This facility is… how can i say this. Nothing but great. They treat their staff with so much respect. The loyalty in this company is one that I've never seen. With my time working here it's been nothing but family vibes. I love everything about morning star senior living. As someone who's been in the medical field for over 10 years I can't believe the negligence this place has. Patrice will ignore the resident amad let their light go off for 30 minutes! And then they take so long to answer to the calls. And they seem more in hurry to get things done then to actually put care into their work. But of course once a supervisor comes around none of this behavior will happen. I've been told so much by people that the manager pick and choose favorite employees. Not someplace I'd want to work or have my family

I am a physical therapist that works in dozens of assisted living communities. I can say that Lance is one of the best caregivers around! He is kind and attentive to the residents that live in MorningStar Parker memory care. He takes the time to explain each step to the resident before he does anything with them to let them know that they are safe. Just incredible!

My family and I visited for my great grandmothers 99th both on the day of her birthday and the day after for an extended family celebration. The woman who helped us most was Angie! She was very kind and helpful on both days! She helped us cut up cake at dinner and made sure we got wonderful service that night. The next day she came by and checked on our whole group and made sure we could ask for anything at any time. We really appreciated how kind everyone was and how helpful they were as well.

My mom lived at Morningstar of Parker assisted living for the last 2.5 years of her life and it was such a comfort to know she was somewhere where she could get the assistance she needed and yet keep her independence. When she first moved in she needed help with only a few tasks, and as time went on, Morningstar was able to match their assistance to her increasing needs. It was great to not have to worry about moving to a different facility since Morningstar has multiple care levels. No, everything wasn't perfect, but I felt heard when I brought up issues. Staffing was a challenge, but this is a reflection on the environment of the moment and not on Morningstar alone. Most other facilities struggle with the same issue. I will say that any staff who wasn't kind and caring didn't stay long. The vast majority of staff, from nursing to aides to housekeeping and dining are kind, caring, and would go out of their way to help my mom. The activities were varied and my mom enjoyed making crafts and cooking in the common room. Having her primary care, physical therapy, and occupational therapy providers on site was wonderful, as my mom could be seen in her apartment and any concerns were addressed right away. Having the salon on site was fabulous and made it easy for her to get her hair and nails done, which also helped her retain independence. I'm so glad she could be at Morningstar and stay in Parker, where she lived for 50 years.

Executive Director, while a very nice man seems to run the show in cliques, observed fully 1st hand and support staff relays the same. His team does not seem to really engage and make a positive impact. The support staff has been nothing but turnover since May 1st. Food has gone downhill, residents complain and nothing has fixed the issues. Not enough people (2) on staff to care for 2 floors of assisted persons needing in and out of wheelchairs, beds, recliners, Bathroom assistance, wound care etc. 5 months to get the resident ice maker working? The level 4 care cost is seemingly the same care for Level 1 especially with Hospice involved yet no one can articulate what constitutes level 4 care. Cannot contact Corporate HQ as no one answers reception desk ever, and I have tried many times. Calls are not returned when messages left to any number you see online. The list goes on and on yet 4 meetings with ED later and no resolve in site. Maybe HQ will respond to this and make some positive changes

My dear sweet mother spent her last 8 months at MorningStar of Parker in Assisted Living in the 4 story building. It is a beautiful facility and in her words, she felt loved and cared for. She also liked the food, especially the salmon. She loved all the people she met and made some beautiful friends. The activities were great too (bingo, book club, happy hour, dining and church). She also got her hair done there and it was fabulous. We also loved the in house nursing group and staff plus PA from Bloom. I highly recommend using all in house services. Everyone we touched there from admin to wait staff, aides, nurses - everyone- were so kind and attentive. I was there to visit my mom often so I to got to know and love them too. It was a wonderful place and experience for her to live out her last days. I could go home and get some rest knowing she was cared for by many special caring people at MorningStar of Parker. Thank you.

We had a wonderful experience with Moringstar. My father started in Independent living in 2018 and progressed through different levels of care. He recently passed while in the Memory Care unit. The industry is difficult, especially through Covid, but the staff of Parker Moringstar really dealt with the challenges and made sure my father was well cared for until the end. There are several employees that made the extra effort to make his life a little easier; they felt like family to my dad. Nothing is perfect but Moringstar has several amenities for all stages of life and we loved the feeling of home. Dad passed peacefully and Moringstar helped us through the process.

I have a friend who moved to MorningStar a year ago. She is a transformed person since moving there. At my community she was so depressed that sometimes she wouldnt even let me in her door. Whenever I go visit her now, she is joyful and energetic and tells me how happy she is at Morning Star. She has found the supportive community that she needs.

I am so thankful that while my Dad was at Morning Star in Parker that the staff truly took the time to get to know him and care about him. They knew his favorite foods to offer him when he didnt feel like eating and they knew that when he would get anxious, the best thing for him was to get outside for a walk and get some fresh air. I have been very impressed by the quality of care for my father at Parker Senior Living by Morningstar. The facility is beautiful and spotless. It has a resort feeling to it and whenever I am there, morning noon or night, the staff are always available and friendly and willing to help. They take the time to get to know their residents and their family and make you feel at ease. They offer a lot to their residents and host several events for the community. Any questions or concerns are always treated professionally and responded to immediately. The management of the facility is top notch and after visiting several senior living communities, I knew that this was the right place for Dad. If you want a caring home away from home for your loved one, look no further.

This facility is great! They took great care of my Grandpa and were very friendly and helpful. The staff really care about their residents and take the time to get to know them and their family. The facility itself is amazing, very clean and modern. My mother has been a resident of Parker Senior Living for almost a year. During that time, I have received peace of mind that she is surrounded by caring people who are ready, willing and able to assist her should she need help. She has the dignity to live an independent life style amid quality residents and staff and the opportunity to be around people her own age and speed. I visit on a daily basis and watch first hand how residents are treated. The facility is attractive and fastidiously clean, social opportunities and activities are varied and often and meals are more than adequate in quality and quantity. I would not hesitate to recommend PSL to someone looking for a quality residence and care for their loved ones.

We looked at numerous assisted living facilities when my moms needs became more than we could handle and were confident Parker Assisted Living was the best place for my mom. My mother has now lived here for almost 4 years; during this time, I have been able to witness true care and compassion by all of the caregivers. I am there daily- I know the staff well and know that my moms unique needs are cared for. When I do have a concern, I feel that the staff is receptive and willing to look for solutions. While I know that this facility is expensive, I would say that you get what you pay for. My mom is cared for, is happy, and has done very well here!
