I had to place my wife in The Opal of Cape Coral Memory Care Unit as she is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. From the start, almost three months ago, the Staff has been very good to me and very caring towards my wife. Rachel, an administrator, was a huge help in the transition and answered every question I had honestly and caringly. Although just about all Assisted Living and Nursing Facilities are understaffed, the Staff at The Opal go out of their way to try and please their patients, they are all special, friendly, and serving. The rooms are kept clean. Also I believe it's a very secure location, and the memory care patients are not going to roam off.

I have lived at the opal for over a year. I enjoy going on the bus for trips each week and love the arts and crafts. I’ve made lots of friends and look forward to hanging out with them everyday. The staff is great and I love them. They help me with my medications and things that are hard for me to do myself.

The staff is very friendly, I love Jennifer. However Meredith, the coordinator, does not return calls, which was extremely disappointing and upsetting. Thankfully her staff, unlike her, does what they say.

I recently helped my 87 year mother move into the Opal of Cape Coral. The decision did not come easy, but I have to say I am very pleased with the friendly management and caring staff. I highly recommend this facility for seniors seeking a comfortable and home like environment.

I have given The Opal Of Cape Coral 5 stars. It is a well deserved rating, when considering placing a loved one in any facility many factors are considered, resident care, staffing, dinning, medication, cleanliness of the rooms, communication with staff and management. The Opal met all my expectations. The Administrator Renata, is outstanding always available to take any questions you may have, along with having on staff a full time nurse and med techs to meet the residents needs. The communication with the staff is always kind and pleasant, food is very good, resident rooms and facility is spotless. I would highly recommend Opal if you are seeking placement for your loved ones.

I have known the folks at the Opal for many years. Before its recent transition, as Juniper Village, it was a homey, comfortable community with caring and quality staff who loved and cared very well for residents. As the new Opal, it is still a wonderful caring, and affordable community right in the heart of Cape Coral. One will be hard pressed to find all these desirable traits in our area. You will find them in The Opal!

I have worked closely with the Opals staff and residents for years. Before its upgrade I always use to tell people, its not the best looking building but the staff their are some of he best. I always see them helping residents, they know their names and special needs. I am always concerned about the behind the senses so I do ask my clients how they like it there. The one big thing was always the staff is excellent and they care!

Shellie the marketing Director is so personable and helpful. The community is so beautiful. The new owner really put their heart and soul into this building. If you are looking for senior living this is the place. They have such caring staff and it shows on the residents faces. Good job!

The Opal has recently undergone a complete renovation. Previously known as Juniper Village. I think the renovations were completed very beautifully and I cant say enough positive things about how friendly and helpful the staff there are. The residents are always taken well care of and look happy when I visit periodically. The staff are always very warm and welcoming when I arrive to when I leave. The sales manager there is amazing and very knowledgeable as a good resource. I recommend and refer to them often. I would move my loved ones in there.

My parents recently moved in. The entire place is under renovation and we can see it will be beautiful when completed, which isnt far off. Everything is clean. Everyone is very friendly. My parents are kind of picky eaters. So far the food is excellent in their opinion. Even though meals and snacks are provided, they have a kitchenette with a small fridge. I added a microwave and ice maker. This way they can have snacks they looked. My stepdad can be very cranky and didnt want to go, but after 2 weeks he is very happy. They have their car, the one room was plenty big for a bedroom set, dinette, a couple of recliners and a 50 inch tv and a wheel chair can still easily navigate around if needed. I could not be happier with the decision to chose the The Opal.

We had a great time at their Fall Festival for their residents. Everyone enjoed themselves especially the kids with the water slide. Everyone loved the fried dough, elephant ears or buñelos whichever way you like to call them. Thank my aunt for the invite.

My parents have been staying at the facility for approximately 7 months. The level of care received is incredible. The entire staff is caring, attentive to all of their needs, and a genuine pleasure to deal with. The medical attentiveness of the staff has been exceptional. The communication between the facility and family has been excellent. We are kept informed of any and all concerns that may arise. The Opal, from the moment that you enter is a positive experience. It is more like entering a home, than a medical facility. All of the staff maintains a positive cheery outlook.They provide entertainment, celebrate all holidays and birthdays and provide activities both inside and out. I would like to individually thank Dawn , Shelly, Dr. Jaritza Smith, Tarsha and Robin and every single staff member that has lovingly helped my parents. As difficult as this transition has been, the wonderful people have made life a lot easier, Sincerely Richard Levine

Great staff, great management... since they got rid of the activities director and business office manager. New team members have been incredible. Activities have been much more age appropriate and my mom gets out of her room so much more. Clean. Always smells good. I think that girl with the negative review was the business manager who always messed up my moms bill and was never around to fix it. The staff is very excited and positive about change of ownership, but we have no concerns as long as the team stays the same.

The staff at The Opal at Cape Coral are AMAZING! They are very passionate about what they do. They create a home for the residents and in that home all you see and all you feel is family. They care deeply for each resident and are very focused on the needs of each individual. They have a heart for what they do and you can tell immediately. The Management in that building is outstanding, they know each staff member, resident and families needs and they do all they can to meet them. I have seen the Executive Manager in that building working long hours just to make sure all needs are met and fulfilled and she always has a smile on her face. The new staff in the building have really stepped into their roles and made each department warm, friendly and inviting. I feel like I am walking into my home and talking to my family. That is how an Assisted Living Facility should be. Please guys, keep up the great work.

This community has some of the most amazing care givers and management team, all lead by an intelligent, caring and compassionate Executive Director. Dont let the older building fool you, this community has lots of charm and character. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking to place a loved one in Senior Living.

I have had professional relationships with several staff members at Juniper for years. It is a small community, allowing the residents to interact and get to know each other which makes it seem more like a big family. The residents really seem to enjoy living there
