I can't say enough great things about The IVY! From the moment we entrusted our loved one to their care, we've been consistently impressed with their attentiveness, compassion, and clear communication. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure residents are well taken care of and feel at home. Whenever we've had questions or concerns, the team has been quick to respond with professionalism and kindness, always keeping us informed about any updates. It's such a relief knowing our family member is in such capable, caring hands. Thank you, The IVY, for all that you do!

The Ivy – Memory Care Highly recommend The Ivy provides a loving and caring community for its residents and family members. Our first tour of the community, after touring a few other facilities, convinced me that this would be a good place for mom. When mom moved in it was with a great deal of trepidation and resistance on her part and the transition was difficult, the staff worked with us to help her (and us) to become better oriented. It was a learning curve for sure but we were treated with the utmost respect. Mom adapted with help from the staff and her family and was able to participate in activities to a certain extent. As her dementia started to really take over it did become more difficult, and I do think that the Ivy could benefit from having a few more hands to help with the different levels of abilities. The Ivy is meant to be an “age in place” for their residents. This was one of the things that sold me on this facility though we knew would have to bring in private aides to assist in providing the additional personal care that was needed at that stage (personal hygiene, feeding when it became necessary, etc). We were guided by the Ivy nursing staff to a very reputable outside agency to contract with. The agency staff and Ivy staff worked in concert to provide mom with the best of care. Were there some hiccups along the way? Of course, but they were resolved immediately. Next step was moving onto hospice unfortunately, but again, we were counseled and guided by the Ivy staff to locate a reputable agency with whom they worked well with. I can’t say enough about the support, guidance and respect we received from all involved.

You feel right at home as soon as you walk through the doors of the Ivy Watertown. You are greeted by all smiles starting with the receptionist, staff and residents! I have had the pleasure of eating at The Ivy a couple of times and the food is delicious. The space is clean and cozy with the most tasteful decor. Be sure to add The Ivy to your list when exploring senior living communities. You will not be disappointed. Ask for Stephanie Vollaro! She is knowledgeable, energetic, and takes great pride in her work. Five stars all around.

When the time came to place our mom with Parkinson’s, we visited many assisted living facilities in the area. The Ivy was impressive and offered everything she would need and more. The staff is attentive and caring. The Ivy is beautiful, very well maintained, and the apartments are gorgeous. Our mom is so happy there, they offer many activities, out trips, and social engagements everyday. Not to leave out that the food is amazing too! We feel very secure in knowing that mom is happy and safe while making friends and enjoying life again.

My husband's Dad has been at the Ivy since July first, 2021. He has gotten the best care possible/all the staff, from managers to caregivers, are so kind and loving to him. His needs with dementia are met, along with constant monitoring for his physical needs as well with the nursing staff. Most importantly, he is safe and the environment is such a positive place. Daily activities are planned and the facility is so lovely. The meals are outstanding and his apartment is neat and clean. Upon entry to the building, you are always greeted with a smile and kind and compassionate words. We highly recommend this place for your loved one.

All departments (nursing & care, housekeeping, culinary, activities, maintenance, etc.) are dedicated and have great teamwork & communication which creates a positive and caring atmosphere. The team goes above and beyond to not only meet the needs of residents but to really get to know each individuals hobbies to offer multiple opportunities of engagement that interests and benefits the individual. The prices are very competitive. Give them a call of you have a loved one that deserves this type of attention and care. They also have an assisted living area for about 60 residents.
