So far The experience is a positive one. We"ve used this company starting with their in home services, and now have them as private CNAs with my parents in a memory care facility . Their aides we have had have all been professional and approachable. Laura, the Director of Marketing has been such a driven factor on staying with this company. Her commitment and communication with my sister and myself is amazing ! She always gets back to us, no matter when . This is the third company we"ve used , and i"m very pleased with the company.

I highly recommend Comfort Keepers to anyone in search of a caring and dependable home care agency. Keeping a person home and safe is serious business. Along with the expected services that are delivered "by contract", it has been my experience that Comfort Keepers can be counted on when the unexpected occurs. For four years they have had my back and I feel very comfortable sharing my confidence in them.

I found Comfort Keepers through "A Place for Mom", the eldercare referral service advertised by TV personality Joan Lunden. I checked out several Assisted Living facilities nearby, as well as several Home Care Agencies in my area. I chose Comfort Keepers for several reasons. Their office is right here in Bloomfield, making it easy for me to work with them. The owner/manager and the nurse coordinator were very personable, and seemed very knowledgeable about home care and my mother's needs. They were willing to have a flexible, split schedule, which worked well to fulfill her needs, as well as cover weekend and holidays. Their caregivers assited Mom with bathing and dressing, made sure she took her meds, (which I set up for her), made her breakfast and dinner, did the dishes, ran laundry, and did light housekeeping, as well as provide her with companionship and socialization. With the exception of ONE person, whose personality just did not mesh well with my Mom, I found their aides to be quite exceptional....kind and caring, conscientious, and very reliable. On the rare occasion that they could not get an aide to cover due to illness, scheduling or inclement weather, the nurse or the manager would show up to care for my Mom! I was still working full time, so having Comfort Keepers enabled my Mom to remain in her own home, which was what she wanted, for 4 more years! The only alternatives would have been an Assisted Living facility or a nursing home, both of which are much more costly. Two months after I retired, Mom's worsening heart failure and progressive dementia made it necessary for her to transition to a nursing home for her own safety and security. I will be eternally grateful to Comfort Keepers for making those 4 years possible.

Comfort Keepers helped us in keeping my mom in her own home the last months of her life. The aide they matched to us was wonderful. My mom was not happy to accept the help she needed, but she and Dorothy quickly developed a lovely relationship. The staff in the office were always very responsive, whether it was an emergency or just the need to change schedule. Based on the experience we had with Comfort Keepers, I would highly recommend them.

During the time when our precious mother needed more specialized assistance at the skilled nursing home facility, Comfort Keepers was recommended to us. Yvonne came to meet mom and won her heart immediately! Maria and her staff at Comfort Keepers, Bloomfield, CT are terrific and were very attentive to the family's needs. When we lost our last senor care aide, my mother was not only disappointed but fearful that we wouldn't be to find a replacement. We not only found a 'replacement' BUT a new member of the family that she looked forward to being with during the week. Thank you Comfort Keepers of Bloomfield, CT for making the transition easy for mom and family.
