You are treated like family when you walk through the door. The staff is fantastic - Trish, Jasmine, Sonia Becky, Michelle Marie and Joan, nurses go up and beyond on everything they do - they are always so positive and caring to the patients - their kindness makes everyone happy. The activities are great - especially the music - which is enjoyed by all. Trish definitely made us make the right decision to put my husband here.

TLDR: Facility is welcoming and clean, food is good, activities are consistent. I highly recommend. Parent resided here for ~4.5 years. Long version: The obvious: We didn't want to need to move our then-mid-60's mother into a memory care facility. But the reality is that it was the safest, most enriching choice for her. Though Bridges may come out a little more expensive at times or in the end, compared to tiered-care facilities, knowing the price is set each month gave our family piece of mind. When selecting Bridges, we were also drawn to the fact that all the residents require memory care; therefore, everything is built and all staff are trained around that reality. Checking in at the desk as a visitor and then having the freedom to move about the building made visits efficient and removed the need to interrupt a staff member in order to be let in/out as a guest. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic began just months after mom moving in. So, there went the outings! But the 4-household structure helped control spread and the staff was very communicative with our family as things evolved. We always felt Bridges did the best they could during that very challenging time. They even started video calls with family members which are now a staple for family who lives out of state. Outdoor space is great. Staff is loving, friendly, and kind. Thank you Bridges!

I have been working at Bridges by EPOCH in Trumbull for almost four years now. The way every single staff member cares about our residents, truly shows in our day to day life. The staff support each other unlike any other company I've worked at from the wellness team to dietary. I love that there is an open door policy and you can speak to any manager any time and they are always in to help out. It truly is a family. I am and have been very happy at Bridges.

My mother in law was at Bridges from August of 2022 til her passing in May of 2023. When she arrived she was on Hospice. After a short time she was taken off Hospice and did ok. The staff was very attentive and she was well taken care of. The food was excellent, we actually had dinner with her many times, including Thanksgiving! The chef came up, as he often did, to check everything was OK and it was! The activities team were excellent. They encouraged all of the residents to attend the many events they had. They had many types of games, crafts, movies, and exercise programs throughout the day. They had singing, pianists, guitarists, violinists, etc. several times a week. They had "Happy Hours" with wine, beer, and many horsd'oeuvres. We were invited to come to all of there functions. As needed she was put back on Hospice and as she failed the staff was there for her and us. We're very grateful for the care the Bridges Family gave her.

I normally don't write many Google reviews but because of the exceptional service that the entire Bridges staff has provided (and is providing) to me and my uncle, I really feel it's necessary to share my experience with this special place for anyone who is currently looking into long-term care for their loved one and is considering Bridges. My uncle has Parkinson's Disease with Lewy Body Dementia and was only recently diagnosed with LBD a few weeks before he moved into Bridges. It was a stressful time for me because I had just been appointed POA and there were so many things going on that needed to be taken care of; paperwork, POA related issues like taking over bill payments, etc., finding places to look at where he could go to live and get appropriate care after hospital discharge, trying to work with social workers/case managers to try and find out his official diagnoses so I could pinpoint exactly what type of long-term care we'd need to look into for him, etc. It was completely overwhelming and I felt so lost and defeated. I had looked at a few places to get my uncle into once he was ready to leave the hospital but nothing seemed like a good fit until... I pulled up to Bridges. And just as I walked through the front door of the big, beautiful building, I was greeted by a woman named Susan. I didn’t know it, but she was an angel. We chatted for a while about the facility and what they could offer my uncle and she gave me a tour. She was so friendly and understanding and really made me feel like she cared. (She even sent me home with a warm apple pie!) I told her I wasn’t sure if my uncle would be able to live there because his needs were more than what an average assisted living place typically could handle. Susan reassured me that he could. She asked me for some basic information and took the reins, which really helped me to feel calm, cool and collected and eased my mind about everything going on. Susan went full throttle. She was the one who got answers when none of the hospital case managers were calling me back, when no one could give me straight answers. She was the one who guided me and organized everything to get my uncle where he needed to be. She was the one who went over and beyond to make sure my uncle was taken care of and getting the attention he needed. When we needed something, Susan was there (and she still is now). I can't thank her enough. Honestly, I was curious if this amazing service would stop once my uncle was moved in since they already have our business but I can confidently say it hasn't. The ENTIRE Bridges staff has been unbelievable. Every single one of those staff members cares about their residents and it REALLY shows. Some things to point out that really wowed me were: Before my uncle moved into Bridges, I had to unpack him and the maintenance men helped assemble his bed, hang pictures, move furniture, etc…. On the day my uncle moved in, the kitchen manager, Gary, came into our room to inquire what my uncle’s favorite snacks were so he could make sure they had them in the pantry for him… When we were still unpacking, the nurses all trickled in one by one and wanting to see his prized train collection they had heard so much about… Susan ordered him tags for his clothing… for Christmas, the staff bought all of the residents presents so they each would have a gift to open on Christmas morning… When it was his birthday the other day, they planned a whole celebration for him and another resident and ordered cake! Mostly, what blew me away was my uncle hadn’t walked in over a month before he came to Bridges and within a week of moving in, it was like a miracle. He was wheeling himself places in his wheelchair, participating in all of their fitness classes/activities and WALKING to the bathroom himself! I could go on and on about this place. Please, if you care about your loved one and want to make sure they are well taken care of, check out this place. I have zero regrets. And a big THANK YOU to the entire Bridges staff who take such great care of my uncle.

Our story is probably like many others who have a loved one residing in assisted living. We were losing my Mom as she began to shut down due to forced Covid isolation where she was previously living last March. Her dementia became more pronounced and we began to look into a facility that would be able to address her special needs. To say that Bridges has given her back to us is why I want to write this review. From the very first day, Justin was there for us as we began to navigate the huge job of relocating my Mom to Bridges. And the staff that we began to meet (among them Jenna, Doris, Lisa, Yvonne, Marilyn, Becky, Audrey, JoAnne, Jackie, Gary and so many others) were so professional and caring that my Mom soon began to feel like she was home again in a safe, comfortable environment. She then began to take part in the many activities that were offered and soon had much to tell us every morning when I would call her at 9am. And my husband and I have also been a part of some of the fun events like the Mother's Day celebration and Friday Happy Hours. We have been present to hear the many musical guests that Bridges schedules and love seeing my Mom up and dancing with the wonderful aides. Bridges has truly brought my Mom back to us as she is now thriving and happy. I cannot thank the compassionate and competent staff enough times when I see them for all they do, And, I also want to give a shout out to Trish, Bridges Executive Director, who has been available to me whenever I had a question or any kind of problem. No matter the time of day, if I emailed Trish, she responded immediately and took care of whatever was concerning me. I appreciate that kind of commitment that everyone who cares for the Bridges community seems to have. My family thanks all of you who cared enough about my Mom to help her become the person she was before Covid. Her smiling face speaks volumes about the kind of care one can expect from the Bridges staff. Thank you.

We could not have chosen a better home for mom. I feel the entire staff goes way beyond just caring for your loved one's, they give you peace of mind that mom is safe. I loved that each resident has their own private room allowing mom to have her own paintings, photos and familiar furniture around her. I would like to thank everyone from reception, nursing, all caregiver associates, culinary staff, Trish, Justin and Tony for making mom's last year a good experience

I toured Bridges looking for a comfortable environment for my husband. It is a very impressive place for seniors to thrive in. There are so many activities and amenities available for your loved one. The neighborhoods are such a nice idea and the residents all looked happy relating to one another. This is a choice well made for your loved one!

Our Dad was a resident of Bridges by Epoch in Trumbull for a little over a year. He received outstanding care and thoroughly enjoyed all the fun activities, outings and entertainment offered daily to the residents. Kitchen staff went out of their way to comfort him with his favorite foods and beverages. Family members were always welcome to join at mealtime which we did often. Bridges also offered many fun-filled events like barbecues for all residents, their families and the staff to enjoy and mingle together. Management and staff at Bridges are extremely compassionate and professional. They work tirelessly with the residents and are very responsive to each residents wants and needs. Highly recommended!
