I want to Thank The Grande whole heartedly for taking such good care of my Dad. He loved it there, and that says it all. He made many friends with the other residents and with the staff. He loved all the activities, especially the karaoke. I am a physical therapy practitioner of 20 years and have been in many facilities. There are some not so great ones, and truly the good ones are a Diamond in the rough. Thank you The Grande for being a happy, fun, and kind safe haven for my dad. He passed away on November 16 after hospital stays and rehab. He was always hoping to get back to The Grande because none could compare.

The Grande has been such a positive experience for my brother, who moved into their assisted living apartment in July. He is happy, he loves the food and has not complained to me about anything. As I live out of state, it can be challenging to try to communicate certain issues with staff but everyone has always returned my calls and helped me to navigate whatever I needed to help provide my brother what he needs. When visiting him, we ate dinner with him several nights and the dining room staff is exceptional! They are so kind and patient with all of the residents. I highly recommend the Grande for your loved ones!

When you are young or even middle age, you never quite know how things are going to change. Things changed for my wife. She began forgetting things and talking about things from the distant past. I took care of her for nearly a year, but it got to the point where I could no longer handle her.My daughter and I searched the area for someplace we could put her where we would both feel safe. We happened up on the Grande in our search and we’re graciously shown the facility. It was clean and it was friendly. My wife has now been there about eight weeks and I admire the way they have helped her. The people are friendly. They have activities nearly every day. They include everybody. I now live by myself in our house And my wife lives at the Grande. I don’t particularly like the situation of living alone, but I feel that she is being kept very safe and treated very well. I am glad that we found the Grande.

I’m so very happy I found The Grande Senior Living for my 97 year young Mom. Shes so pleased with everyone here. Such loving care she receives on a daily basis. Shes a very picky eater and she’s actually bragging about her meals and desserts. From the very start with Vinnie I knew this was the place for Mom. He helped tremendously in her transition, emotionally and financially. Mom has so to speak come back to life. With all the activities that Kelly and Josh have kept her busy with. Terri is so organized she keeps everything rolling without a hitch. It was hard emotionally for me to move her from my home. This is a God send, as shes so happy and my knowing shes in such good loving hands makes the move the best thing I could have done for her.

I stopped in the Grande today and couldn't help but notice how beautiful the facility was. At the front desk, I was greeted by Patty, whole was so nice! She decorates the front lobby every season and her Easter set up is marvelous! The wellness director, Jami, was completely professional and shows genuine care for the residents of the Grande. I would feel comfortable with these lovely people taking care of my loved ones!

The best way to understand why I gave The Grande a 5 star rating is to compare them with the out-of-state nursing facility where my Dad laid for 4 months, failing to thrive. They fought to keep my Dad there with their outrageous prices and limited care. The day he left, he was dressed in severely stained clothing. They never got him out of bed or sat him up. For 4 months he asked for a cheeseburger from their alacarte menu, never had one! Asked for a simple breakfast of eggs, got rolled oats every single morning for 4 months. When he asked for help, they'd shut off the light, leave the room and Dad would wait. So he wouldn't get targeted, he told me not to file a complaint. The bed was broken and never repaired or replaced. Doctor appointments were missed and I couldn't get updates, even though Dad made me the POA! No interactions, socialization or integration of my Dad into the community. His therapy didn't go well, and it was all his fault. His personal wheelchair continued to disappear from his room and the one that gave us when he was discharged, isn't the one he had when admitted. The brand new tshirts he purchased were gone. In addition to the stained one he was wearing, 2 more with stains were thrown in a bag, and a 3x large was included. My Dad wears a small. His cell phone charging items were gone and the staff had to look for $150 cash that was missing. Now, The Grande: the nightmare we endured to transfer my Dad can't be fully explained. Vinnie and Jamie worked tirelessly to start and complete the assessment to make sure The Grande could care for my Dad. They put in alot of hours, not even sure if Dad could be accepted. The first facility fought them and tried to say The Grande couldn't provide proper care. Vinnie and Jamie wouldn't give up. If The Grande wasn't the right fit, they were committed to finding what Dad needed and recommending another place that could care for him. This ordeal with the other agency went on for weeks! There were so many aspects that had to be considered, level of care needed, physical concerns, future therapy, would Dad thrive. Vinnie made sure the paperwork was in order, worked on solutions to get my Dad in a better environment, walked me through everything, answered questions no matter if they were repeated. He saw the exacerbating stress, and minimized it whenever possible. He was determined to do what he could do so my Dad would have a better life! The first facility wouldn't co-operate and do a video assessment of my Dad. Vinnie didn't just want to fill a bed, he wanted to make sure The Grande and its staff were the right fit for Dad. That video was essential before we could proceed with admission, and the first facility knew that! Jamie, head nurse, had to go through extreme lengths to get that assessment. The longer the delay, the more money that facility made. Jamie was tenacious and kept calling until they finally did the video. She wouldn't give up. At that point, Vinnie saw Dad could be helped, and he is finally here. His first meal...a cheeseburger! Jamie and Emily have been a blessing as Dad settles in. They and the rest of the staff are determined to have my Dad thrive and be treated as a human being, not a cash cow. Dad's meds are being checked, he has an in-house doctor appointment this week. He is leaving his bed and his room for the first time in over 4 months, and they are working on making him feel like he is in a loving, caring community. Thank you, everyone at The Grande. Now my Dad will get the respect and care he deserves. It is a blessing to see my Dad start to regain the health he lost at the other place.

I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to The Grande Assisted Living in Brooksville, especially Vinnie, for their exceptional support during my aunt's recent move. I contacted Vinnie less than a week before Thanksgiving, hoping to relocate my aunt from South Florida to Brooksville. He went above and beyond, making the seemingly impossible happen. Thanks to him, my aunt was able to spend both Thanksgiving and Christmas with family. The staff and residents have been incredibly kind and welcoming, and my aunt is thriving in her new environment. The nurses are especially loving and nurturing, providing her with excellent care and making her feel comfortable and secure. The activities and decorations in the social hall are wonderful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the receptionists are always helpful and kind. I’m so grateful for the care my aunt is receiving. I highly recommend The Grande, especially for those in the Brooksville area due to its convenient location.

My experience so far with Mom at the Grande has been a good one. Starting with Vinnie, who showed mom and I around. He was very pleasant and professional he answered all our questions satisfactorily. Vinnie continued to communicate when needed for several days before the big move in date. The nursing staff, Jami and Alyssa, welcomed us with a visit to Moms room the day she moved in. Jami was great at explaining how the medications would be distributed by the Med Techs, and informed us of meal times and laundry days. She also explained the system using the call button that each resident is given as soon as they move in. Mom has been there for almost a week now, the transition is going well, the aids are all kind and attentive to mom's needs. Kelly, the activity director, came and introduced herself to mom, and discussed all the wonderful activities they had to offer daily! Kelly's enthusiasm was great in getting Mom involved, she even came to get her for her first activity, as mom is not much for getting motivated to do things on her own. This just may be mom's forever home

He was so helpful especially when my wife brought her parents without me to make the final arrangement. ( she was so emotional and he was there for her. A big Thank you) We experienced a great lunch with her parents at the dinning room South side and Angel was so pleasant and helpful as well Janice in administration went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and moving our parents in. We toured The Grande looking last fall looking to find a place for my dad, after seeing 3 or 4 other sites, we were tired and still on the fence. When we walked into The Grande, I felt a sense of relief. My husband and I were greeted with kind staff, we stayed for lunch in their main dining room, the food was good. It felt like home. We decided to bring dad back to take a look, and he loved it. He has been at there now for about 5 months, and always has wonderful things to say when we visit. thank you so much for making him feel right at home.
