Every layer of management has been welcoming and supportive of the residents, family members and friends., The care team and reception staff provide exceptional service and are quick to offer assistance. The maintenance crew has been responsive to service requests. Grand Villa has an awesome network of providers and the facility is well maintained and secure. I feel that my parent is well cared for and that they truly enjoy being a resident. Grand Villa is conveniently located next to medical facilities, shopping and entertainment. It is the perfect choice for a loved one. Highly recommended.

Grand Villa of Clearwater is a fantastic place if you are looking for a new home for a loved one . From the minute you walk in the door you get a feeling of family, love and kindness. The staff is great at learning all about each resident and helping them get familiar with their new home and all the great features and activities that are available. Then there is the dining room. Wow, what great food and service they provide. The entire building is very clean and smells good and always looks great with all the seasonal decor, and the nice furniture in the common areas. The management staff is knowledgeable and so helpful making sure you are satisfied leaving your loved one in their care. You won't find a better place that cares so much!

When Mom unexpectedly passed away our Dad was left to fend for himself. He was in a steady decline and we were not sure what to do. Fortunately we found Grand Villa of Clearwater. Dad now has three excellent meals everyday, on-site healthcare, and people to socialize with. The entire staff is friendly, caring, and professional. The facility is clean and has a responsive on-site maintenance staff. This has been comforting for our entire family to know that Dad is in a great living situation.

A place for Mom gave me the number to Grand Villa at Clearwater. I connected with Lori Smith immediately. The place is clean. The people are so friendly and the experience has been unbelievably welcoming. From the assistant director to the physical therapist to Rachel their housekeeper has been just wonderful , caring and interested in my parents well-being and happiness. My parents have been there for a week now and have settled in nicely , with yummy meals , three times a day and lots of activities to keep them busy.

I cannot praise the staff at Grand Villa Clearwater enough! I recently moved my dad from a nearby ALS, into Memory care at Grand Villa. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at the previous ALS, that I lost all faith in any of them. I reached out to Jennifer at A Place for Mom and she connected me with Grand Villa. From the very start, I had such a warm welcome by Lori. She was so calming and patient with us. I appreciate that she was not pushy, however continued to check in with us on finding the right place for my dad. Lori answered every text and phone call, even on her days off! I just cannot say enough about her…everyone needs a Lori!! We are blessed to now call Grand villa of Clearwater home! My dad was greeted by many of the staff members by a big round of applause as he walked the red carpet into the building. That made him feel very welcomed ! I also would like to thank Leah, Dawn, Misty, Ron, Shawn and Alex for making this transition so seamless for us today! The maintenance team brought my dad's (very heavy) chair that was delivered to his room and put it together so it was waiting on him for his arrival. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that his cable was hooked up upon arrival, as well as hanging pictures for him. This entire experience was nothing we had been used to. I can honestly say, each staff member we have met seems to love their job, as well as have fun doing it! When I left my dad today, I had such peace in my heart knowing he's in the right place…home:)

Grand Villa of Clearwater feels like home. My mom moved recently and was warmly welcomed by staff, residents, and "ambassadors." Every person my mom met was friendly and helpful. The staff members went above and beyond to help her with anything she needed, all while wearing a smile. Grand Villa of Clearwater is a perfect fit for us! My Mom moved into a lovely one bedroom apartment 3 months ago, and she is have a blast living her best life. From the moment we walked into Grand Villa to meet with our fabulous leasing coordinator, Lori, it just FELT right. Its not too big, not too small, not too opulent, but very nice and well appointed. Their motto is Looks Like Home and Feels Like Family and it isn't just a motto - its a culture for them, and truly is like one big family. ALL of the staff has been exceptional and accommodating down to every tiny detail. As you walk the halls at GV, and run into staff members, you can tell just by their energy that they love where they are and what they're doing. In the 3 months my Mom has lived there, she is doing better than she has in years. She has made so many new friends, and just loves seeing her K9 neighbors Gizmo the terrier, and Hoda the poodle, every day! She enjoys the lovely sunset view she has from her apartment, but is so busy with all the activities, she doesn't get to see it from her apartment often. Shaun, Alex, and Melvin, in maintenance have done a lovely job with helping us get her apartment decorated and in tip top shape. I can't say enough about the staff from the Dawn, the Director, and all around the entire building to housekeeping. Grace and Dale who are usually at the Front Desk are lovely, and I look forward to seeing their smiling faces when I come and go. I should add that Mom's doing great physically since moving there and enjoys both the exercise classes she goes to every morning as well as the classes that John, the onsite Physical Therapist, has a couple times a week. Its also really great that she can utilize the onsite gym as well as take advantage of private therapy sessions, without having to go out to an offsite clinic. The courtyard is another one of Mom's favorite places to go. She loves how beautiful it is and enjoys the walking path as well as just relaxing on the patio and visiting.

My mother and I toured about 8 places after my Father passed to move her closer to me. I am beyond thrilled that we found the Grand Villa of Clearwater. They made us feel right at home the moment we walked through the door, we had many interactions with Lori, our representative for the community and she was so kind and patient. Leah, One of the nurses there was so helpful in working with us to determine my mom's skill levels, and what kind of care she might need, we have had many interactions with housekeeping, the front desk, the maintenance people, and the dining staff, they all work tirelessly showing mom the ropes getting her apartment situated with pictures, hung and cabinet secured, she has had wonderful meals, even snacks when she asked for them and every single staff member we ran into told us how much they enjoyed working there so I knew if they enjoyed it there they were going to take very good care of my mom. With the help of A place for Mom, we were able to secure a tour and lunch date at Grand Villas of Clearwater. We traveled from Pennsylvania, praying for God to open doors for our Daddy. Amanda San Marco was a blessing to us. Our tour of this beautiful residence cannot be fully appreciated with words, alone. Daddy ordered lunch from a lovely menu, was treated royally by waitstaff and the Chef himself came by to see how satisfied Daddy was with the Manicotti. (Yum!) We were so happy to know the residents are provided with three meals a day. (This is not heard of in the PA places we visited). Also, really spacious studios and apartments, amenities, activities, house keeping (for your home) and laundry service and so much more! The daily activities keep you busy and happy. We were so blessed to know we could offer Daddy a month of respite care, getting acclimated to his new home. We submitted application for him, put down a deposit and we'll wait for his home to become available. We were even met by an RN to discuss evaluating Daddy, as per my request. And Amanda had everything lined up. It's a gorgeous community and we can't wait for Daddy to enjoy life at Grand Villas of Clearwater with dignity. Many thanks to all of you!

I am especially impressed with the Executive Director, Dawn, and Lori, who is in charge of admissions. She has gone way out of her way for my mom and family. They are both so accommodating and caring. The nursing staff is wonderful and competent too. Physical therapy is very well run and there are plenty of activities to keep the residents engaged and busy. In a nutshell the place is terrific! My mother is very happy there and my family is grateful to The Grand Villa for providing this excellent living environment for my mom. I highly recommend it!

My father has been living at Grand Villa Clearwater for over 2 years now. We usually fly him up to S Carolina to see all his grandchildren but I had to see this wonderful place he kept talking about. Well the staff is amazing. The whole place is beautifully kept with so many fun things to do. I am 53 and had a blast with his friends there. I got to enjoy the delicious meals as I would go to the dining room to join him and his friends for lunch and dinner. I really can't say enough great things about this place. I had so much fun and now have at least 3 new 80 year old friends. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Grand Villa for making my dad so happy at 88 years young.

Grand Villa Clearwater is an amazing senior community. We moved my 94 year old mother in law there a couple of months ago and we are so happy we did. From start to finish, this has been a positive experience for us and for Mom. Lori Smith, the leasing coordinator, established an immediate connection with Mom that made the experience way less intimidating for her. The community is immaculate. The apartments are lovely. The staff is amazing; from front desk personnel, to housekeeping, to maintenance, to medical staff. It is obvious that the administrator, Dawn Winder, considers this more than just a job. As soon as I walked in I was struck by the feeling of warmth, activity, and community. The staff was very friendly and responsive and represented all ages and ethnicities. Above all, very happy with how my grandmother's health and spirits have improved exponentially since moving in. She has her autonomy, but is provided assistance with some activites.. in a very respectful, dignified manner. In a short time, the therapy team have her walking with minimal assistance from a walker and she is excited about visiting the gym. She has made friendships within the community and looks forward to as much or as little socialization as she wishes. Grandma is fiercely independent and was resistant to the idea of independent or assisted living communities for years... now she is encouraging her friends to shed the burdens of homes, large properties, and loneliness and to consider a move like hers. This speaks volumes to the care, comfort, and comraderie she has found at Grand Villas of Clearwater.

My 86-year-old aunt lived in Grand Villa for over a year. The staff are very caring and go out of their way to ensure that their residents are well taken care of -- lots of activities, regular nurse and wellness visits, and they even have a shuttle that takes residents out to appointments and shopping regularly. The facility is also very clean and efficiently managed, and there is a hospital close by. I'd give this place five stars except that lunch and dinner aren't great and I know residents complain about it (breakfast is pretty good, though -- I had it myself!). But considering the level of attention and care that residents receive, and how low costs are kept relative to other senior residential facilities, they do a pretty good job. I recommend Grand Villa to families with senior relatives who need a safe, quiet, clean facility in which to live when they can't live at home.

My wife and I have looked at several places to move my dad down from another state, we were pretty much set on one till i decided to look at one more. We met with Lori Smith at Grad Villa and loved what we saw, the rooms are remodeled and facility was clean and neat and had no odd smells . We moved dad down in February and he is very happy with his new home. The staff here really does care about the residents, from the front desk, to nursing right on down to maintenance and cleaning. The Grand Villa staff has went above and beyond in helping us get my dad settled in and here it is seven months later and they still continue to do so.

In the 5 months that I've lived here, here are a few of my experiences: 1. Today an employee who came and picked up my trash went into my refrigerator and took a steak salad that I ordered from a restaurant. When I spoke to the director of this facility, she said she would look into it. When I asked to be reimbursed she didn't respond other than "looking into it". I was so angry I said I was going to look into moving to another facility to which she replied "That's a very good idea". A few days ago I did a load of laundry (a service I was told was included in the rent and later was told there would be a $10 a month charge). When I returned to take it out of the laundry a velour blanket was missing. I asked a staff member who took the velour blanket and that I wanted it back. She said "I'll go get it " and 2 minutes later handed me the blanket. When I told the Director about this she responded that it sounded like a mistake. Also of note, the food here leaves alot to be desired. I strongly recommend anyone considering this retirement facility for themselves or others to look elsewhere. my apt and picked up my trash went into my refrigerator and took out a steak salad im

We recently placed our mom at this facility after thoroughly visiting many other local facilities and being somewhat new to this immediate area. I am an occupational therapist with over 30 years of geriatric experience in these related settings and know standards of quality and care. My husband and I have been so pleased with the administration, maintenance, general staff, and home health services for making this experience as best as possible for our mom and her pet. This facility is extremely clean and the residents are well cared for. I have visited many Alf facilities and this ranks as the best I have seen.

Grand Villa of Clearwater is now home to my mom. Its a beautiful building, very clean and always smells good. But, it is the people who work inside that make it a home. From the minute you walk in the door- the front of the house staff, the aids, Nurses, Med Techs, housekeeping, maintenance and Activity directors are all amazing. Everyone I've encounter is Polite and Friendly. (most know you by name and know your resident). The communication is very good both ways. They keep me well informed on my mom and answer my of my texts or calls. The hardest decision we had to make was to put mom in memory care...it has be made so much easier seeing her thriving, happy and safe. Every time we drive away after visiting we know mom is loved and cared for at Grand Villa Clearwater. Best decision

Our four weeks there really didn't go very well... admittedly, we should have explored our options more, and our sales person Amanda, was very poor in making us feel good about being there. Not sure she'd qualify working in dog kennel... especially if people loved their dogs, I wouldn't want to see others treated as badly as we were, but nearly everyone else from Grand Villa made it OK. The people living there seem to be very happy, and we had planned only a two month stay anyway. They will never be known as a treatment or rehabilitation facility, but as an assisted living center, the patient level workers were competent and very nice, but sales and administration really make the place look bad. In the end, it's all good.

As soon as she arrived, the fine staff provided her with all the assistance and activities that have made her life both comfortable and content. I knew from the first day that we had made an excellent choice, and our confidence and gratitude have only increased during the many months of the COVID pandemic.During this time, the excellent care and protection that my mother receives is equally matched by the consistent communication provided to our family by phone, email and videos. This facilitys by-line is looks like home, feels like family and I could not agree with that statement more. I initially worked with Diane the leasing coordinator (ok - some would call it sales) but I never felt like I was being sold or marketed to. On our virtual tour, I felt like she was showing me her extended home. We met staff throughout our journey and were given their names and how long they had worked there. We said hello to the residents we met along our tour as well - by name. So, right from the very start this was a pretty positive experience. The move included a very long drive for me and the several front office , reception folks I met upon arrival were great trying to get me suited up (PPE) and logged in. Dawn, the executive director, came out to greet and welcome me. And, the maintenance team of Will and Isaac made me almost want to cry they were so helpful after my long trip - they did so much - and the next morning as well. I picked up my aunt at the airport and brought her in. She was so pleased with the cleanliness and openness of the facility and again, the staff were just beyond anything I had experienced before. Quinn took charge of getting my aunt brought in and settled to her room and then my husband and I started our journey back to the Carolinas. Spectrum got behind on delivering the equipment needed for my aunts phone but again, the facility and staff came thru - not only in providing me updates on my aunt but also in working with me over the phone once the equipment came in to get her setup and going. My aunt sounds so happy there and I am pleased that she will be able to stay in the same room as over time she may require a greater degree of assistance. I highly recommend the facility for the location, cleanliness, price, staff, and so many other things that I havent even mentioned.

My parents moved into this facility (which was Brookdale) a little over 2 years, prior the purchase by Grand Villa. The facility , now completely remodeled is beautiful both inside and outdoors. The Director Dawn and all the staff has always been compassionate , loving and professional. Anytime I have had any concerns, its been addressed right away always in a wonderful, caring tone.The amount of effort put into keeping everyone there safe during Covid has been exceptional. This goes for staff and residents. I have received weekly, and sometimes more often phone or email message updates on Covid status and visitation rules or changes.I know my parents are comfortable and the best of care at Grand Villa of Clearwater. My family has been in need of a assisted living, memory care facility for my father and after researching and visiting many places we have decided we want him at the Grand Villa for his residence. Everyone we worked with was beyond helpful, kind, and compassionate. The facility has been completely remodeled and overhauled from the previous ownership of Brookdale. They deserve every star I can give and I know once my dad moves into his new home they will make sure he is cared for and enjoying the moments with his next transition. Candy and Diane couldnt have been kinder and the residents are happy and comfortable there. This transition is a terrible one but I know the staff will do their best to comfort both us and my dad.

I had the opportunity to visit this facility. Beautiful location, well kept and extremely clean. During the time I was there I met with some amazing of staff members. I met specifically with Dawn, Scott, Janet, Lisa, Leah and Diane and they demonstrated the upmost professionalism while simultaneously showing all the signs of empathy, compassion and fantastic care for its residents. The exquisite dining area left me at awe with how beautiful it was and it gave me a 5 star restaurant feel. I would highly recommend this great place for veterans who want to feel safe, loved and accommodated. Residents appeared happy and involved in their activities. This facility has a memory unit with professional staff taking care of residents. As a professional who works with veterans, I would feel comfortable recommending this facility to veterans and their families. Family members could have the piece of mind that their veteran will be safe and treated with the upmost respect after all the sacrifices they have made for our country.
