Reviews Atria Longmont
July 2026
We moved my father-in-law into Artia Longmont Assisted Living in June, and the entire process happened much faster than we expected. It was a stressful time for our family, but the staff at Artia made all the difference. They were incredibly kind, compassionate, and supportive from the very beginning. The staff is always friendly and treats the residents with dignity and respect while encouraging as much independence as possible. It truly feels like they care about the people who live there. One thing that really stood out to us is how clean the community is”there is absolutely **no unpleasant odor**, which says a lot about the care and attention they give to the residents and the facility. I would recommend Artia Longmont with all my heart to anyone looking for an assisted living community for a loved one. Thank you for making such a difficult transition so much easier for our family.

My stepmother is a resident at Atria assisted living. Because she has Alzheimer’s, the transition has been tough. But over time, she has come to feel at home there, walking and socializing daily, eating healthy meals with other residents, feeling safe and getting her meds routinely given. On-site physical therapy was amazing, and I felt I had a partner in working on ways to improve her quality of life. She has some unique needs, and they have accommodated them. When my stepmom is safe and content, it makes me happy!

Atria Longmont is not the most expensive nor the cheapest. Overall, I am happy with the care that they provide.

After almost 5 years at Atria Longmont, mom just had to move to a Medicaid approved skilled nursing home. A very sad day. Mom moved into Atria in 2021 under their assisted living program as she was suffering from mild dementia and memory loss. When the symptoms worsened significantly she moved to the memory care area. Her entire stay at Atria was a positive experience. The building feels more residential than facility, with lots of places to spend time, whether chatting in the living room, working out the gym or reading or playing games in the library. The memory care area is smaller and more intimate but still retains the same home like quality. The staff took excellent care of her and put me at ease, knowing she was safe and loved. Yes, loved. Her caregivers treated her with respect and affection and kept me up to date on everything from her running low on shampoo to her moods to the activities they convinced her to participate in. On moving out day mom wasn't really aware of what was happening but I sure was, and I cried and cried, and hugged all our wonderful support team. A terrible situation made positive by everyone at Atria.

I got a tour with Nikki at Atria. It exceeded my expectations as a community. All staff and residents were so kind, and the sense of community was so strong. Some things that stood out to me about Atria were that they provide transportation for residents not just to medical appointments but anywhere they might need to go and the communal dining room. Atria also has a wonderful feature on their website where you can calculate the price of living on your own and compare it to see the difference between home living and living in a community which I find extremely helpful for families. Great job Atria!

My Mom has been at Atria for 2 1/2 years now. She started out in Independent Living and has recently transferred to Assisted Living. One of the reasons we chose Atria was that IL & AL are in the same building and they share a dining room, so Mom could seamlessly transition when the day came that she needed a higher level of care. The Director and her staff here are terrific. They’re super compassionate and friendly, and they’ve been helpful and responsive throughout this transition. The best thing is that everyone has been flexible and willing to accommodate Mom’s needs. It really helps Mom and the family that Atria offers so many services in house. For example - hair salon, fitness studio and physical / occupational therapy, even her healthcare providers visit her on-site. As her ambulatory abilities decline, it’s been super helpful to not have to travel for services. Lastly, Atria offers a lot of social programs and outings, as well as driver services in case Mom needs to go out. It’s great to know that Mom is safe, well cared for, and has many opportunities to socialize as desired. My family & I are happy that we chose Atria.

My mother has lived at Atria Longmont Assisted Living for five years now and could not be happier. From the beginning she was welcomed both by residents and staff and soon she became one of the residents welcoming other new comers and continues to do so. Many homes like this are quite depressing and the halls filled with people's loved ones who have nothing to do, are depressed and quite frankly just seem to be waiting to pass away. This is not true at Atria. There is light, beautiful surroundings, residents seen talking, moving, laughing and living their lives. There is transport to a variety of activities, a hair salon, church services every other week, musical events, learning events, and on and on. The staff are wonderful (Madonna, Carol, Lee, Valerie, Susan, Hector, Jackie, Jaimie, etc) and really care about my Mom and KNOW her. Katie, the Executive Director, always has an open door and is absolutely amazing at keeping all the myriad of things that need overseeing running smoothly. She is also truly committed to making sure any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently. She cares for each resident personally. They all go out of their way to make sure my Mom's needs are met as well as the other residents. She loves the food and always attends the meetings to talk about what the residents might request and how things can improve. There are so many activities for a variety of interests and for those who also have mobility challenges. She made friends from day one because there is a spirit of welcoming and drawing in new comers both among the residents and from the Staff. She loves coming to the dining room to eat and to participate in activities. I am on my own making sure my Mom's practical and emotional needs are cared for and cannot imagine being able to do this without the day to day support she receives from Atria. I thank God for this "home" she has every day.

Mom is happy at Atria! It’s that simple. She has made friends, enjoys the food & care she receives and not having to do all the things that living on your own requires. I am deeply grateful to the Life Guidance team.
March 2024
I have a relative that recently moved in. The staff have been so welcoming and understanding to what they need. There is a overnight caregiver (Corina) that just goes above and beyond to make sure that they are comfortable throughout her shifts, makes sure to say goodbye every morning and just overall makes them feel more like they are at home. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my loved one
March 2024
When our mom moved into Atria we were worried that she would be calling us daily to go back home. Within the first week of living there she said it felt like home and she loved the residents and staff. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

As a resident of Atria Longmont, I searched many different communities before choosing a place to live. I feel I found the right place with the right people for this time in my life. Residents and staff are very friendly and we laugh a lot. There are great activities to meet many interests and the culinary experiences are varied and presented with thoughtfulness and care. Atria Longmont is a great place to live! Check it out!
February 2024
I was impressed with the friendliness of both staff and residents. All the staff new my name immediately and were ready to answer any questions I had. My husband was in the memory care neighborhood and I have an independent living apartment. I appreciated the staff in the memory care and fell in love with all of them right away. The care they gave my husband was incredible, but they treated me just the same. The way the staff works as a TEAM is impressive. I also appreciate the wide variety of the activities that are offered. I would recommend this community to whomever may be looking for a senior living place.

My mother-in-law has lived in Atria for a number of years. She recently has transitioned to Assisted Living from Independent Living. She loves the Atria staff, especially the manager Scott. He has done so much for her during this transition. I thought their COVID care was spot on even though she missed her friends. In fact, for Christmas, they set up a Zoom call with all of her family that she thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend Atria for your loved one.
May 2021
My mom has lived at Ateria for 4 years. She was totally capable of living by herself but lacked the social interaction. Since moving her into Independent Living at Ateria she has really blossomed. She enjoys dining with her friends, the exercise program, crafting, the Thursday evening happy hour, and movie night where she helps set up and makes the popcorn. She has made many new friends with the residents and staff. She recently moved into Assisted Living and the Director, Scott Woods couldn't have been more helpful and caring. I would highly recommend Atria Longmont.
April 2021
My mother has lived here for the last four years and loves it. Great social environment and management is willing to work with you in your transition from independent living to assisted living and beyond. This Atria location was one of the top in the state in managing Covid with only a few cases and no deaths. I highly recommend.
April 2021
Although we did not move my dad into the Artia of Longmont, I needed to leave a review to say thank you to Katie who has worked with me since the beginning of last year in trying to find an appropriate AL for my dad, even zooming the rooms when covid didn't allow in person visits. Thank you Katie! When my time comes for Assisted Living I'd be happy to move in!

Family is very happy with this community...
April 2021
Understanding where Mom needed to go and what she needed to have provided was overwhelming, when I visited Atria Longmont a ton of weight was lifted off my shoulders. The whole team seemed to be involved with the process and my questions where listened to and answered. The place is not perfect with Covid and a pandemic going on, but you can tell they work hard on behalf of my mother and the others here. I am thankful for everything they have done and I am especially thankful for Dale, Catherine and the Nurses for helping my family through the process.
February 2021
I have found Atria Longmont to be a very resident friendly facility. It is staffed by capable pleasant individuals who go out of their way to be sure our needs are met or exceeded. They went above and beyond in the Covid outbreak to be sure we were protected at all times with measures designed to keep us and others safe. Atria is extremely well maintained at all times. I could not ask for a better place to spend my final years.
January 2021
Great staff, Awesome Management!
February 2019
We needed to get my mother into assisted living, and Atria was by far the most welcoming and well-run facility we saw. My mom moved in last March and hasn't been happier since! She is in the AL side - kind of early to mid-range assistance. My mother no longer has to clean or cook, and has plenty of friends and activities to keep her pretty active and busy! Whenever we visit we meet more great people who my mom depends on, like Dale, Madonna, and Derrick. Atria isn't perfect, and their financial charges are higher than I'd like for my mom. But they're dedicated to keeping quality of life high for their residents, and especially those with memory issues, as my mother has. They follow a wonderful philosophy which is reflected in their dedication to thoughtful food by a known chef, daily exercise classes, and musical and other activities to keep the mind sharp and attitudes happy. I can rest easier knowing my mother has such a great staff taking care of her.

Three years ago we were forced to find assisted living for my mother and step-father. After looking into many facilities in the area, we found that none could compare to Atria! Even though it was difficult for them to leave their home, the staff at Atria made the transition as smooth as possible. They offer many different activities; have organized outings; provide transportation around the Longmont area; and have a wonderful dining facility (restaurant style “ including cloth napkins!) where delicious meals are prepared by Chef Fred. Every resident at Atria has their own apartment that can be furnished to their liking and provide privacy as well. As my mother and stepfather’s health declined over the years, we moved them to the Memory Care unit (Life Guidance) at Atria. What a warm, wonderful caring staff! They treat their residents with the utmost respect and are truly invested in their daily needs. EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER at Atria is to be commended for the job they do. I would absolutely recommend Atria to anyone looking for exceptional care for a loved one. -- Doug Bell

This review is provided on behalf of my Mother, Barbara Esterbrook who has lived at Atria for over a year. She is very happy in her environment and this is how she describes it: The STAFF at Atria Longmont are who make my home’ such a warm and cheerful environment. There is always a smile and a personal salutation, including my name, when I meet anyone of the staff anywhere throughout the facility. They are all so willing to help in any way. That having been said, there is one individual who in my opinion stands out the most and that is our Engage Life Director, Donna Stang. She is so pleasant and high energy and goes out of her way to engage every resident and to promote the feeling of all belonging to the Atria family.’
February 2014
(Written on the behalf of a Resident of The Atria Longmont) I want to tell you about the employee, Jane Murphy "I want the world to see how much she means to me. On the days she is scheduled to help me she makes my bed, puts on my elastic hose and shoes, empties my wastebasket and brings drinking water to my bedroom. She puts clothes away after they have been washed. When my clothes come back wrinkled, she will take them back to the laundry and get the wrinkles out then put them away for me. When I am sick she checks on me several times a day to make sure I am alright. She always asks if my diabetes blood sugar tests are with in the correct range and if I need help getting to the dining room. When she comes to my bedroom to help me she is always smiling and usually singing a happy song. When she is through helping me, she gives me a big hug. I love that.
February 2014
The atmosphere at Atria Longmont is relaxed and friendly and the staff seems to really care about and get involved with the residents. The activities director, Donna Stang, is amazing, seems to know every single client and their families personally and keeps people involved with a great variety of activities. Also, Wanda, in the dining room , has wonderful personal relationships with the residents and families.

If it were not for the wonderful Employees, Atria would not even be on the map in my book.. It is the employees all the way from the top office to the nursing staff to the food service to the drivers to the Social director. Your workers ARE Atria. My Aunt Loves it there and has thrived there since she moved in over 3 years ago.
February 2014
This is a note to praise one of our wait staff, Jonathon. First it is hard to single out just one person her at Atria Longmeadow. All the staff are good:, professional and conscientious. And to my of thinking about half of the staff would be truly outstanding if they worked elsewhere. Many of these folks have been here 10 or more years. But Jonathon stands out even above these. His patience, and generosity are unrivaled. We residents can be pretty demanding, and having grown up in the restaurant business, I am familiar with suffering the slings and arrows of unreasonable expectations and demands of customers. But I have never seen anyone as unflappable in these situations as Jonathon. I have also seen Jonathon respond to emergencies with his pleasant and calm demeanor. He is remarkable to his fellow sait staff as well. Jonathon jumps in to help -- to divert a clash between residents, to cover for a tardy colleague, to break through a bureaucratic delay, to help clear or set tables when other wait staff are stretched -all without making anything of his efforts. I am inspired every day be his kind equanimity.
February 2014
Atria is such a wonderful place for my Mom to live. She makes comments all the time about how nice everyone is to her. I find that the staff goes out of their way to be helpful and that really means a lot. My Mom has difficulty remembering names, but Donna Stang is someone she never forgets. Donna really does stand out and goes above and beyond. Thank you Atria, for being there for my Mom.
February 2014
A wonderful place to be all of the staff are friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a home for a member of your family who needs more assistance than you can give them, this is the place. My mother is here. At 95, she has a home where she is treated like family by the staff. It's a warm and fuzzy place to be. It's amazing to see someone at her age dashing off to exorcize class or the ice cream parlor and getting excited.
