Brookdale Wilton – Reviews
October 2022
This is a wonderful, small knit community. With a small quaint like charm, this community is perfect for any senior who wants to feel apart of something bigger than themselves. Both program directors go above and beyond to create wonderful meaningful programs their residents love. With staffing that has been here for over 18 years, it is no wonder, the residents are so well cared for.

My mother spent the last 3.5 years of her life in the memory care unit at Brookdale Wilton with an incredible staff, led by Liz and others who loved and laughed and danced with my mother. I would get updates and photos regularly and I got to know staff from Gloria at the front to all of the administration, CNAs and aides. They have become a family to both my mother and to me and I will be grateful to them forever.

My mother was a resident of Brookdale for six years, from assisted living to dementia care. The staff was wonderful and she loved them as well. The nursing staff was professional and attentive. Her room, as well as the others in the facility, were always immaculate. The grounds were lovely. There was weekly live entertainment and fun family events. It was expensive, but worth every penny.

The Brookdale Wilton is top notch. My mother was in the Atria Stamford and it was one disater after another there, no attention to detail, no care, it was awful and I had to move my mother. I did not want to make another costly mistake and scoured Fairfield County, I really wanted to stay closer to Stamford-Greenwich, but when I got to Brookdale Wilton, I knew this was the place. The level of care and attention to detail her is amazing. My mother has been here for 4-years and we both love it. The executive director, the chef, the nurses, all of the staff is amazing and goes above and beyond, which is what you would expect at a care facility, but from what I have learned is not always the case. I highly recommend Brookdale Wilton, even if it seems a bit further away, the level of care is worth it

Recently toured Brookdale in Wilton and instantly felt the warmth and charm. The staff was very nice and answered all of my questions. Sandra was very informative, direct and honest. As it turns out, Im getting transferred to out of state but I will definitely be looking at Brookdale facilities there.

Back in February, my siblings and I were laser focused in our search for an assisted living facility for my parents as it was apparent that they could no longer take care of themselves. We looked and visited in person or virtually at all the facilities in the surrounding areas of Stamford, CT. Price, care quality, and location were determining factors. We reconnected with Sandra Steeves (whom we met years back working for a different facility in Stamford) now with Brookdale. Sandra should be commended for her dedication and down to earth way she interacts with clients. She is very knowledgeable as we were newbies and ready to take next steps with our parents. She worked tirelessly and provided insight on things we should be looking for and offered suggestions on our concerns. Staff was friendly and the way things were set up was resident focused. Although we opted for a location closer to where my siblings live, I would always be grateful for the time and knowledge she spent with us and Id recommend Brookdale any time. I can tell that Sandra loves her work and helping families make this difficult transition and consider her an invaluable asset to the Brookdale community.

A pleasure working with Sandra Steeves. Very dedicated to ensuring new residents will be comfortable and well cared for at Brookdale. Sandra is nothing less than professional and dedicated to the well-being of her clients and their families.

Simple assisted living. If youre needs are Severe it is not for you. The staff is friendly. Food is average. No overnight nurses. Our father was comfortable there.

Toured 12/21/17. Nice Location, fantastic staff. Problem is two bedroom does not have living room and far distance from my sister in NY.

We toured this community for my mother in law, and her needs. The tour went well overall. but we did not feel this was the right match for her, and her needs.

The tour was very thorough and I was able to see that it was a smaller community. I was also not to happy with the cleanliness and it looked outdated. To me the Memory Care was tiny and I felt like one would get claustrophobic. It was a great tour but it was not big enough.

They are great! The staff is extremely friendly, they can't be nicer. Everyone is so pleasant, I haven't seen a grouchy person there yet. Their medication management is a little higher than most. The food is good, I went to a family barbecue they had and it was good. I really liked the location, and that it was a small enough place that she could get to know people. I liked the atmosphere here better, I liked the rocking chairs on the porch, the grounds are nice and it's a very homey atmosphere. They were also very accommodating, because of the room they had available, they really worked with us.

They do offer some really nice things for the residents to do and there is only like forty-five residents so they can really concentrate on the residents. That was a determining factor for us. The food seems to be pretty ok.
