Moving my mother to Atria Larson Place has been one of the best decisions we've made for her care. It provides tremendous peace of mind knowing she is receiving excellent support from a compassionate and dedicated staff who genuinely enjoy what they do. The community is exceptionally well maintained, the dining options are excellent, and there is a wide variety of activities to suit different interests and personalities. While my mother is not particularly social, she has enjoyed sharing meals with other residents and attending musical events, both indoors and in the courtyard. We are grateful for the positive impact Atria has had on her quality of life.

I have a studio apartment. Privacy is important to me. It’s very nice. Very nice area to take walks . The management is attentive to my special needs. Food is great. A place to put mom (dad) let’s face it. You need to live your life, and putting your parents away is a difficult decision . Your parents could fall or worse constantly annoy you. This is a place to put them guilt free . It could be worsebuena vista apartments or a state nursing home..this is a guilt free place to to put them. Atria Larson will has are care of their special needs. You get your own beautiful apartmentand unlike Buena vista apartments there are no shootings or crime. The dining room staff get an A for effort. The dining room is -boys sit with the boys-girls sit with the girls. I think it makes the old ladies less nervous. they try to sit you with someone like your personality. I always sit with the old bitter ,angry recovering (or presently active) alcoholic old men. The best table mate I had was deaf and didn’t say anything. Got along so good with him. If you like to take walks this is a great place.

Atria Larsen Place is a treasure. The entire staff provided excellent care to my father during the three years he resided there. Every one gave him warmth, care, dignity and respect. That was paramount to me when selecting a community for him.,He always mentioned that everyone is so nice and makes me feel like family’. That in itself is a gift and knowing and experiencing that first hand provides great peace of mind. Thank you to all! What you do and what you give means so much more than I can express .

The first thing you notice about this community is how friendly and nice all of the staff are. Every single person from every single department is welcoming warm and genuinely cares about all of the residents in their care. There was tons of activities going on and the food looked and smelled delicious.

I have been to Atria Larson Place for many events and also as a companion hired by family to escort the resident to the appointment. The facility is always so clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. During the events I have attended the residents enjoy themselves. The concerts (indoor and outdoor) are great.

Atria Larson Place isn't just a beautiful building - it's a place of warmth thanks to it's staff. I just want to take a moment and give a shout-out to Robyn, who oversees the programs and activities. As a clinician, I've had the opportunity to conduct talks on brain health and dementia care, which Robyn was able to facilitate. Atria Larson is really just such a wonderful place for Seniors to live and I'm grateful to be able to be a part of this Community as a senior care professional.

If you’re looking for a treasure of a new home, look no further! Atria at Larson has brought love and light back into my Dad’s life. Everyone we’ve met here are sweethearts, residents and the many compassionate people who make this place run so perfectly alike! Thank you to Liz & Jill for being so caring and warm through the process of making this big move, your kindness won’t be forgotten! We are forever grateful for Christi, the head nurse, she is truly an angel on this Earth, she has gone above and beyond to welcome my Dad into the Atria community, and quite literally saved his life! He wouldn’t be here without her!! Lashonda, is Atria’s RN, and she’s wonderful too, she made sure that my Dad’s medication management was all set on day one!! Then there is ReRe, she is a CNA at Atria, and she has treated us like family from the minute we met. I can’t thank her enough, we truly love her. I can go on forever about the people that we look forward to seeing here every day, but in short, you and your loved one will feel welcomed, cared for and in our experience loved. If you’re on the fence about assisted living because you feel you’re losing independence, know it’s actually the opposite, you can focus on doing the things you enjoy, live your best life without worry, have people come visit you in a place that has many areas for socializing, you can have your car or use the provided shuttle to go places, without the burden of having to clean your apartment, or worry about making all of your meals, or spend the day doing laundry, because Atria will take care of all of the chores you’ve likely done your whole life. Come and enjoy Atria at Larson, you won’t be disappointed! To sum up how I feel about this place, it has given us peace of mind and joy.

My mom was there for 15 wonderful months. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Trayvon was a wonderful addition to atria. Always visible in the dementia area making sure everyone was happy. So sorry that mom had to be placed in a nursing home. Cathy Lucian

My husband & I are new residents, having come back East after 30 years absent to a sister Atria from Scottsdale, AZ. So far we are impressed with all phases of management and the care provided to residents. We feel we have found the "cheers" environment, where everyone knows your name and cares.

Our mother was a resident in the memory care section at Atria Larson Place for a little more than a year. In that time we felt as though the staff went out of their way to make it feel like home. Not just for her, but for all of us. The lines of communication were always open and on the rare occasion that we did have an issue, it was quickly resolved. We only moved her out because we couldn't afford private care anymore.

Our aunt has been a resident of Atria Larsen for several years now. We are very, very pleased with the care and attentiveness the staff gives her and the other residents. The communications to the families has been outstanding, especially during Covid-19 surges keeping us abreast of coordinating the patient safety through vaccinations, masks, limiting guests and other CDC guidelines. It was amazing how very few cases Atria Larsen experienced, especially compared to other health care providers. Most recently the staff assisted in coordinating a family party assuring everything fell into place. They all went above and beyond, exceeding all our expectations. I would strongly consider placing a loved one in this facility.

My grandparents were here for a very long time before they moved on to Mary Wade because they needed more care and they loved it people were so nice the staff was wonderful and everybody wanted to help them they also had family visits available where you could eat off of a menu for a certain price and pick what you wanted and you could have like an actual meal with your family member sort of restaurant style and it was wonderful I was recently helped by Elizabeth Hausner who helped me get care for my mom too because my mom needed care after a fall and they worked with us financially too because we live on a fixed income and I'm so proud that my mom is going to be here just like my grandparents were because they had excellent care and everybody loved them and treated them with dignity and respect. Also their covid numbers and protocols were a factor for us too to choose it for our mother. 1 person total and they enacted immediate and safe protocols to keep residents safe unlike many nursing homes around the state.

Mom lives here and the sense of "family" abounds here; from residents caring about the other residents to the staff who really do care about the residents, in-particularly the Executive Director Ron.. He's always there to pitch in no matter what needs being done, assisting in the dining room with serving at a special event, pitching in to help someone move in to the facility, to helping with a clogged toilet when no one else is around. Ron truly exemplifies great leadership and a commitment to the highest level of caring and personal support for the residents and the families at Larson Place.

I am writing to praise 8 employees at Larsen Place. Almost all the employees at this facility are wonderful, but the following individuals come to my mind. My dad is Art Cattaruzza and has been living here for 2 years and 4 months. Patty Highsmith, has been fantastic to my dad and I from the very first day he moved in. She is always upbeat and watches out for him. At a recent party, she danced with my dad, an activity he always enjoyed in the past, and he had a smile on his face from ear to ear. Diana Rivera has shown my dad kindness and caring. I witnessed her helping him get ready one day and applying lotion to his face, which she said was "very dry." This is something others might not even notice or address. Stephanie Genova and Jill Ciafa along with Leslie Totora are always on top of things; whether it be ordering medications, arranging for blood work, faxing doctors and a myriad of other tasks they perform. I know I can call them once and the issue will be handled. Jane D'Amato and Patricia Mirlado always greet me with cheerfulness no matter how busy they are, or how many people are gathered around their desk. They also keep an eye out for my dad. And last but not lest is Ron Bowen, who has handled delicate issues with diplomacy and kindness. He has offered wonderful support from day one. Thank you to everyone at Larsen Place.
