A wonderful place to work!
April 2023
My mother had a massive stroke which resulted in living at Masonicare for a little over eleven years. My father and I visited my mother faithfully every day. I have seen a lot during those eleven years. Long Term Care was a real challenge after COVID when people decided they rather stay home then come back to work. Turnover was high and employees were stretched thin. And It didn't matter to me that the rooms are small and outdated or other things like that. The most important thing was that my mother was always happy there, she adapted very well to living in a nursing home when that was clearly not how she wanted to spend the rest of her life. She loved the staff and they loved her. That's what matters. I want to thank all of the employees who really went above and beyond up until my mother passed away to join my father two weeks after he passed. I am especially grateful for Keisha from the cafeteria on Ramage four who always did a little dance for my mother when she could have just passed by her room, Alan, Ryan, and Jason who always made my mother smile and helped when she was frustrated, CC who always helped me when my mother was frustrated, and most of all Jane who was my Masonicare Angel the whole time my mother was there, who helped me with all of my concerns and gripes every time I needed help. I want to thank of of you who came to see my mother when she was in hospice. It really touched me that you cared so much to come and say goodbye. The most important thing to me was my mother's happiness. And these employees made her very happy. God Bless all of you and all Masonicare employees who are genuine, caring, and compassionate. Thank you so much for making my mother's not so golden years much better.

My mother-in-law just spent 2 weeks in short-term rehab and I can't say enough about the incredible care she received. The unit was beautiful and her care top notch. She is now home with Masonicare at Home and Masonicare Home Health services and is thrilled with her caregivers.

My Dad spent 42 days of rehab at Masonicare. They did a fantastic job taking care of my Dad. A few specifics. Thank you to Jen Nolan, his social worker who did a wonderful job managing my Dad's care and keeping me informed. Anna, my Dad's nurse in 3 Sturgess was awesome and also kept me well informed. Thank you Sue the nurse's aid for being so kind to my Dad. Thank you to all the other nurses and aids in 3 Sturgess for your great work. Thank you to admissions for such a smooth beginning. Thank you Maureen the Medicare nurse for all your help. Thank you to Donna in billing for your help. The place is very clean and everyone one I met was very nice and professional. Only one thing that drove me slightly nuts is that they kept losing my Dad's clothes. However, overall, in my opinion, Masonicare deserves 5 Stars.
