This place has become a total disappointment. My parent is not happy living here anymore mainly because of the food. They serve the worst meals you can imagine. A prisoner has a better selection than these poor people do. A new company has bought this place and totally screwed up the decor. The hallways look like a hospital. It's not a warm, welcoming facility anymore, like it used to be. We will be moving our parent out of this place as soon as we have the opportunity somewhere else. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY.

Such a strong management team at Sugar Valley which I appreciate so much. They are approachable, reliable, hardworking, genuine and go the extra mile for their residents. The facility is beautiful. The rooms are nice. The staff is wonderful, BUT what happened to the food being served? I was shocked when I came for lunch with my mother and they served these very, very small portions of food. And many times they aren't allowed 2nds. So, I would take out the dining picture with the generous helping of food in it because that is simply not true. I know the facility was recently bought by a large corporation and that is when things began to change...not for the best interests of others.

Every staff member that works at Sugar Valley is a delight. Our brother in law who has lived there for a year says he has never had a bad meal. The staff knows not only the residents names, but several interesting facts about each of them. If you value authentic community, this is the place for you.

My Mom lives there. She loves it. Becky who works at the front desk, is a great good will ambassador for the Complex. The social activities are an integral part of what makes Sugar Valley, not just a place to live, but a Home Full of Friends.

Sugar Valley is where my brother-in-law resides and we picked it over 9 other places! They got on top of the pandemic really early - not waiting for the governments mandates, and they have not had one positive test for Covid 19 all year! The administrators genuinely care about the residents and it shows every day!!!

My 80-something father-in-law was invited here for a meeting with a fellow Korean War veteran; I was his escort. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, making sure we both felt at home. From the lobby to the Honor Wall to the library to the dining room -- lunch was great -- Sugar Valley is a wonderful place.

Friendly staff, nice living area, plenty of hosted events. The food could use some sprucing up - its like eating at a cafeteria.... or a mess hall in the army.

My mother lives here, the facility is very nice and well maintained. However, my mother has been very, very dissatisfied with the food, and she and many others have complained, and the food doesnt improve. For the price it cost to live here you really should receive much better.
