It became clear that our mom was needing more care than we kids could handle and we knew it was time for us to look around for a place that offered the kind of care we were looking for. Fortunately for us, we found it at Seven Lakes. Kim West met up with us a couple times to ensure that my mom would be in good hands and when we eventually made the decision to move our mom in, Kim was there to guide us and help the make the move as smooth as possible. My mom has been at Seven Lakes for over a year now and we are at peace knowing that the facility and staff are fully capable to perform all the duties required to take care of our mom's day-to-day needs. In addition to that, mom's needs continually change and Seven Lakes is able to adapt to whatever new level of care she needs. We are grateful for the amazing, caring and welcoming staff who work so hard with a smile on their faces.

My wife has been a resident of Seven Lakes Memory Care for nine months as I write this review. She is having and currently still has trouble adjusting as she thinks she should be home with me. However, she if finally getting more settled. The staff has been very patient, kind and caring. My wife is loved and well taken care in spite of her special challenges. Kim was very helpful in getting a spot for her nine months ago.

Seven Lakes is a really nice, caring facility for mom. We had her in a brand new facility in Loveland, but after just a few short months realized that we had her in the wrong place and spoke with Kim West, Sales Director, to ensure we could get her placed in Seven Lakes. Mom improved basically overnight once she was situated here. Kim was a life saver when we needed to get mom moved and we're thankful that she knew us from previous interviews so she could quickly make the change occur for mom. My family loves Kim--she's honest and trustworthy, which is something we were looking for. I would definitely recommend Seven Lakes to anyone to place their loved one here. The staff is very caring and consistent. There is some turn-over, which is to be expected at any place of business, but the care givers remain mostly consistent and those who do come in as replacements quickly assimilate and implement deep care practices. We feel completely comfortable and confident in the care this company provides. The care givers know us as mom's family and they communicate with us on what she's been doing and they care they've provided for her. We trust they are taking good care of Mom. Megan is a great executive director and has put wonderful people in place in each position; each employee knows each resident and demonstrates a lot of respect for each person. Kaylyn (sp), the activities director, and her team are great at making sure that mom is involved in daily activities, which is something we were definitely looking for. I can't say enough good things about the care that mom is receiving here. No other place in Loveland matches the care they provide.

When I first toured this community, I felt like I'd found a unicorn. It checked all of our practical needs while also meeting one of my mom's biggest wishes”a rural setting near a state park! At the time, my dad's dementia had progressed to the point where he needed a higher level of care, and my mom's one request was that they not be separated. Several months later, after my dad experienced a health crisis, Kim contacted us at exactly the right moment to let us know two adjoining rooms had become available. Everything simply fell into place when we needed it most. Move-in day went remarkably smoothly. While our family settled their belongings, the staff welcomed my parents into activities, making the transition much easier. We've now been part of this community for over a year and a half. My mom especially enjoys the music programs, sports-related activities, and anything involving animals. The activities department is exceptional. In fact, my mother spent much of her career training activity directors in long-term care communities, and she frequently comments on how well this team does their job. That is high praise from someone who spent decades in the profession. I visit several times each week and have been there at all hours of the day and on every day of the week. During that time, I have never witnessed a resident being neglected or mistreated. The staff”from housekeeping and dietary services to caregivers, nursing, administration, and the front office”consistently treat residents with professionalism, compassion, and respect. What impresses me most is how staff support one another. When a resident is struggling, they naturally step in to help each other and respond quickly. The care staff are just simply incredible and there are too many to name. I really appreciate all that have cared for my parents. The community experienced an administrative transition during our stay, which initially concerned me. However, things have stabilized, and I've developed a positive working relationship with the current Executive Director. I appreciate her willingness to communicate openly and work collaboratively through concerns. No assisted living or memory care community is perfect, and this one is no exception. There are a few things prospective families should know. Some rooms have better temperature control than others, so I'd encourage families to ask about room location when choosing one or plan on a lot of extra blankets and long-sleeved shirts. Another reality of memory care is that personal belongings sometimes go missing”even when clearly labeled. We've learned that wandering is common for many residents with dementia, and items can easily end up in unexpected places. Linens also tend to get mixed among residents, so I purchased extras and eventually began doing my parents' laundry myself to keep better track of their belongings. These aren't problems unique to this community”they're simply realities of memory care that new families may not anticipate. If I could change one thing about the building itself, it would be to have more rooms with private bathrooms. After my dad passed away, having new suitemates became challenging for my mom, and additional private bathrooms would provide greater comfort and privacy. Overall, if I had to make this decision again, I would choose this community. The compassion, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the staff have consistently outweighed the inevitable challenges that come with caring for individuals living with dementia. This community has earned my trust, and I am grateful my parents have called it home.

My older sister ( MaryJo ) passed away a year ago after living her last eight months at Seven Lakes. I want to reach out again to say our thanks and appreciation of all the help we received for her care. Starting with Kim West ( without her help my sister would not have been accepted because of a different family member). Kim did an excellent job of proving us a beautiful and safe place for MaryJo. The front office staff, Carol, Katie and Barb were always welcoming as I was there almost every day. All the caregivers, medical staff, cleaning staff, chef were amazing human beings ( I miss everyone almost as much as I miss my sister !! The relationships formed are amazing. The location was very convenient as I don't live in Loveland and the property is a beautiful and serene neighborhood. I definitely give a 5 STAR rating. I want help anyone looking for memory care by sharing the special experience our family has had and continues to have at Seven Lakes. Kim West has continued to be available for our family with any care questions or concerns we have about the care of our loved one. Katie and Carol, concierges at the front desk are amazing and can answer most of my concerns. They always know the activity my loved one is in when I check in. The activities Kaylan, Sheila, and Kerri provide; music, exercise, crafts, outdoor experiences to name a few are enjoyed by many. These ladies know the special personalities of each resident to make the activities meaningful. Most importantly is the care giving professional staff that help each resident with their personal daily needs. I enjoy spending time at the home because of exceptional care they provide each resident. Seven Lakes also welcomes outside care givers. We have been very happy with the care Marlene receives from 7 Lakes. I feel that all of her caregivers have been outstanding and I would especially like to rave about Felicia. She is always so cheerful and full of energy and makes Marlene laugh, which is what it’s all about . Very special rave for Tanisha Who Has been very responsive to my many questions. I feel she watches Marlene carefully to see if anything. Negative is happening and then draws it to our attention. My mother was placed at Seven Lakes based on an immediate love for this warm environment. Having a tour from Kim on my first visit, lived up to every first impression felt. Thank you Kim. My first encounter with the tour, said truth to all of Kim's words of comfort and invitation. Staffing are like family and knowledge from all were cloaked in skills and understanding of the dementia process. Kim introduced staff as family, on day one visit. Meeting so many smiling faces that day from maintenance to hairdresser, Jody, and meeting the great front desk greeters, Katie and Carol,. They were all a welcome of comfort with feelings of coming to a family home. Staff compassion is always there. Amazing giving of love,care and ready to serve to all by individual needs and personalities. Thank you all. Smiles, warmth and care, were felt from the first visit and seen daily as our choice to have mom live there was exactly the place. My mom was coming from her home of 73 years and making a transition,which stressed myself and our family more than mom. My mom adapted soon and the staff were reassurring and assistive to her and myself in that initial phase of moving in. Immediate comfort from all staff as she enjoyed her new room, stimulation and felt love given. This was true from the beginning. Leslie, medical nurse on staff and Meghan, director were new after mom arrived ,and joined in with the same compassion and assistance. Thanks to them for over and beyond time given as seen with many hats they served with and their time given to all family staff and needs. I visited my mom daily and the greetings and updated information about what was going on in the home made me feel like I was visiting a family home. Thank you Katie and Carol for your smiles, assist, cookies, and daily direction to keep up with Seven Lakes activities and stimulation. Wonderful choices made for musicians, exercise trainers, and a great hairdresser,Jody. Activity assistant activities adds to the closeness felt at Seven Lakes. My questions for my mom's needs are always addressed, discussed and an immediate troubleshooting given by staff or director. The activity directors,Carrie,and others encouraged mom everyday. Awesome efforts of preparation and delivery. The stimulation is fantastic and delivered with love for all participating at whatever level they could engage. My mother had more smiles, felt at home with and we all have felt Seven Lakes as our family friends.

The caregivers are compassionate and it is so comforting to know my dad is getting the care he needs and also liberal doses of loving words and gestures of kindness and humor daily. As this work (and in corporate-owned) goes, burnout of caregivers and inadequate compensation create challenges (hence the missing star) but I have always been impressed by the interactions of those who care for our loved ones day in and day out.

Seven Lakes has been a great place for my father to receive care as he advances with his Alzheimers. The staff is very caring and patient while doing a very hard job. We have recently moved my mother into Seven Lakes Memory care in Loveland. We only had a few days to look since my father fell at home and fractured his neck and had to be admitted to the hospital. Kate from Care Patrol recommended a few places with availability and after visiting we selected Seven Lakes for many reasons. Cleanliness, awesome executive staff, Director of first impressions the receptionist who is awesome. We got everything set up in a few days and after mom was released from the hospital and admitted directly into Seven Lakes everything went well. We had a few hiccups not of there doing with medication, but rather a miscommunication from the hospital, but that was quickly corrected, and we are on our way now. Every staff member, nurse and support staff have been awesome, and we couldn't have done this so quick without them and Kate from Care Patrol. Kim and Diane have been fantastic on executive side of the facility and are there whenever you need them. Highly Recommended!!!

My husband and I have toured this facility and are really impressed!! The facility is beautiful, clean and safe as well as esthetically inviting. The staff are caring and compassionate. Great community with a fabulous leadership team! I've been working in senior care for the last 2 years and work closely with many senior living communities all over Northern Colorado. I can confidently say that the leadership team at Seven lakes stands out in all the best ways. Adam is always working hard to ensure that the community is engaged with residents and families. He is always very friendly and professional. Luisa works relentlessly to ensure the care needs of every resident are met and exceeded. Kim is always engaging and willing to discuss ideas to support the residents and their families. There are many communities I go to where the leadership team is behind closed doors and unwilling to engage - this is not the case at Seven lakes and it's refreshing! When looking for a memory care facility I was so lucky to have come in contact with Kim West at Seven Lakes! From the moment we had our meeting, I knew this was the place! She answered all my questions or concerns and I could feel the love and compassion throughout the facility. I was introduced to Adam, the director on my tour, and could feel how genuine and caring he is. The staff had a lot to deal with the first few days as my mom was getting accustomed to her new surroundings. She had such a wonderful and loving group of caregivers, including Esme, Teresa, Brittany, Brenda and Gabby, just to name a few. My mother passed away a few days ago and the amount of compassion, caring, and genuine support and kindness was amazing! Thank you to everyone that was a part of her journey. I appreciate you all.

Although we are moving out of state so will not be joining the seven lakes memory care community I would definitely have chosen to place my husband here. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. My wife has been at Seven Lakes Memory Care for more than two years. I live very close and go there almost every day. During this time, the front desk staff has always been friendly and helpful to me and my wife. The facility always seems to be clean. My wife also is always nicely dressed and clean. A few of the care staff, especially Audrey, but others as well have gone way beyond their normal requirement to support, help, and encourage me and my wife. Most important to me, however, is that whenever I go visit her she seems comfortable, content and has a nice smile for me and staff members.

My mom is living at Seven Lakes. I could say so much that is good about Seven Lakes, but let me give an example. When I went to see my mom, she was sitting in her wheelchair with a shoe in her lap. I looked at her feet and both shoes were on, so I took the extra shoe and placed it off to the side. Within 5 minutes, I saw the executive director gently escorting a woman to a chair with the shoe in his hand. After the resident was seated, he knelt down and put the shoe on her foot, all the while talking kindly to the woman. THIS is Seven Lakes. All the staff, from the director on down, care so much for the residents. They are trained regularly in how to communicate with those suffering from dementia, how to care for them, and how to make them feel content. My mom is doing well under their care, and I am so grateful.

The caregivers at Seven Lakes loved my mom as if she was their own. Seven Lakes was the absolute right choice. The facility itself is good, but the care team raise it to a whole other level. Mom had a constant stream of family and friends visiting and all any of us ever saw was love and expert care. I am so grateful we went with Seven Lakes. I have peace of mind knowing Mom spent her time in their care.

I helped transition a private client from Estes Park to Seven Lakes in February. Her family hired me as a private caregiver to ensure a smooth transition for their beloved mother. I had the distinct pleasure of watching the caregivers, nurse and even the executive director engage with my client on a daily basis. Seven Lakes employs quality team members who truly care for the residents. I later found out many of them have been there for several years. Some of my client's favorite caregivers were Esmeralda, Felicia and Julian. If you're looking for a small memory care community you can trust, this is the one.

I was visiting my grandparents and my family wanted to swing by some memory care facilities in area to see what I thought of them. I have to say my first impression of memory care facilities are doom and gloom, but Seven Lakes really changed my overall perspective. This was the first community I toured and they set the bar high! Everyone was super friendly and informative - didn’t feel like that pushing sells approach. Community was clean and the rooms were nice. I just walked in and the Executive Director was more than willing to show me around. He was very helpful and kind - I believe his name was Adam. My grandparents aren’t quite ready for a locked down environment like memory care, but as my grandma progresses Seven Lakes will be my first community choice.

i am replying to a post made by Jan Jan. I see Bridget interact with my family member and other residents when she is working and I can't find anything other than 100% positive things to say about her. She loves and cares for each resident as if they were her own family member! I went to her Facebook page and the posts are not her posts they are shared posts/memes not her personal comments. The residents would be at a great loss if she wasn't working there. They all love her!! Thanks Bridget for making sure my loved one is well taken care of!

I toured Seven Lakes and spoke with many of the residents and staff and came away very impressed with both the quality and cleanliness of the facility and even more importantly, the wonderful staff and their personal, caring approach. Although memory care facilities have challenges (from the occasional unruly resident to difficulty hiring qualified personnel), Seven Lakes consistently manages these and other issues with compassion and a sense of urgency. I highly recommend the facility.

My family LOVES this facility! The caregivers are great! My mom has been there a year and a half and I know most all of the caregivers. They are all wonderful, compassionate people. I saw a negative review on Felicia on here and I want to say we all love Felicia! She is over the top sometimes but keeps things jovial and she loves my mom and my mom loves her! Also a shout out to the staff outside of caregiving. Wonderful place overall and I and my sister highly recommend!!!

We are very pleased with our choice of Seven Lakes memory care for our mom. After a year, we have noticed that mom seems more content and easy-going The staff has worked hard at learning about our mom. They’ve adjusted her medications, learned what to expect and what to look for, and relate all of these things to us as needed. The staff is personable and very courteous to our mom and us. The phone is always answered promptly every time we call, and they are always very willing to put mom on the phone with us. They will take photos to share and willingly set us up with window meetings, Skype/FaceTime. They even offer Zoom family council meetings and send a weekly newsletter of all activities, meals etc. The billing procedures are transparent and consistent. The Director of Health keeps a close eye on everyone, and is never too busy to answer our questions and address our concerns. The new Director is friendly, competent, and handles everything with confidence. The new chef is creating visually appealing and tasty meals. Seven Lakes is keeping everyone safe through COVID and although we can’t visit face to face, we feel connected.

I visited the site and met many of the the staff at Seven Lakes when needing a facility which specializes in memory care some time ago. Seeking one-on-one appreciation of a beloved family member and specialization in finding a home away from home for a priceless soul (whom I couldn't imagine not having with us) was the goal in visiting Seven Lakes. This is almost too difficult to write about. For circumstances too personal to disclose, I'll essentially say that there ultimately wasn't a need for their compassionate staff, attentive care, personalized recreation, and very clean, beautiful living quarters. Had the circumstances been different, I can say with confidence that I would have gotten to know Cindy, who was the director at the time, and the other staff there, more personally, as it presented as a tremendously safe, warm, inviting home for a family member to find peace, community and companionship. I was compelled to visit again recently... I'm so glad that Seven Lakes and those that work and reside there are well-protected, clearly content, and that an air of love was still very much present. My thoughts sometimes return to my first impression of the site visit I initially experienced, sitting down and then later touring with Cindy. I'm grateful to know that this place is authentic and is simply "there", if and when a season should call for it. All I can think to say is, "Thank You".

My mother lived at Seven Lakes a little over a year and the care she received was excellent. The staff were very caring and attentive. I would highly recommend this community.

I love the community feel. The administrators and caregivers hearts are in the right place. They really care about the residents. They are organized and clean. They are helpful. The only reason it is not 5 star is the food is icky and I wish there was a higher ratio of caregivers to residents. Not sure that you will find either of those any better in other facilities though.

I was so incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to conduct my doctoral research study at Seven Lakes Memory Care. I purposely selected Seven Lakes Memory Care for a study site because of its emphasis on person-centered and abilities focused care approaches. The caregiving staff do an amazing job at not only providing opportunities tailored to the interests of the residents but also engaging the residents directly in daily activities. I would highly recommend this facility and encourage people to pursue a tour to learn more about Seven Lakes Memory Care!

My husband has been at Seven Lakes Memory Care since October. He is so well adjusted and is very happy there. Because he is happy, I am happy! They provide lots of activities and he really likes that. I have yet to come visit and find him in his room. I like that the rooms open into the living and dining room area and are not located down a long hall. The residents are able to go to an outside patio/garden area. The staff is wonderful and so, so caring.

After having very unsatisfactory care for my mother at another Memory Care facility in Loveland, CO, we heard excellent comments about Seven Lakes. We moved my mother there and were immediately impressed by the staff and the layout of the building. We loved the staff, everyone from Cindy, the director, the nurses Jordan and Leslie, Lynn, the marketing director, Barb, the office manager, and all the caregivers. We never once felt intimated or ignored and everyone always took time to answer our questions. We were constantly updated on my mother's condition and as far as medications were concerned, we all agreed the less the better rather than be overmedicated. The floor plan is unique and well-suited for someone with dementia. There are small (very clean) neighborhoods or pods with only 12 residents in each. Each pod has their own kitchen, dining area, TV area, and living room. This allows the caregivers better access to the residents at all times. It also cuts down on the noise and activity, which can be agitating for someone with dementia. I could see that my mother did so much better in this environment. She got lots of hugs from everyone daily and we were so happy she was finally in a loving and compassionate home. I highly recommend Seven Lakes!

My Mom moved to Seven Lakes about 6 months ago following a very scary, unpleasant, unsatisfying experience at another facility in Northern Colorado. Since she moved to Seven Lakes she has returned to her happy self. The spark that we always saw has returned. The caregivers are amazing. They are loving and so caring - very refreshing to witness. She is kept busy with many fun activities that she enjoys and has definitely thrived in this new environment. We are very thankful we discovered Seven Lakes.

The care given to my father was outstanding. Caregivers were always attentive, food was excellent, and our family was always kept in the loop with any changes to his physical or mental condition. I would often visit unannounced and always appreciated the treatment my dad was receiving when I'd come into the room.
