Rockland Place is a wonderful place for your loved ones. My husband was there 9 years ago. He was well taken care of, the meals were delicious (I ate with him a few times), & the staff was very dedicated to the residents. Now, my cousin is living there and it seems to be even better than before. Marie Velazquez is phenomenal! She is kind, friendly & caring and always smiling & upbeat! She loves the residents (& their guests) and it shows in her interactions with them. I think she probably knows everyone's name! I've only met a few other employees so far, and they were all very helpful & made me feel comfortable. If you're looking for a place, take a tour of Rockland Place and see for yourself.

I was sad when my friend’s dementia has declined to a point that she had to be moved to an assisted living facility. However, since I’ve been there and seen it, I wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else! She is very happy there. She always has a smile on her face. Her hair is cut and clean, and her room and laundry are well cared for. The environment is clean, has friendly staff, prepared meals in a nice dining room, many activities, a hair salon, and much more.

Rockland place is such a great and friendly community. I’ve visited a few times before and I love It! It’s so different from many other communities.. There are many people there that made my experience so special! Marie Velazquez, she’s always smiling, is kind hearted and very professional. Paul Taylor is funny, kind and really good at making one feel right at home! Kimberly L. along with Tymesha M. are also amazing at what they do! They make sure the residents are safe, well cared for, and comfortable! Rockland has plenty of great staff that just make Rockland not feel like a work environment but they make It feel like home..

This community is so different than all the other ones I’ve visited.. rockland has amazing workers that go above and beyond! Marie Velazquez the sales director is amazing she always has a smile on her face! Then we have Sharon, the activities director she’s always so positive and hard working! Rockland has amazing activities and WU classes! Rockland is a great happy environment for your loved ones!

A big decision and logistical undertaking in moving our beautiful 92 year young Auntie from an eldercare residential community in Princeton, NJ -- to Rockland Place in Wilmington, DE was made comforting and extraordinarily easy by the wonderful staff. On the day of the move, Marie Velazquez greeted us at front door with a warm and welcoming smile. She is an all-world Director of Sales and much more. The medical team was gentle, gracious, professional and efficient in conducting their assessment of our Auntie upon our arrival. And Paul Taylor, Executive Director capped off the first few hours of our arrival with a personal welcome. We are very lucky to have our Auntie residing at this facility.

We are so pleased and grateful to the staff at Rockland Place! When our parents moved in (2021) they were in a quiet apartment and the staff kept an extra eye on them as our mom has dementia. After our dad died, they were supportive and caring as we figured out the safest way to continue Mom’s care. I am quickly notified of any medical issues, all 3 of us are alerted to any changes/concerns/happy events, and my brother receives clear financial invoices each month. Any one of us is welcomed to visit at any time, and our mom is always clean and neat (she needs staff assistance for almost everything at this point). As a health care provider myself, I fully appreciate the work that goes into providing this level of quality care.

Rockland Place Senior Living is fantastic. The staff are friendly, engaging, and attentive. Overall, Rockland is a warm and inviting community where your loved ones will be well cared for and safe. Dining Services are simply EXCEPTIONAL! The Dining Director, Chef Warren, and assistant, Tyhisha Caine, go above and beyond with menu development to meet resident's restrictive needs. They strive to make the dining room a true "experience" for everyone. Too, their staff are patient, kind, and exceed when it comes to paying attention to necessary detail.

Rockland Place continues to be The Best place for my mother for over one year now! The staff are caring and comforting to my mom, as well as kind and friendly!! I want to mention Carolyn who takes care of the greeting desk when you enter the community! I have observed her in action with residents, and she is Excellent at her job!! Marie was absolutely fabulous to work with in a very difficult situation. She made my Mom and siblings comfortable and calm as hard decisions were necessary about the move to Rockland. I have been a resident here at Rockland Place for about four years. I have found that most hit most of the staff here very good with the people who live here. There are always some that are not so good but I’m sure that’s the way it is everywhere there are those that are set exceptionally excellent with what they do. I see these people as all around to be kind confident And a pleasure to share our time with. In particular I believe that Marie who is in sales is probably the top person here that I respect and enjoy her understanding dealing with just about any subject

I am always very impressed with Rockland Place when I visit. The staff is so helpful and gracious. When I arrive to lead an activity, they have all the residents ready and the room prepared. All the residents seem so well cared for. The areas are clean and very attractively decorated. I enjoy visiting as a singer and a dancer monthly.

Both my Dad (before he passed) and my Mom (who is still a resident) appreciate the management and staff here. The family appreciates the care and attention they get 24/7. 5 stars - hands down. (Also think it stupid that Google lets someone drop a one star comment with no commentary or input. I'm sure if you have a beef with the place the management wants to know.)

Having recently worked with the management staff of Michele Holdsworth and Bobbi Cassidy at Rockland Place, I can tell you it was a first class experience. They made the transition for one of my clients straightforward and easy. Michele was clear and succinct with the sales effort. Her follow-up was pleasant, timely and professional. No tasks were left to chance. Bobbi Cassidy took care of all the health care records and continues to communicate any needs. All in all, it was a pleasant, thorough and easy experience. What more could anyone ask for.

Earlier this month I moved my husband to Rockland Place with the help of both Michelle Holdsworth (Sales Director) and Bobbi Cassidy ( Resident Care Director). This move came after another local assisted living facility did not uphold their admissions agreement with us. What a blessing having to move him a 3rd time in 6 months turned out to be! Michelle went way beyond the call of duty to get incomplete discharge records straightened out so that the move could be made quickly. She even visited him in the other facility so as to assure him that all would work out for the better. Bobbi both helped us select the appropriate situation for him there at Rockland and arranged for a necessary accommodation, so as to meet his medication needs. While my husband has only been at Rockland for a little over two weeks, the change both in his acceptance of the limitations imposed by his Parkinson’s disease and his happiness quotient has been remarkable. Each day he becomes more content and more involved in the Rockland Community and sings the praises of the many people who comprise his support staff, as well as of the in-house Bayada therapists. I personally experience why my husband feels so positive each time I visit. This placement has allowed me a peace of mind I never had when he was in the other local facilities . I am, therefore, most grateful to Michelle and Bobbi, as well as to all of the administrators and support staff, for their efforts on our behalf and I encourage anyone reading this review to consider Rockland Place for your loved one’s needs. It may just be the right fit.
