My mother was a resident of the Brandywine Reflections/Memory Care Unit. Throughout her stay, she was well taken care of by both the Care Managers and Nurses. The Activities Department provided the residents with enjoyable daily activities, holiday celebrations and family events. Most importantly, my mother was happy and content throughout her stay. Our mother resided at Brandywine Living at Seaside Pointe, Rehoboth Beach, DE. The continuity of care and nurturing family environment is exemplary. From the Housekeeping Department, Building Maintenance Department, Administration and Nursing Department, Activities and loving conscientious CNA team, our mother's care was an on-going partnership between family and the Brandywine team. Our mother and family were always greeted and welcomed by personnel and residents, when walking down the family decorated corridors. Brandywine continually strives to ensure that residences' ever changing needs are met and monitors the continuity of services provided. We are extremely grateful for this gem of a Senior Living facility. To say facility, just does not convey the all-encompassing services provided by Brandywine Living at Seaside Point, in Rehoboth Beach Delaware.

My friend who is 89 entered Brandywine in October 2022 after her fall in August. The entering process was great. Director and intaking personnel were very helpful. Front desk folks are always pleasant and answer all my questions. There is some room for improvement for communication to and from the facility and as anywhere staff shortage may be an issue. Thank you to staff for what they do every day.

My mom moved to Brandywine in August 2022. The staff there are wonderful and go out of their way to make the residents feel at home. They have lots of activities every day, the food is great, and my mom's health has improved from all the walking and exercise classes! She is blessed to be living there.

We moved our father into Brandywine Assisted Living in Rehoboth Beach, DE in October, 2022. He recently became a widower and was living too far from us kids. It has been so nice having him closer and Brandywine was the perfect fit! They guided us every step of the way thru the move in process, paperwork, and helping to make the adjustments for Dad as smooth as possible. We can't thank the staff at Brandywine enough for all they do to help Dad enjoy his new life in Delaware!

My beloved husband was a resident at Brandywine Living, Seaside Pointe for 16 months. These are such difficult and emotional decisions. Each day that he was at Brandywine, he was loved, supported and provided the best of care by every member of the staff. The compassion and dedication is the hallmark of Brandywine. I received the support that was much needed. No organization is perfect. At Brandywine, when I brought up an issue, the response and resolution was prompt and thorough. What more can a spouse ask for? And now, since his passing, I can still feel that support as I receive "how are you doing" messages. Thank you to all. I am eternally grateful for all you did for Mr. T!!!!!!

My Mom came to Bradywine @Seaside in June 2021. She was able to immediately acclimate due to the wonderful staff . She felt comfortable in the caring environment. The entire staff is caring, helpful and compassionate. She was able to be maintain her independence yet received help when she needed it. I would recommend Brandywine

We used Brandywine Living at Seaside Pointe for a 3 week respite stay of our elderly family member. The staff and the entire facility were great! The rooms were clean and well appointed. Our wheelchair bound family member needed full care which Brandywine handled beautifully. We highly recommend and would not hesitate to use them again. Thank You!

My husband and I found a new home for my mother-in-law Candy at Brandywine in Rehoboth Beach in 2011, three years after she moved in with us. At age 87 her progressive dementia was making it unsafe for her to remain at home, especially since we were still working out of state several days-week. In-home care was no longer viable, and we made the difficult decision to find her professional residential care. From our first meeting, Executive Director Donna Winegar and Director of Community Relations Heidi McNeely were supportive and helpful in assessing Candys needs and explaining how Brandywine could meet them. They provided information about her care, advice about long term financial payment and assured us that every caregiver would keep Candy safe and care for her physical and emotional needs. We found over time that residents were not left in their rooms on their own. In the Reflections Memory Care Unit residents are in the main living areas for a variety of stimulating activities, crafts, parties, musical presentations, dance parties and holiday celebrations. Reshell Bridell, INVEST Coordinator expertly planned these events and assured all residents and their families had the opportunity to attend and be involved. Over the years we enjoyed many holiday meals with Candy in the beautiful dining room. Candy loved it all, had many friends among the residents and staff, and seemed very happy. Towards the end of her life we were not sure if she knew who we were, but it did not matter because she was smiling most of the time. Our weekly visits with her were truly quality time, and the decision to place her at Brandywine was absolutely the right one for our family. Candy peacefully passed away at Brandywine last week at the age of 95 after eight years of being lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff there. Her dementia became severe over time. The aides, nurses and activities staff were so tolerant of the sometimes agitated and obstinate behavior that people with progressive dementia exhibit (aide Katie Bell was especially good at this!). The staff were trained to handle these situations with respect and dignity. My husband and I visited at different times of the day, observed many staff interactions, and found consistent professional behavior every time we visited. The Brandywine staff became like family to us. On Candys last evening her nurse Bud Morgan was incredibly supportive and attentive to her and us as she passed. We will never forget his kindness that evening and the wonderful and loving care we witnessed for all eight years at Brandywine.

My husband and I could not be happier with the warm, welcoming lifestyle that my mother-in-law now has at Brandywine Assisted Living at Seaside Pointe. She was previously living alone and although we attempted private home care and daily visits with her, we slowly learned that this wasn't the best set up for her or for our family. We were overwhelmed and we knew she needed to live in an environment that would provide socialization as well as supervision and care. My mother-in-law is now thriving at Brandywine and calls us every day to tell us what activities she attended that day and what new friends she has made. We haven't seen her this happy and healthy in a long time. Her happiness makes us happy!

The administration and staff are caring and compassionate people who take care of my Mother and truly care about her well being. The facility is lovely and there is always some type of great activity going on for the residents as well as activities for family members to share with their loved ones. The facility has a home like appearance where my mother spends time in the "living room" and "dining room" and on the "patio." I am grateful that we have a facility of this caliber in Southern Delaware.
