricing for the type of care my mom is receiving is comparable to other memory care facilities in the South Florida area. Rooms can be decorated to one's taste, as furnishings are provided by the family. My mother is happy here, and engaged with the staff and other residents. She is well cared for by their team of visiting doctors and specialists, and is thrilled with the menu selection and activities. And I love it that my mom, as well as the staff, are ALWAYS available to address any questions or concerns. Anyone looking to place a loved one in an assisted living facility would do well to check out Sonata Senior Living at Coconut Creek. I sleep better at night, knowing my mom is in tbe best hands possible.

Mom moved into Sonata Coconut Creek in June and we are very pleased with the care she has received. Mom is adjusting very well and has made friends. Hillary and her staff are caring and understanding to her needs and i am very comfortable knowing my mom is in a safe environment.

My experience was very positive with David Arana showing real concern and interest in my father. This is a very stressful time for me and my family and Dave made this transition a lot easier. My dad Murray also appreciated Daves interest and concern for his comfort and safety. Thank you dave. My family and I are extremely pleased with Sonata Coconut Creek. Hillary, Jennifer, Donna and everyone on staff have been amazing since the day we moved mom in. I researched quite a few places, but none that felt like home until I walked the memory building with Hillary. Its a safe and clean environment packed with daily activities. I highly recommend it!

I moved my mom here in the middle of COVID sight unseen! Thats how secure and safe I felt about this facility! Hilary is the director of the memory care unit. Her care, passion, and dedication to the residents is amazing! When I come to visit, I feel like family. My mom is so well cared for that for the first time in a long time, I have a peace of mind! I would highly recommend SONATA to anyone looking for a safe place for their loved one !

My family is very happy with the care that my mom is receiving within the Memory Care at Sonata Coconut Creek. This is a very special place-small, warm and caring- more like a home environment than a facility. I give much of the credit to the Director Hillary Newell. She is hands-on, familiar with all her residents and knows exactly whats going on day to day. If you ever have a question or concern you can text her and she answers right back which is a great comfort to the families. She understands dementia, knows how to communicate with the residents and helps the family cope with the ups and downs of the disease. The facility itself is well-maintained. My moms room is quite large and kept clean and neat. The aides take good care of the residents- my mom always looks pretty and is dressed well. We are grateful to have found Sonata.

My loved one lives at Sonata. They take really great care of the residents and are very attentive. Hillary, Charmaine and Jennifer are very responsive and always there to answer any questions. I like the fact that they are very proactive and were one of the first senior communities to test residents and staff and they continue to do so. Highly recommended!

They have been very proactive in their testing, and have been successful in getting ahead of the virus. Mom is approaching her one year anniversary at Sonata Coconut Creek and Im thrilled to share she is thriving. Sonata DirectorJennifer Forbes and Memory Care ( Serenades) Director Hillary Newell set the tone for a calm. kind, respectful and caring environment. Serenades is in a one story building that is deigned as a home ( capacity for some 18-20 residents, I believe) complete with a family-dining rooms, and a beautiful outdoor area. Staff engage with the residents in a respectful, caring and patient manner and this is priceless to me. While I wish all assisted living facilities had more staff, Sonata has one of the highest- if not the highest - staff-resident ratios. Mom arrived underweight so I conclude with a grateful shout out to Chef Gaspard and his team. Mom enjoys the meals and she is now at a healthy weight. Thank you to everyone at Sonata Coconut Creek-including Donna at the Concierge Desk!

The only place I trust for my dear mom. After learning of my mothers Alzheimers disease over 5 years ago, our family knew the unfortunate day would come when she would require more care than what we could provide for her at home. Initially, we made the tough decision to transition her into a home off McNab road. Our first choice was Sonata Coconut Creek, but they did not have availability at the time. The experience was rough and it was not the right fit at the first home. Sonata finally had an opening and we have been thrilled with their service ever since switching homes. The staff and head director are genuinely kind hearted people and take special care of all of their residents. They treat them with respect and dignity and keep them happy. They make the utmost effort to keep the residents active and entertained with live music, dancing, movies and other activities. Throughout the home are different stations set up to aid them to engage in activity as well. (Such as caring for a doll baby, or listening to 50s music, or wood working on a desk). The staff is skilled in addressing the residents hygiene needs and the food their served is excellent. The doctors and nurses are always on point with their medications and provide them with the best possible care. I cant say enough great things about Sonata. I know my mom is being cared for by people that consider her family now and it makes me able to sleep peacefully at night. Also, the home is always clean and very safe. If you are considering Sonata Coconut Creek, just know your loved one will be in the best hands and receiving the best possible care in fun and family oriented environment and I highly recommend!!

Had the pleasure of visiting a dear friend who moved in about 6 months ago. I was there during the entertainment and she asked if I could stay for dinner. The entertainer was excellent. I met a women 104 years old dancing up a storm. The residents were very pleasant and the dinner was delicious. If the day ever comes and I need assistance I would consider this Sonata.

We just recently moved my Aunt into Sonata Coconut Creek and she is very happy! The facility has just been recently remodeled and it is very clean and bright. The staff made the enrollment and move in process very easy and seamless and they are very accomodating. My Aunt says that everyone is very nice and the food is great! We would highly recommend Sonata!
